Rebirth in Another World as the Undead Queen

Warbeast—Skeletal Abomination, Eiklo

Looking at those skeletal light cavalry, each clad in chain mail and wielding lances, Serea felt an intangible sense of oppression, especially since they were riding such terrifying creatures.

Those were warhorses made entirely of white bone, each with a cluster of soul fire burning in its skull.

Upon closer inspection, the flickering of the soul fire within the bone horses seemed to be synchronized with that of their skeletal riders, allowing them to perfectly follow the commands of the skeletal light cavalry.

Especially since these bone horses also came with the skill ”Reinforced Charge (Tier 2)”.

Over a hundred ordinary skeletons, more than thirty specialized Skeleton Warriors, and twenty skeletal light cavalry—while she only had thirteen ordinary Skeleton Warriors.

Even though her side’s units were of a higher level and benefited from various attribute bonuses, there was no way they could withstand such sheer numbers...

”System, is this what you meant by a seventy percent chance of victory? Seems more like I only have a thirty percent chance of beating him!”

System: Revalidating. Analysis remains accurate.

”Huh?”

Serea was somewhat puzzled. Could the system really place so much faith in her?

But as she continued to observe, Serea noticed something odd...

There were a total of twenty skeletal light cavalry present, but only six had mounted up and moved forward, while the others’ soul fires within their eye sockets were dull and lifeless.

Seeing Addis so flustered, Serea understood...

He was at his population cap!

So, you like to play at overwhelming numbers, do you? Well, today the tables have turned!

It wasn’t just the skeletal light cavalry suffering—nearly half of the Skeleton Warriors were also frozen in place, unmoving.

But the ordinary skeletons were different. They were unaffected and swarmed over en masse.

”Damn it! How dare you ignore your king’s orders!”

No matter how much Addis raged impotently, those undead simply did not obey.

Without being able to establish a mental connection, he could only watch helplessly as they stood rooted to the spot.

”Hmph, no matter. Even just with these, dealing with you worms will be more than enough.”

As Addis spoke, a woman stepped up beside him—it was Bettymia!

But at this moment, bettymia’s eyes were empty and lifeless; it appeared she had been completely controlled by Addis. Serea knew she needed to remain vigilant against this woman.

Clenching the blood crystal in one hand, Serea was ready to launch into Blood Frenzy mode, and Celia noticed her action.

”Are you going to use that power again?”

”Mhm. There’s no other way now. If this hidden danger isn’t eliminated, the elven village will be at risk—and then the Blood Well would have been built for nothing.”

Hearing this, Celia had no reason to object. Though that power could harm Her Highness’s body, right now there really was no other option...

Moreover, Serea had another motive: she had her eye on the technological path of the Death Altar.

If she could unlock it through this battle, it would be a huge gain!

Combining both reasons, Serea knew she had to eliminate Addis before he was fully revived.

”Afterward, I’ll have to ask you to heal me.”

As Serea spoke, she clenched the blood crystal tighter, and the crystal began to melt.

”This time, I’m not looking after your life or death.”

”Heh, you say that, but I know what you mean.”

”......”

Apparently annoyed to see the two of them chatting casually before his eyes, Addis shouted loudly:

”Warriors, charge! Tear those ignorant living beings to pieces!”

*Clack clack clack!*

The skeletons snapped their jaws and charged together. Seeing this, Serea looked to Marlow and Camilla.

”In a moment, no one will be able to spare attention for you. You’re on your own.”

Having said that, the Skeleton Warriors formed up—not only shielding the others behind them, but following Serea’s command to...

Keep mobile during combat!

When facing swarm tactics, they would have to leverage their elite individual strength and maneuver to avoid being surrounded by the skeletal horde.

This would allow them to contract their battle lines and reduce contact fronts, thereby limiting the opponent’s horde tactics.

And to keep the enemy’s elite units from breaking through their lines, Serea needed to take targeted action.

”Hmph, still trying to resist to the end? Then take a look at this!”

With a grand wave of his hand, Addis caused a gray magic circle to appear above the pile of bones.

The pile stopped producing skeletons and instead began fusing together.

”Death and destruction—this is your fate. Awaken, my servant!”

A thick gray mist billowed out of the magic circle and infused the bones. The bones gradually fused together, forming a giant ”fatty” nearly nine meters tall, made from countless bone fragments.

Two enormous bone-fused claws gripped a giant butcher’s cleaver— the Skeletal Abomination was awake!

”My master, let Eiklo handle these pathetic insects for you.”

The Abomination’s voice rang out from a ball of red soul fire, clearly displaying basic intelligence.

Description: The Skeletal Abomination is a massive monster stitched together from countless corpses—a common type of small war beast during undead invasions.

Here it comes!

Having already scanned Addis’s abilities, Serea had anticipated this kind of monster and prepared accordingly.

As soon as the Skeletal Abomination appeared, it zeroed in on Serea and began lumbering toward the formation of Skeleton Warriors.

”Devour them all!”

It let out a hostile roar, but the first to greet it was an arrow shot by Little White.

Power Shot!

An arrow flew straight at the abomination’s skull, but compared to the monster’s huge body, the damage the arrow inflicted was negligible—even Little White’s Power Shot could only break a few bones.

The unit type matchup greatly limited Little White’s effectiveness; seeing this, Serea stopped him from wasting more arrows. She had another method for dealing with the beast.

”I’m hungry!”

The giant beast kept advancing slowly as the Skeleton Warriors held their ground. But no matter how strong they were, they were still no match for such a monster.

”Hahaha! No one can stop Eiklo’s advance—you’re all doomed!”

Addis laughed maniacally, but Serea paid no attention. A thought suddenly popped into her mind.

Use a beast to fight a beast!

That being the case...

Black markings crawled across Serea’s skin, and her hair turned silvery-white.

Meeting Serea’s dark golden eyes, Addis began to sense that something was wrong.

System: Blood Frenzy (Tier 2) activated—consuming 20 points of dark energy per minute.

In an instant, waves of pain and weakness surged through Serea, but whether due to acclimatization or something else, this time she was able to withstand it and remain standing.

She looked up and shouted loudly.

”Gargoyle!”
