Rebirth in Another World as the Undead Queen

Doruru

Splash!

Inside the bathroom of a villa on the estate, a chubby, bald man was enjoying his bath time.

As the greatest noble in Jones City, Niltos Terance owned the most luxurious bathhouse in the city.

From the stone dragon heads on the bathroom walls, jets of hot water gushed forth, the noisy sound of water isolating him from the chaotic sounds of battle outside.

But Niltos had no idea that an assassin had already dismantled all the estate’s defenses within just a few minutes.

Or rather... instead of calling it a defense, it was more accurate to say there were only a dozen or so useless noble guards.

As for the other people within the estate...

Woman after woman dressed in maid outfits was attending to Niltos as he bathed. To be able to soak in a bath so leisurely late at night was the most comfortable thing.

”Hm, did I just hear something?”

Although the noises outside were faint, Niltos still noticed them.

But at that moment, a young woman who was bathing with o leaned in. She was the stepmother that Niltos had found for Kayn after Kayn’s birth mother passed away.

No one knew what kind of person she really was, but from her looks and figure alone, she was certainly worthy of the Terance family’s status. Besides, she was the daughter of a minor noble herself.

”Master, you must have heard wrong. In Jones City, who else is foolish enough to cause trouble here?”

”That’s true.”

Hearing the sound of splashing water all around, Niltos grabbed Menie’s blue hair and lifted it to his nose for a sniff.

”Maybe I’m just overthinking things?”

”Mmh, master, you must have been too busy during the day, and so tonight we should...”

As she spoke, Menie shot Niltos a flirtatious glance, instantly reigniting his interest.

But just as Niltos was about to do something, he suddenly remembered something important.

”Oh, darling, tonight might not work.”

While he was speaking, Niltos had another young girl’s alluring image in his mind.

”It’s because of that elf, isn’t it?”

Menie coquettishly teased him, and Niltos was a little embarrassed from being exposed.

”Darling, as you know, as a noble, it’s essential for our bloodline to continue. These things are unavoidable. Tomorrow—tomorrow I’ll take you somewhere nice. Whatever you want, I’ll buy it for you.”

”Well, since Master says so, Menie can only obey.”

Although she seemed a little unwilling, Menie still agreed.

”Mua~ Good girl, I’m heading out then.”

After getting Menie’s consent, he left eagerly, calling out as he went.

”Tomorrow, okay~”

Niltos departed, leaving only Menie and the maids behind.

After Niltos left, the fake smile on Menie’s face vanished, replaced with a cold, indifferent expression.

”Ma’am, would you like to get out of the bath...”

A maid approached, but before she could finish her sentence, a thrown dagger slit her throat.

As a black-robed assassin appeared, the remaining maids tried to scream, but several more assassins rushed out and slit their throats too, silencing them before any sound escaped.

After clearing out the maids in the bathroom, three assassins gathered in front of Menie.

”Captain, it’s all done. Do you need us to restrain Niltos?”

”No need, sounds of battle are coming from outside already. I suppose the captain and the others made their move.”

”What? Made their move? Wasn’t our plan supposed to be an assassination?”

”I don’t know the details. In any case, since action has been taken, let’s hurry up. Take this chance while Niltos is away to split up and search for evidence of the Terance family’s secret smuggling of magic mithril. Try to find proof of their dealings with those above, to hit our enemies as hard as we can.”

”Yes, Ma’am!” x3

The three assassins answered in unison and then scattered to search.

It was obvious these four were from the Assassination Star—they were in league with the six black-robed assassins outside.

These four were in charge of ’internal cooperation’, dismantling resistance from within while gathering evidence, while the other six were the ’external reinforcement’, lying in wait to wipe out the Terance family once evidence was obtained.

Such a carefully planned assassination operation unfolded quietly.

This was the work of true killers—far more professional than a certain someone who strutted in through the front gates, activated stealth right under the guards’ noses, and went on an unstoppable rampage.

As for that so-called ’certain assassin’, he too had boldly entered the villa and, after activating stealth, wandered the estate looking for his elimination target—Niltos.

Empty soul flames flickered in his eye sockets, but just now, Little Black had encountered a serious problem...

He was lost. He couldn’t find Niltos...

If you ask how an assassin could possibly get lost—well, why not also ask why an assassin would enter through the main gate, stealth in front of the guards, and go on a one-man slaughter?

Either way, it was a very awkward situation. Without Serea’s commands, Little Black could only search room by room, stabbing anyone he found to avoid being discovered by the enemy.

”Niltos!”

Staring at yet another wrong room, Little Black was bewildered.

”Establish the target’s location and confirm enemy intel before the operation. This is necessary learning.”

Reflecting on his mistake, Little Black gained more experience on his path as an assassin.

But for now, he was still stuck and couldn’t find a way out. Wandering on the second floor, he suddenly heard a scream.

”Ah!”

It was a woman’s scream, the sound attracting Little Black, who began moving in that direction.

It came from behind a half-open rosewood door, light spilling from the crack—clearly someone was inside, and the scream had come from there.

”Living presence, potential threat, avoid exposure, eliminate!”

Little Black extended his bone blade from beneath his black robe and approached the door.

At that moment inside, Little Black’s assassination target, Niltos, was there. But apart from him, there was someone else... or rather, another elf.

”No, stay away from me!”

Doruru screamed. Seeing the man in nothing but a bathrobe slowly approaching, she could easily guess what would happen next, leaving her terrified.

But Niltos, anticipating Doruru’s resistance, had already instructed his men to tie her up beforehand. Now, clad only in her undergarments, Doruru’s limbs were bound to the bed, making resistance impossible.

”Hehehe, darling, don’t scream. You’ve been screaming all night. Don’t be scared—uncle will protect you.”

As he spoke, Niltos advanced toward the bound Doruru. Seeing Niltos draw closer step by step, tears welled up in the corners of Doruru’s eyes.

”Brother... Sister... Your Majesty and commander, please save Doruru!”

Doruru cried out helplessly in her heart, struggling with all her strength, but not only could she not break free, the resistance only aroused Niltos’ lust even more.

”Baby, here I come!”

Niltos came up to the bed.

Right now, Doruru was terrified, as Niltos’ mountainous body loomed over her.

And this ’Doruru’ was precisely the ’little sister’ of Dolusam from before.
