Chapter 1618: Chapter 1618: The Choice to Become a Demon Beast

Listening to Sikong Jing’s words, the Split Armor Flying Scorpion didn’t hesitate at all to release all its meridians.

Since it had decided to follow Sikong Jing, this young Fierce Beast, there would be no hesitation, it completely trusted him.

At the same time, Sikong Jing’s feet emitted rolling True Qi, which extended into the body of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

To restore its rationality, one must first understand the operation of its demonic power, and see how its meridians are arranged after being half-demonized. Only then can they be truly organized to see how to restore it.

Not just rationality, Sikong Jing also needed to adjust its chaotic body.

After True Qi penetrated the body of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, Sikong Jing closed his eyes and controlled the Beast-shaped Spirit Shadow to enter the former’s body.

Suddenly, chaotic forces of Demon Beast power and normal demonic power appeared before him.

Of course, there were also the Venerable level meridians that were chaotic and exceedingly complex after becoming half-demonized, as the meridians change when demonized, but half-demonization only changes part of them...

So, the current state of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion was truly chaotic!

Helplessly, Sikong Jing’s Human-shaped Spirit Shadow could only enter the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison.

Inside, there was also a Split Armor Flying Scorpion, but that was the super Fierce Beast, the Split Armor Divine Scorpion.

”Senior Split Armor Divine Scorpion, please release part of your meridians for me to observe.”

Upon entering, Sikong Jing’s Human-shaped Spirit Shadow immediately spoke.

And the latter, naturally, had no problem, immediately providing meridians to their Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, attempting to match those of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion to help the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts quickly adjust the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

At this moment, Sikong Jing himself, along with two Spirit Shadows, entered a silent state of cultivation.

Thus, his entire body seemed to turn into a mud sculpture, solidified on the back of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion...

Beside him, Duanmu Chun didn’t know how Sikong Jing could restore the rationality of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, but he knew that Sikong Jing was completely immersed in his task after speaking.

And he certainly understood that Sikong Jing’s words made sense.

Fu Wang must have sealed their way back to Teng Mansion and even Bai Xiaojin’s house, now they could only escape towards the outside of the city.

Thinking of this, Duanmu Chun didn’t hesitate to strike the body of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion with a treasure, which then merged with it under Duanmu Chun’s control, speeding them up as they flashed out...

In the blink of an eye, their speed increased severalfold,

Behind them, Fu Wang coldly said, ”Oh, actually trying to escape from the city, you really have guts.”

Saying so, he also accelerated using his treasure, soon flashing out of the Batian Outer City one after another, while outside the city, because of Overlord City’s commercial radiation, the towns were equally bustling...

But none of this concerned Duanmu Chun and the others, he continued accelerating, uncaring.

Of course, along the way, he also attempted to see if he could forcefully Control Soldiers.

The reason Duanmu Chun could become the East Dominator’s Great Dominator Technique was due to his cultivation in the Soldier Killing Array, which gave him a significant boost.

But Fu Wang’s treasure was too powerful, all the way, it enveloped them tightly, not allowing Duanmu Chun’s Soldier Killing Array Pattern a chance to escape the range.

In other words, the Array Pattern couldn’t go out, so his attempt to forcefully Control Soldiers failed.

Fu Wang sneered continually in pursuit: ”Duanmu kid, you think I’ll let you succeed in deploying the Soldier Killing Array?”

No choice, Duanmu Chun could only burn his entire True Qi and keep advancing with the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

Because the Split Armor Flying Scorpion is itself a flying demon beast, its speed in the air was very fast, faster than Fu Wang.

However, Duanmu Chun didn’t have greater strength or treasures compared to Fu Wang, thus they could only maintain a balance in speed between them, unable to truly shake off Fu Wang.

Of course, Fu Wang couldn’t truly catch up with the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

But Fu Wang was not in a hurry!

Because as they chased, they were already in a place without inhabitants, and with his knowledge of the surrounding terrain and other aspects, coupled with the intensity of his True Qi and so on, catching up was only a matter of time.

”Haha, if you were circling inside the city, maybe you could have attracted the attention of strong folks.”

”But you foolishly rushed out of the city, just wait for this old man to take you down.”

Saying this, Fu Wang suddenly unleashed an attack, although he wasn’t in a hurry, he didn’t want to chase for too long, fearing Ba Lian would not find Sikong Jing and investigate, which would shift the pursuit to him.

So, Fu Wang launched an attack to slow down the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

Duanmu Chun’s face remained firm and unfazed, what did it mean to circle inside the city?

Impossible, as Sikong Jing just said, without being able to contact Venerable Ba Lian, the city was Fu Wang’s territory, then they’d only be surrounded by more foes.

No time to think further, Duanmu Chun continued to work with the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, constantly avoiding Fu Wang’s various attacks.

Just like that, half a day passed, and they had unknowingly distanced themselves from Overlord City.

Boom...

Suddenly, a rumble came from the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, after attacking for half a day, Fu Wang finally shot an arrow that hit it hard, causing the latter’s body to tremble fiercely, slowing its speed a little.

”Haha, I’ve caught up with you.” Fu Wang laughed wildly, his figure quickly closing in.

Duanmu Chun’s face changed again, Bai Xiaojin and Leng Sha’s breathing slightly paused.

Yet at this moment... Roar!

A sudden screech exploded from the body of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

A stronger Demon Intent flashed crazily from its body, driving even more intense demonic power and surging forward.

The speed actually increased by ten percent.

And with that ten percent increase, they once again left behind Fu Wang who was laughing.

Fu Wang was momentarily dumbfounded, asking blankly, ”What’s going on, why did the speed suddenly increase?”

Duanmu Chun, also bewildered, thought the Split Armor Flying Scorpion had reached its limit?

But his gaze immediately fell on Sikong Jing; surely the latter had done something to the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

Half a day passed, Sikong Jing likely made some progress.

And Duanmu Chun guessed right, Sikong Jing’s Beast-shaped Spirit Shadow had already reached the Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

Sikong Jing, using the Beast-shaped Spirit Shadow, stared at the twisted Spirit Shadow of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion...

”Are you sure you want to choose to become a Demon Beast?”

”In that case, you won’t be able to speak for a short period, you’ll only follow my orders like an ordinary beast.”

Within the half-day chase, Sikong Jing had already constructed part of the flying scorpion’s meridians within his body.

At the same time, he clearly understood how to truly organize the internal condition of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion.

But it turned out to be slightly different from what Sikong Jing had previously thought...

Now he had two options: The first is to completely discard the demonized meridians and fully restore normal rationality, but this would cause the Split Armor Flying Scorpion’s realm to drop to the initial Venerable level.

Right now, it’s at the Third Realm of Venerable, a sudden drop would weaken it considerably.

As for the second option: continue deep into the Demon Path, Sikong Jing constructs and derives new Demon Veins for it, and of course, these Demon Veins would be orderly, not as chaotic as before.
