Berserk God of War

Chapter 771: Chapter 771: If You Die, The Map Must Break

Since Brother Jing had acknowledged her, she felt obliged to recognize this grandfather.

Because she believed in Brother Jing’s judgment, whether he was considered a villain or a demon, Brother Jing was simply right.

”Ha, hahaha...”

Hearing this, Su Old Demon burst into laughter, tears streaming from his eyes, then he looked deeply at Su Zhenglong.

At that moment, Su Zhenglong, without any further hesitation, took his wife’s hand and knelt down, his voice trembling as he said, ”Father.”

Since Yue Xi had acknowledged him, so did they.

Following on, Su Yue Immortal also knelt down and paid her respects...

Looking at his closest family members, Su Old Demon suddenly drew a deep breath and said, ”Rise, all of you rise, I am unworthy of such honor, I am unworthy ahhh!”

Once more seemingly falling into madness, he thought of Wu Yan’s death, and how he had failed his family!

With his roaring, Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian among others from the Willow Leaf Saint Manor were knocked away, sending up a flurry of snowflakes

In the next instant, Su Old Demon ceased his madness, and suddenly pulled out the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map, speaking earnestly, ”Zhenglong, you are my son. Now, I am passing the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map to you as a meeting gift.”

Upon these words, Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian, who were just about to rise and curse, trembled intensely, then became overwhelmed with joy.

Giving it to Su Zhenglong was as good as gifting it to them.

”However, I cannot give you the entire thing.”

As Su Old Demon had told Sikong Jing ten days ago.

He would not give Su Zhenglong the entire Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map, but suddenly started tearing it, ripping the map into exactly eight pieces.

This scene made Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian’s eyes widen in anger as they shouted, ”Su Old Demon, what are you doing?”

Ignoring them, Su Old Demon handed the largest piece to Su Zhenglong.

He then used the latter’s blood to recognize the owner and set a formation on it, only after finishing those tasks did he sternly instruct, ”Zhenglong, only you can open this piece of the Soldier Killing Map in the future.”

Pausing, Su Old Demon solemnly said, ”If you die, the map will shatter.”

As soon as his voice fell, Su Old Demon tossed the remaining seven pieces of the Soldier Killing Map into the sky.

Swish swish swish...

The seven pieces of the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map instantly flew in all directions like meteors, and finally, Su Old Demon laughed loudly, ”Go and find them. Whoever finds them shall own them, hahahaha...”

Boom boom boom boom...

Within the Glacier Flowing Plain, the previously blown-away powerhouses said nothing and immediately chased after the seven pieces of the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map.

”Damn you, Su Old Demon, what exactly are you doing... I’m also going to chase!”

Liu Shitian, driven mad by anger, also prepared to chase.

But just then, he was firmly held back by Ye Wukui who whispered urgently, ”We’ve already got the biggest piece, we mustn’t chase further, or it might be snatched away.”

Now what was crucial was to protect Su Zhenglong, for trying to chase others may not guarantee success, but possessing Zhenglong’s piece could very well be taken.

And Ye Wukui had clearly seen it, it was indeed the largest piece among all.

It was even larger than the combined size of two others!

Meanwhile, Su Old Demon still ignored them, instead gazing profoundly at his family members and said, ”Zhenglong, Yue Xi, Yue Xian, and Xiaofang, right? I’m sorry, but I cannot protect you... I must leave.”

Upon hearing this, all four were stunned, with Su Yue Immortal quickly asking, ”Grandfather, where are you going?”

Spurt...

In the next instant, Su Old Demon forcefully spat out a mouthful of black blood.

Amidst the shocked cries of concern from the four, he hoarsely replied, ”To the place I must go...”

”Yue Xi, no matter what you encounter in the future, you and Ajing must never give up,”

”Ajing is very good, Grandpa likes and appreciates him very much... I’m going!”

The final voice could only be heard by the four of them. After speaking, there was a swoosh sound, and he disappeared on the back of the beetle demon beast.

