Berserk God of War

Chapter 1623: Chapter 1623: So What If He Becomes Su Old Demon?

Old Xin was momentarily at a loss for words, indeed as Old Yu had said, Fu Wang was blatantly robbing.

This has nothing to do with rebellion!

Seeing this, Old Yu said emphatically, ”Sikong Jing’s martial arts, methods, and courage are all admirable, and Qianwang Holy Tower has great ambition. We must support someone like him to crush their ambitions.”

Old Xin fell silent again; he just didn’t like young people like Sikong Jing.

Even if he had never been wrong, Old Xin just felt he disregarded the bigger picture and didn’t understand hierarchy.... Fu Wang, to him, was an elder and shouldn’t be so fiercely opposed.

In fact, Old Xin had originally agreed to Nanfeng Tianjue’s request to come and persuade Old Yu.

Old Yu, named Yu Liman, was the Earth Decision Maker managing the Demon Beast Market.

When Old Xin arrived at his house, Yu Liman just received a report that the Split Armor Flying Scorpion had been conquered and bought, and of course, another report that the conqueror was Sikong Jing, and finally that Fu Wang had chased after him...

So Yu Liman took Old Xin and rushed over without another word, witnessing Sikong Jing’s counterattack.

And now, Yu Liman wanted to persuade Old Xin to support Sikong Jing.

While Old Xin remained silent, Yu Liman continued, ”Let’s put it this way, Sikong Jing miraculously conquered the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, even if he wasn’t protected by Overlord Commerce, do you think Qianwang Holy Tower could easily kill him?”

This statement made Old Xin tremble all over as he stared at Yu Liman...

Looking at Old Xin’s continually changing expression, Yu Liman said softly, ”Why didn’t he come to visit us Earth Decision Makers, but instead went to the Demon Beast Market to conquer the Split Armor Flying Scorpion?”

”It’s to continue opposing Qianwang Holy Tower, to prove that even without our support, he can ensure their people never return, and things would still be heated.”

”And such a genius, with such courage, isn’t he worth our support?”

Old Xin listened blankly, his expression continuing to change wildly...

Finally, he raised his head and said, ”This is simply reckless! His stubbornness will be a disaster for our Overlord Commerce.”

Old Xin still thought to retreat, still inclined to yield to Qianwang Holy Tower.

Yu Liman rubbed his aching head and shouted, ”Old Xin, have you really forgotten how we carved out a path when we were young? How do you think we’ve reached our current positions? Wasn’t it also considered reckless by some?”

Instantly, Old Xin shuddered again.

”Forget it; you have forgotten the original intention of martial arts. Go back and think about why you’ve found it so hard to improve since reaching the Venerable level.”

”As for Sikong Jing, don’t bother me about it again; I definitely support him.”

After speaking, Yu Liman flashed towards Overlord City.

Old Xin stood there trembling, and after three breaths, he chased after him, saying, ”Old Yu, the heir to the Soul Dominator is just a small non-combatant; he has no future.”

The real reason Old Xin didn’t want to support Sikong Jing was because of the non-combatant status!

”What future? He has already unified with the Split Armor Flying Scorpion Man. His future is already as a Venerable Level Knight of demon beasts; what more do you want? How many can reach this level?”

Yu Liman stopped briefly, rebounding each question.

In an instant, Old Xin was dumbfounded again.

Indeed, Sikong Jing is a Venerable Level Knight of demon beasts, and he can no longer be viewed merely as an ordinary young person.

The goal of many talented individuals is to reach Venerable Level, and Sikong Jing has essentially achieved it!

”Stop deceiving yourself; with the terrifying presence of Su Old Demon as a non-combatant, there’s the possibility of a second one appearing.” Yu Liman said forcefully as Old Xin began to waver.

Upon hearing this, Old Xin looked up and said softly, ”Even if it’s as you say, what if one day Sikong Jing becomes the second Su Old Demon and is hunted by the entire Central Plains, wouldn’t we then...”

Before he finished, Yu Liman interrupted, ”So what if he becomes Su Old Demon?”

Old Xin was taken aback...

Yu Liman actually said, so what if Sikong Jing becomes the second Su Old Demon, and if that happens, Overlord Commerce would be in trouble.

”Everyone knows, if Su Old Demon hadn’t appeared, the Central Plains would already be ruled by Qianwang Holy Tower.”

”A second Su Old Demon would be good too; at most, we’ll grit our teeth and draw a clear line then.”

”But right now, we need to protect and help the second Su Old Demon grow.”

Having said this, Yu Liman said no more and left swiftly.

Old Xin stood there, fluctuating between doubt and suspicion, gradually realizing that if a second Su Old Demon could emerge, at least it could hold back Qianwang Holy Tower for decades.

Thus, Sikong Jing must be supported and protected.

...

On the back of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, Bai Xiaojin suddenly exclaimed, ”Master, when will you teach us Hammer Skill?”

After the thrilling events ended, Bai Xiaojin thought of her real purpose for apprenticeship, eagerly wanting to learn.

To this, Sikong Jing slightly smiled and said, ”Then let’s do it now.”

”Huh?”

Bai Xiaojin didn’t expect Sikong Jing to agree immediately and was overjoyed, ”Great, quickly teach us.”

However, Sikong Jing shook his head and smiled, ”Before that, I will first demonstrate the War Demon Hammer to see how talented you all are in Hammer Skill. Now, follow along as I show you once.”

With that, a heavy hammer appeared in Sikong Jing’s hand, and he began to wield the War Demon Hammer.

After completing a demonstration, Sikong Jing threw the hammer to Bai Xiaojin and said, ”Try wielding it without the subtlety of the War Demon Hammer’s essence and see how you do?”

Upon hearing this, Bai Xiaojin didn’t hesitate and began swinging the hammer, her petite figure instantly bursting with energy.

Sikong Jing and Duanmu Chun were a bit surprised at the sight.

Bai Xiaojin, after just watching Sikong Jing once, was already beginning to show form.

One must know that Cultivation of Martial Skills requires insight within the Green Jade Tube, and it is difficult to understand just by watching once, involving meridian flow and many complexities.

That Bai Xiaojin could achieve such a level, her talent in Hammer Skill was clearly remarkable.

After finishing, Bai Xiaojin put away the hammer and asked directly, ”Master, how was it?”

Sikong Jing nodded gently but refrained from immediately praising, saying, ”Not bad, now... Leng Sha, you’re up!”

He then had Bai Xiaojin throw the hammer to Leng Sha.

The latter’s face turned pale upon receiving the hammer, the dark circles under his eyes growing more pronounced, as he didn’t know a thing about hammers.

He only became an apprentice because of Bai Xiaojin...

Under Sikong Jing and Bai Xiaojin’s gaze, he gritted his teeth and began to swing the heavy hammer.

But it was exceedingly poor...

Moreover, he only had three breaths worth of True Qi, and after just two swings, he was too exhausted to continue, panting heavily.

”I say, Leng Sha, what are you doing? You completely lack talent for the hammer!”

Bai Xiaojin bluntly remarked at the sight. Her personality didn’t allow for comforting others.

Instantly, Leng Sha’s face flushed red with embarrassment, and he looked tearfully confused.

He looked at Sikong Jing with pleading eyes, fearing the latter would now say, ”You have no talent, leave the sect now.”
