Chapter 853: Chapter 853 Fierce Beast, Shadow Moon Rat

”The demon beast of the Golden Body Realm is still invisible.”

Sikong Jing’s whole body felt a lingering chill. The cold glimmer was too bizarre; he could only judge that the opponent’s size was very small yet undoubtedly terrifying.

Just as Sikong Jing remained highly vigilant, whoosh, the black shadow reappeared.

But this time, it wasn’t coming toward Sikong Jing; instead, it bizarrely rushed at the rocky ground behind the waterfall.

At that moment, under Sikong Jing’s gaze, a touch of demonic light finally became visible...

Sikong Jing didn’t understand why it suddenly stopped attacking him and shifted toward the ground, but he couldn’t stand idle. Who knows what this bizarre demon beast intended to do.

As a result, Sikong Jing wielded his Spirit Sword and slashed toward the ground as well.

Boom...

The sword light accurately cut off the demonic light’s path, followed by the demonic light retreating and emitting a sharp screeching sound of ”squeak, squeak.”

However, the pitch-black demonic light vanished in an instant.

The surroundings reverted back to the crashing sound of the waterfall, yet Sikong Jing still felt his hair standing on end all over his body. The creature hadn’t retreated, still lurking nearby, preparing to attack him.

”If I didn’t see it wrong, it was a demon beast in the shape of either a rat or a rabbit just now.”

”This aura is...”

Sikong Jing didn’t go seek help from the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, but instead, he meticulously sensed the residual demonic power aura, using his absolute dominion as the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts over demon beasts to judge...

”Fierce Beast, Shadow Moon Rat!”

After a while, Sikong Jing uttered in a hoarse voice, his eyes full of disbelief.

He finally determined that the vague demonic power aura around him was indeed from a Fierce Beast, the Shadow Moon Rat.

Because inside the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, there’s also a powerful Shadow Moon Divine Rat; Sikong Jing had long recognized all the Fierce Beasts and Divine Beasts there and memorized their auras.

Memorizing the auras of Fierce Beasts and Divine Beasts was the minimum standard that the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts had to achieve.

Besides, he surely needed to remember the various beasts’ living habits, etc., which was his duty, ensuring that under any circumstance he could understand and judge any demon beast clearly.

Just like in the current situation...

”It’s actually a Fierce Beast, a true Fierce Beast.” Sikong Jing’s eyes sparkled.

Because the Shadow Moon Rat seldom had branch bloodlines; whenever it appeared, it was a highly pure-blood Fierce Beast... Of course, it couldn’t be as pure as the one within the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, but it wasn’t much weaker either.

”A Shadow Moon Rat of the Golden Body Realm, which is in its early adolescence, yet still incredibly terrifying.”

”But why is it targeting me?”

Sikong Jing still felt that he hadn’t exposed the aura of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts.

So the Shadow Moon Rat shouldn’t have any reason to target him, as their aggressiveness wasn’t strong.

Suddenly, Sikong Jing’s gaze fell upon the ground from earlier, his pupils shrinking deeply as he said, ”Half of the inner core of a Moon Swallowing Beast, the Shadow Moon Rat’s target is this.”

Sikong Jing finally understood; he had earlier planned to leave half of a Moon Swallowing Beast’s inner core for Gongyang Ying and had casually thrown it behind him.

The Shadow Moon Rat’s latest attack was aimed at this half inner core of the Moon Swallowing Beast.

”It originally thought I was the owner of the Moon Swallowing Beast’s inner core, ready to kill me first and then take the inner core; seeing that the first strike couldn’t kill me, it only wanted to seize the inner core...” Sikong Jing murmured as he judged.

Then, his eyes brightened, he casually absorbed the half inner core of the Moon Swallowing Beast into his hand.

Indeed, the surroundings instantly became cold and solemn.

It was the Shadow Moon Rat hidden in the dark expressing anger and projecting murderous intent, confirming Sikong Jing’s judgment.

