Berserk God of War

Chapter 1614: Chapter 1614: Who Hasn’t Been Possessed by a Demon?

”Roar...”

Unable to attack the three due to being restrained, the Split Armor Flying Scorpion was obviously enraged, letting out a piercing scream.

”Ahh...”

Leng Sha and Bai Xiaojin almost simultaneously let out a cry of pain, covering their ears while unleashing their True Qi.

Clearly, the scream also contained a powerful force of the Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness.

At that moment, Leng Sha and Bai Xiaojin felt like they were going to die, especially Leng Sha, whose True Qi could only last for three breaths before being completely depleted.

”Shut your mouth.”

Just when the two were on the brink of collapse, a low roar came from Sikong Jing’s mouth.

Then, the scream of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion abruptly ceased, and the accompanying force of the Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness disappeared as well.

Puff...

Leng Sha and Bai Xiaojin simultaneously spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, collapsing to the ground like a pair of broken dolls. They suddenly realized something and looked at the silhouette of Sikong Jing ahead.

Their mouths dropped open, filled with disbelief.

They were about to fall apart, yet Sikong Jing was perfectly fine and even managed to silence the screams of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion?

Obviously, their seemingly young master had a Martial Arts Realm weaker than theirs.

At this moment... Thud, thud!

In their eyes, Sikong Jing, whom they thought had a slightly weaker realm, took two heavy steps forward. Then, a more unbelievable scene unfolded before them as they saw Sikong Jing reach out and touch the pincers of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

Bai Xiaojin exchanged a look with Leng Sha; just taking two steps meant the pincers of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion could already reach him.

Damn it, not only that, he even dared to touch its pincers?

At this moment, Sikong Jing continued to silently lock eyes with the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

The latter, however, did not move its pincers further nor let out an agitated roar, its blood-red eyes blinking repeatedly while staring at Sikong Jing.

Its eyes seemed to carry confusion, a strong sense of bewilderment.

Finally, Sikong Jing calmly asked, ”You’ve been demonized, yet not completely. Are you regretful?”

Indeed, the Split Armor Flying Scorpion before them was a demonized demon beast.

From the very beginning, upon entering, Sikong Jing had noticed from its breath, as it carried a faint Demon Intent.

Thus, he inquired with Leng Sha for more detailed information about the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

Leng Sha’s explanation was clear; the Split Armor Flying Scorpion lacked intelligence and couldn’t speak, sometimes even going mad.

For a demon beast of this level to be unable to speak? There could only be one possibility: it was demonized and had lost its sanity.

However, there were accounts of it going berserk only days after being bought.

This proved its demonization was not complete.

Otherwise, how could it continue to oscillate between stability and madness?

Furthermore, its demonic power and blood were so chaotic that even powerful pharmacists deemed it unworthy, proving once more its incomplete demonization and chaotic demonic power, causing its entire being to be a chaotic mess.

Now, Sikong Jing personally witnessed it and touched its pincers, naturally sensing it clearly.

So Sikong Jing asked, demonization incomplete, proving the Split Armor Flying Scorpion was struggling inside...

Only those with firm resolve would either fully demonize or not, with no second possibility.

Still, the Split Armor Flying Scorpion continued to keep its gaze locked on Sikong Jing, its eyes filled with dense confusion, pondering why this member of the Human Clan was not human but rather a fearsome ultimate fierce beast?

This line of thought occurred when it had a bit of sanity, but soon it roared again...

A roar erupted again, its massive pincers lifting to strike toward Sikong Jing once more... This was its action after going mad, wanting to destroy everything it saw, be it fierce beast or not.

Bai Xiaojin and Leng Sha, upon seeing this, exclaimed in unison: ”Be careful, quickly step back!”

Yet Sikong Jing remained motionless, heavily commanded, ”Calm down...”

Whoosh...

The enormous pincers halted two inches above Sikong Jing’s head.

Sikong Jing appeared so small beneath the pincers, yet he continued to stare at the Split Armor Flying Scorpion: ”Answer me, do you regret it?”

At this moment, Bai Xiaojin and Leng Sha, still sitting on the ground, stared in disbelief at Sikong Jing; the terrifying pincers hovered just two inches from his head, yet he remained unfazed asking that question...

What exactly was his courage made of?

Moreover, isn’t it certain the Split Armor Flying Scorpion can’t talk, being a Mad Beast?

While they were caught in their rampant thoughts, a cold and frantic female voice echoed inside the cave: ”You, mind your own business?”

This female voice was full of irritability and resentment.

Leng Sha was dumbfounded instantly, and Bai Xiaojin too.

The Split Armor Flying Scorpion actually spoke human language.

They simultaneously recalled Sikong Jing’s earlier words — Do you believe I can make the Split Armor Flying Scorpion speak? —

They thought Sikong Jing was bluffing, yet now they had only one thought: Is this real? How could it be?

They had no idea that Sikong Jing was the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts.

The Split Armor Flying Scorpion might refuse to talk to others, but when faced with the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, no matter how mad, it was instinctively compelled to speak; it was never that it couldn’t, just demonized into being half-crazed and instinctively refusing to speak.

”Isn’t it just demonization? What are you hesitating about?” Sikong Jing, unfazed, asked again forcefully.

As this question emerged, the Split Armor Flying Scorpion roared repeatedly: ”What do you understand, do you know the pain of demonization?”

Even when confronted with the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, the half-mad Split Armor Flying Scorpion dared to shout back...

But within its roar, there was a rebellious defiance typical toward an elder or superior.

At this moment, Sikong Jing laughed, suddenly his eyes also turned blood-red, a torrent of demonic intent arose throughout his body, evidently activating the meridians of the Blood Devouring Demon Beast after demonization...

With an overwhelming demonic intent, he calmly said: ”Who hasn’t demonized before, what is there to fear?”

Upon hearing this, the irritable and spiteful Split Armor Flying Scorpion was stunned, its blood-red eyes focusing into a single point.

At that moment, it seemed to have found a kindred spirit, feeling a sense of resonance.

Sikong Jing continued to circulate the meridians of the Blood Devouring Demon Beast, speaking with a pause: ”If you wish to demonize, then do it. Believe you can regain your consciousness, and if not, so what, as long as you fulfill your desires with reckless abandon.”

”And if you don’t want to demonize, then don’t; have confidence that you can cultivate to be stronger than during demonization.”

”But what do you look like now? You can’t do anything.”

With Sikong Jing’s words, the Split Armor Flying Scorpion’s entire body quaked violently, yet it kept its gaze on Sikong Jing.

If an ordinary person had said such words, it would have meant nothing to it.

But the Human Clan before its eyes was a terrifyingly unparalleled fierce beast, once truly demonized; even in madness, it was compelled to listen, just like the previous War Demon Tiger, a suppression by bloodline!

Thud, thud...

Suddenly, the pincers still hanging above Sikong Jing’s head slumped down powerlessly, crashing heavily to the ground by Sikong Jing’s feet, chains clanging alongside, while its emotions slightly calmed down.

At that point, Sikong Jing spoke again: ”Follow me. If you want to demonize, I’ll help you; if you want to recover, I’ll help with that too.”

His voice echoed extensively within the cave.
