Pillar of Yita

It can be said that Nikopolas really let his believers down.

In fact, if he understood the painstaking efforts of the Dragon Worship Sect, he should have first laid low and diminished the impact of the Traveler’s Rest incident.

Then cooperate with the Dragon Worshippers in Dolifen to reclaim most of their Strength from the Dragon’s Golden Eyes, instead of allowing this Strength to fall into Fang Hong’s hands and now become Nini.

But he didn’t do them.

Nikopolas’s behavior was far from the insidious and cunning ’Dragon’s Witch’ that Fang Hong had in mind.

The Duchess, who went by the name Aerte, controlled Colin King for as long as ten years with the cooperation of the Dragon Worship Sect’s high-ranking members at the time.

It was only through the joint efforts of Xiuyuede and Kalatu that her true identity was revealed, ultimately leading to her downfall in the Ash Woods.

However, Fang Hong suddenly remembered something. Nikopolas seemed to have a precedent—

He looked up and gazed at the ruins of the city below the distant cliff.

Idus, that was Nikopolas’s first masterpiece. Her first transformation into a dragon completely destroyed the city, and even her birth place, the Dragon’s Land.

After that, she disappeared until the disguised duchess was revealed. That was a dark period of twelve years for Colin Ishurian, but now few know of this history.

The furious Nikopolas and the cunning Dragon’s Witch, which one is the real her?

In the Nikopolas that Fang Hong had seen, it seemed the first form was more prevalent. He also saw her other form, which might have been Lady Misu.

But behind Lady Misu’s silhouette, is there another Nikopolas?

He subconsciously thought of the fragmented scenes he saw in the Phantom Realm, those noisy, dreamlike disputes.

He took a breath, and snapped back. The mysteries surrounding Nikopolas are indeed numerous, but there are also many surrounding the Dragon Worship Sect.

About the Dragonfire Guild, about the Stargate itself, and those Blood Shark Sky Pirates in front.

And their wishful motives, and what role played by Toragotos on the other side, is it really dead?

And Rolin, that mysterious Invoker who completely disappeared after the Fanric incident.

In Linen’s words, he was considered a decent person, and Linen also asked that if given a chance, he could rescue him from the Dragon Worship Sect.

But what to rescue with—a decent person, why join the Dragon Worship Sect? The counterpart shouldn’t be unaware of how many innocent lives were lost in the Fanric incident.

Linen didn’t figure out the relationship here, but he saw it clearly.

Lastly, there was the Dulun affair, whether Enan’s brother was real or not, they haven’t figured it out. Until now, the counterpart seemed to show no abnormal performance.

And in this attack, he didn’t participate nor play any role, acting as an outsider. But being an outsider makes it more perplexing.

At the time, in the snowstorm, that moment couldn’t be simply dismissed as Sophie having hallucinations. Besides, similar hallucinations were experienced by Atira and Tianlan.

The owner of that Armor, Sir Diket, had already been found out to be the cousin of Kalatu, who was an Archmage a hundred years ago and a friend of the Dragon Slaying Hero Xiuyuede.

As for what role he played in this conspiracy, it still remains a mystery.

So many mysteries gathered here, their only connection seems to be just one Dragon’s Witch.

What on earth happened a hundred years ago, or is it just as simple as recorded officially? The deeper Fang Hong delved, the more he felt the fog thickened.

And the truth hidden within the fog, the more he pursued, the more perplexed he became.

Thinking of that Armor, Fang Hong suddenly remembered Sir Diket. From the testimonies of those Sky Pirates, they seemed to have never heard of such a person. But calculating the time, Diket should have arrived at Idus much earlier than them. As for his current whereabouts, it still remains a mystery.

”Indeed so,” Fang Hong finally nodded: ”Actually, I also have some doubts, if Nikopolas really came to Idus, the Elfendo Council wouldn’t be completely unaware.”

But he added: ”Just if it’s not Nikopolas, I really can’t think of what else there might be.”

Reed thus said: ”Why don’t you go see for yourself.”

Upon hearing this, Fang Hong looked at the Lion Person a bit surprised.

Reed noticed his gaze and asked: ”What’s wrong?”

”Has Mr. Reed perceived something?”

”Not really,” Reed smiled casually: ”Sometimes when intelligence is insufficient to make a judgement, why not go a bit closer.”

”Mr. Reed means we go into town to take a look?” This coincided with Fang Hong’s own thoughts.

The Lion Person nodded: ”Besides, I haven’t seen that person for many years, wanting to confirm some things by the way.”

Fang Hong hesitated, looked at Reed, and asked: ”If Mr. Reed meets that person...”

”Don’t worry, Ade,” the Lion Person squinted his silver eyes, ”I will prioritize team arrangements.”

”No, that’s not what I mean,” Fang Hong shook his head, ”I’m just a bit curious.”

”Curious?” Reed laughed: ”Actually, there’s nothing much to be curious about, it’s just an old story of a betrayer. However, actually I don’t care much if he is a betrayer, it’s just because of some questions that need an answer.”