Thinking of this, Sikong Jing scanned the surroundings and eerily smiled: ”This is intended for someone else, not for you!”

”Sorry...” Sikong Jing’s voice softly rolled toward the surroundings, then he tucked the inner core inside his clothes, squinting as he continued: ”If you want the Moon Swallowing Beast’s inner core, then come attack me.”

After speaking, Sikong Jing wielded the Xuanbing Spirit Sword, dashed through the waterfall, and landed on the bank outside the waterfall.

He remained highly vigilant, observing the surroundings; he could still sense a faint killing intent, yet his eyes glinted with a righteous divine light; he now wanted to have a battle with the Shadow Moon Rat.

He wished to comprehend the way the Shadow Moon Rat’s demonic power operated; if he could grasp the fundamentals, construct portions of the meridian... then he could further observe the earthly strongest Shadow Moon Divine Rat’s meridian inside the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison.

Thereby obtaining a powerful Fierce Beast Skill, reconstructing portions of a Fierce Beast’s meridian for further breakthroughs.

Many Fierce Beasts in the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, at his current realm, were difficult to comprehend the basics of.

Like the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle, it was because of the presence of Dark Wing Young Sculptures and such that he could comprehend; like the Absolute Night Wolf King, due to the presence of the ”Supreme Forget Love Technique,” he could create the ”Absolute Night Thoughts Technique,” and thus, the Absolute Night Ice Dance Blade.

Like the two meridians of the Golden Divine Dragon, it was through comprehending multiple Demon Dragon meridians that it was completed.

Thus, Sikong Jing was very excited, his True Qi circulating while waiting for the Shadow Moon Beast’s attack.

He didn’t necessarily need to swallow the inner core to comprehend new Demon Beast meridians; he could also observe the opposing party’s attacks and such.

Of course, if he could capture the opponent and study it, that would be even better.

”Squeak...”

Facing Sikong Jing’s provocative behavior, the Shadow Moon Rat in the dark was obviously very angry, a phantom flashed out of the pitch-black cover.

Even with moonlight, it was still hard to discern clearly.

But Sikong Jing could manage it; he had already focused on sensing the Shadow Moon Rat’s aura, yet the power of the Spiritual Platform Sea of Consciousness wasn’t very clear, needing only the instincts of the Beast Heart and the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts to succeed.

At this moment, Sikong Jing roared lowly: ”Here it comes!”

A sword flashed out... hum!

A subtle yet supremely dangerous ripple exploded on Sikong Jing’s sword, followed by the ghost-like shadow disappearing, clearly indicating that the Shadow Moon Rat was repelled by Sikong Jing...

But Sikong Jing dared not be complacent at all, continuing to hold his breath, waiting for its second attack.

Meanwhile, inside him, the ”Emperor Beheading Technique” already had faint sensations; during the momentary contact with the Shadow Moon Rat, although he didn’t discern the opponent’s demonic operation mode immediately, he gained insight.

Nowadays, unlike before, previously dealing with a Little Demon Beast, it took him just a moment to observe their meridian; now, it couldn’t be seen.

The stronger the demon beast became, their meridian grew increasingly complex...

Especially with a Fierce Beast possessing such pure bloodlines like the Shadow Moon Rat, even during its youth, it was unique.

”Here it comes again...”

Sikong Jing spoke again, then thrust out a sword, subsequently another sword follows.

The Shadow Moon Rat, actually issued successive attacks.

Clang clang clang...

The sound of metal clashing on Sikong Jing’s Xuanbing Spirit Sword continuously erupted, streams of True Qi circulated around Sikong Jing and gently exploded, the ripples not large, yet inducing an extremely precarious sensation.

Around the waterfall, somewhere in the dark...

At this moment, two figures were staring at the direction of the waterfall; they were masters hidden within the Overlord Commerce embedded in Batian Valley.

The two watched dumbfoundedly toward Sikong Jing’s direction, looking at each other.

One of them asked blankly: ”What is this one-armed kid from the Northern region doing?”
