Rebirth in Another World as the Undead Queen

The Returning Blood Elf Royalty

System: Release the Blood Well!

Eight blood crystals flew out one after another, transforming into a stream of crimson blood.

The blood surged into the spring, and then the Life Spring began to gush forth even more water.

But unlike the original red spring water, this new water was clearer—a deep wine-red.

The water flowed from the top level of the Blood Well to the very bottom, replacing the original ordinary spring water with the wine-red Blood Well.

At the same time, Serea obtained information about the spring water.

Blood Well (Purification, tier 1): A Blood Spring containing purifying power, with the effect of healing wounds and restoring mental strength.

A simple introduction, but after flowing for a while, the springwater stopped. Clearly, Serea hadn’t invested enough blood crystals...

”Forget it, this will have to do.”

With that, Serea took out a small vial from her spatial ring, filled it with a bit of Blood Well, and handed it to Lola at her side.

”Here, give it a try.”

”Huh?”

Lola was a bit puzzled by Serea’s meaning, but as she sensed the kindred power within the spring water, she seemed to understand something. She took the vial.

Looking at the pale red liquid in the bottle, Lola hesitated for a moment. But Serea was her queen; her queen would never harm her.

Thinking this, Lola no longer hesitated and drank the Blood Well.

Cool and sweet—the moment she drank, her mind cleared. Compared to the original Life Spring, a specialty of the ”Jungle Elves,” the restorative effect of the Blood Well was even better, and it also restored mental strength.

”The healing effect is much better than my tribe’s old Life Spring.”

”Uh... aside from that, do you feel anything else?”

”Um...my mental strength is also recovered.”

”And?”

”And...”

Lola thought hard, but simply couldn’t find anything else.

Seeing she hadn’t gotten the answer she wanted, Serea rubbed her chin in thought.

”So the amount of blood crystals was still too little. Looks like I’ll need to add more.”

She muttered, while down below, the other elves had already gathered around, curiosity glittering in their eyes.

Looking at the wine-red spring water, they all itched to try it.

But after drinking, they felt no changes at all, leaving Serea a little embarrassed.

”Confirmed—it’s just not enough. Just a tiny bit of tier 1 Blood Well isn’t nearly enough for elves to evolve into Blood Elves.”

Serea had found the problem. She clapped her hands and announced,

”All right, it’s decided—Lola, from now on, your water for drinking, washing, and eating will all be Blood Well...”

As she said this, Serea looked at Lola. She was stunned for a moment, then suddenly cried out in excitement.

”Lola, your hair!”

”Huh? My hair?”

Lola was confused. She reached up and grabbed a handful of her hair to look at it—and saw several strands had turned silver.

”M-My hair!”

Realizing something, Lola excitedly raised her palm. As she called upon the power of nature, she sensed another force as well.

Bloody threads appeared in Lola’s hand, slowly gathering into a single drop of blood.

Even though she could only condense that tiny bit of blood power, it was already enough to prove her new identity.

Blood Elf!

Silver hair, dark golden eyes, and a command of the same blood power as her kin—this was the power of the Blood Elves!

”It’s the same power as Father’s. I’ve become... a Blood Elf too!”

Lola’s excitement overflowed, and the elves around her also noticed the changes to her.

”That’s!!! King Lorne’s power!!!”

”Lola, you—!”

Each elf’s eyes widened.

But since the Blood Elves’ disappearance, all records about them had been destroyed by the elf races, and the current Darkmoon Tribe was made up of the younger generation.

Thus, none could utter the words ’Blood Elf’.

They only recognized that it was the power of the Elf King—Lorne, Lola’s biological father!

”The royal bloodline has awakened?!”

The elves grew excited one by one, but unlike Lola, who was thrilled to become a Blood Elf, their excitement came from the ”royal” power awakening within the Darkmoon Tribe.

Seeing this, Serea felt baffled and turned to ask the system.

”System, didn’t you say I used too few materials? Why did Lola become a Blood Elf?”

System: Detected that the target possesses Blood Elf bloodline. She can resonate with the power of the Blood Well, so only a little stimulation is needed for her to become a Blood Elf again.

”So that’s it—Lola was originally a Blood Elf, but her bloodline was too thin, so she reverted to a Jungle Elf.”

System: Correct. But, host, please note—because the Blood Elf bloodline requires power from the blood clan to be maintained, you must regularly provide Blood Well. Otherwise, Blood Elves who have evolved may revert to Jungle Elves.

”Got it. No wonder that when the blood clan disappeared, the Blood Elves vanished too. So the bloodline has to be maintained by the blood clan...”

System: There are exceptions. Elves who regularly consume Blood Well have an extremely small chance to give birth to royal Blood Elves, capable of passing on the bloodline. However, the bloodline becomes thinner with each generation until all Blood Elf traits disappear.

”So that’s how Lola became a descendant of the Blood Elf royalty...”

Serea muttered to herself, and now she gained Lola’s latest status.

Character: Lola Darkmoon (Blood Elf Royalty, novice Elf Priestess, Legendary)

Level: 26

Status: Excellent

Spirit: S

Strength: C

Agility: B

Endurance: C

Constitution: B

Charm: S+

Luck: A

Skills: Rebirth (Tier 1), ..., Blood Conversion (Tier 1), Blood Spring (Tier 1), Blood Frenzy (Tier 1)

Description: Blood Elf Royalty, can give birth to weak-blooded Blood Elf offspring.

Compared to before, her level had increased by one, her spirit upgraded from A to S, and she had even learned Blood Frenzy!

”Whoa, how did Lola get Blood Frenzy, too?”

System: Blood Frenzy (Tier 1) is a power only Blood Elf royalty can master. Activating it grants only the lowest ability of the blood clan. Other Blood Elf powers can be awakened as the bloodline is further explored.

”Tsk, a side account blood clan...or rather, a barebones blood clan...”

Serea grumbled, but Lola was royalty. She wondered what ordinary Blood Elves would be like.

”Thank you, My Queen, for granting me new life!”

Lola excitedly thanked Serea.

”No need to thank me. This was one of the reasons I built the Blood Well.”

Serea answered in an official tone.

”In that case, My Queen, I beg of you—please grant this power to the other members of the Darkmoon Tribe so we may better assist you.”

”No problem, but that will take some time.”

”We are willing to wait.”

Lola replied, and the surrounding elves listened as if in a dream. For according to their queen, she was planning to grant the power of the ”royal family” to all of them.

Heavens, that was terrifying!

Such were the thoughts of all the elves present.

But Serea did not care about that. She only wanted to arm the elves as quickly as possible, so she could have a firm foothold in the Corrupted Forest.

Therefore, for the entire Darkmoon Tribe to transform into Blood Elves was a must.

Just as Serea had this thought, an anxious voice rang out.

”Something’s wrong! The corpses in the cemetery have been resurrected!”