In a blink of an eye, Elder Su had vanished without a trace.

The next moment, the beetle demon beast finally released a jade-green glow again.

Meanwhile, Su Zhenglong and Su Yuexi just stared blankly in the direction where Elder Su had left, at a loss and bewildered.

Swoosh, swoosh...

At that moment, Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian returned to the back of the beetle demon beast.

They stared intently at Su Zhenglong, and then their gaze shifted to the Soldier Killing Map he held in his hand, their eyes filled with intense desire.

However, Su Zhenglong withdrew his gaze and coldly stepped forward, saying, ”My father said, ’When a man dies, the map shatters!’”

”If you dare to bully my wife and daughter in the future, I’ll die just to show you!”

As soon as he said this, the cold wind howled through the Northern Mountain...

Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian suddenly felt an urge to strangle Su Zhenglong, but they dared not; they also finally understood why Elder Su had done this—to protect his son.

Giving them the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map but not the whole thing and setting such a trap, he was utterly damnable.

Suddenly, Ye Wukui looked at the clump of black blood that Elder Su had spat out last.

He fiercely emitted True Qi onto the black blood, which immediately sizzled. A flash of cold light appeared in Ye Wukui’s eyes as he said, ”Elder Su has not removed the beast poison. He was merely having a final surge before death, and now he must be seriously injured.”

”Chase him down, force him to remove the ownership of the Soldier Killing Map... Go.”

Having spoken, Ye Wukui controlled the beetle demon beast and dashed out in the direction Elder Su had fled.

As for the other seven pieces, they had no interest in fighting for them anymore...

Now, they only wanted to force Elder Su to remove Su Zhenglong’s ownership. They definitely did not want to be controlled by Su Zhenglong, and if possible, they also wanted to force Elder Su to reclaim the other seven pieces of the Soldier Killing Map.

Not long after Willow Leaf Saint Manor left, the other seven pieces of the Soldier Killing Map also found their owners.

One for Wunian Saint Sect, one for Imperial Dragon Mountain, one for Heavenly Dao Sacred Land, and two taken by other major powers.

And the Overlord Commerce acquired two pieces.

Because one happened to land in the hands of Ju Dan, the highest decision-maker in the East Plain West Land, Ren Dongmeng’s mother. This grand battle was of course unrelated to her; she was just waiting somewhere when a piece of the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map fell from the sky.

Thus, the Overlord Commerce fortunately acquired two pieces.

The Venerable of the Overlord Commerce looked at Ju Dan with joy and slowly said, ”Very good. Let’s discuss rewards after we get back... Now, go chase down Elder Su, and by no means let Willow Leaf Saint Manor catch up.”

Even though they had acquired two pieces of the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map, they were still worried about Elder Su reclaiming them, knowing he had his strange methods.

The other powers thought the same and rushed out of the Northern Mountain.

...

Canglong Small Domain, Yunzhou!

Yunzhou City was on the verge of falling, completely surrounded by the tens of millions of soldiers of the Great Shang Dynasty

Yuwen Guan, fully clad in golden armor, stood at the forefront of the army formation, staring at Sui Yu in full black battle armor on the city walls, and chuckled, ”Very powerful, Sui Yu. We left together, and I didn’t expect you to have reached the Xuantian Realm.”

After a pause, Yuwen Guan laughed loudly and said, ”But however powerful your Martial Arts may be, you’ll still be crushed under my feet, and you are no match for me in warfare either. Get Sikong Jing out here right now.”

The sound thundered towards the heavens, and Sui Yu and Xia Dalian’s faces turned deathly pale.

Yuwen Guan’s army was too formidable to block, absolutely incomprehensible... Previously, to make the Yunzhou army retreat into Yunzhou City, these Dark Wing Soldiers had barely succeeded by risking their lives.

And now, whether it was Sui Yu or Xia Dalian and the others, they all had injuries on them!
