Chapter 753: Chapter 753 The So-Called Divine Beast Essence Blood

”Blood Refining Ancestor, roll back here.”

Liu Shitian and Ye Wukui were greatly alarmed and cursed continuously as they frantically chased after.

”Quick, join forces to set up a formation, to resist the Blood Refining Ancestor.”

At the same time, a mix of shock and anger intertwined among the people of the Willow Leaf Saint Manor.

The strongest among them took the lead to activate the defensive formation, and a jade-green light shield ”buzzed” into existence.

But... bang bang bang!

The jade-green light shield was too weak; under the impact of the blood light, it shattered instantly.

The people of the Willow Leaf Saint Manor screamed in terror, Liu Shitian and Ye Wukui howled nonstop, but it seemed they were about to be too late.

In the shadows, Sikong Jing watched this scene unfold with wide-open eyes.

If Su Yuexi and his father-in-law were not inside, he would naturally love to see the people of Willow Leaf Saint Manor get killed by the Blood Refining Ancestor.

But now, even Su Yuexi was facing grave danger, not to save her would mean death!

He instantly felt an immense urgency, took a deep breath, and said fiercely, ”I’ll risk it!”

As he spoke, he condensed a trace of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts’ essence blood, and fiercely struck the blood light, then immediately turned and fled... and hid the aura of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts deeply in the distance.

”Roar roar roar...”

In that instant, the demon beasts in the Minglong Mountain Range, as well as the Demon Beast Mounts belonging to Willow Leaf Saint Manor, went into a frenzy. They roared continuously and started charging towards the blood light of the Blood Refining Ancestor as if they had lost their minds.

For the Blood Refining Ancestor’s blood light had been tainted with an aura that sent them into a frenzy.

In the eyes of the demon beasts, there was only that trace of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts’ essence blood that could induce their frenzied evolution.

Bang bang bang bang...

One after another, the demon beasts collided with the Blood Refining Ancestor, and in an instant, they were pulverized, their bones piling up like mountains in the blink of an eye. Although they couldn’t even scratch the Blood Refining Ancestor, they succeeded in delaying his dive speed.

Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian, seeing this, widened their eyes in confusion, not understanding what was happening, not comprehending the madness of the demon beasts.

But they were able to catch up.

And while they were both stunned and overjoyed, a jade-green light, faster than them, approached. It was the Beetle Demon Beast, also maddened, howling as it pounced on the Blood Refining Ancestor, biting him ferociously.

In that moment, the originally graceful and beautiful Beetle Demon Beast was like a rabid dog lunging for food.

Boom...

Finally, under the Beetle Demon Beast’s frenzied biting, the Blood Refining Ancestor was severely knocked back, his direction no longer aimed at Su Yuexi and the people of Willow Leaf Saint Manor below.

But even so, the Beetle Demon Beast showed no sign of stopping, continuing to pounce and bite wildly.

”Roar roar roar...”

The Beetle Demon Beast howled frantically, its body also dripping with jade-green blood, quickly becoming bloody and battered.

But still, it kept bombing and ramming like a mad creature!

Ye Wukui was completely stunned, while Liu Shitian asked in a daze, ”Bi Jia, have you gone mad?”

”Quickly come and help me, the Blood Demon Ancestor has the true Divine Beast Essence Blood,” called out the Beetle Demon Beast to the two of them.

Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian looked at each other in astonishment, then without hesitation, they burst into action.

On the other hand, the Blood Refining Ancestor heard this and yelled crazily, ”I don’t have any damn Divine Beast Essence Blood, are you sick?”

But the Beetle Demon Beast ignored whatever he was saying, the scent of the Divine Beast Essence Blood was unmistakably strong.

Boom boom boom...

Another bout of chaotic frenzy ensued.

At last, with the help of Ye Wukui and another, the Beetle Demon Beast fiercely bit open nearly half of the Blood Refining Ancestor’s body, and then with its whole body flashing a jade green light it cried out, ”I have swallowed it, the true Divine Beast’s essence blood.”

Saying this, it no longer tried to bombard the floundering Blood Refining Ancestor, instead, it comfortably digested the so-called Divine Beast’s essence blood.

Ye Wukui and the other, however, did not stop their pursuit, continuing to chase and attack, intending to strike while their enemy was weak.

”Madman, lunatic!” the Blood Refining Ancestor cursed repeatedly, naturally scolding the Beetle Demon Beast, but having lost nearly half of his body, he dared not stay any longer, knowing he could no longer win the fight, he could only flee frantically.

Eventually, he disappeared amid the relentless pursuit of Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian.

When Ye Wukui and Liu Shitian reluctantly returned, they too were covered in wounds, looking extremely wretched.

”That damned thing, still, let the Blood Refining Ancestor escape,” muttered Liu Shitian indignantly.

Ye Wukui took a deep breath and looked towards Su Yuexi and the other experts from Willow Leaf Saint Manor, asking, ”Are you all right?”

In truth, he was also feeling a sense of lingering fear; others dying was one thing, but the newly acquired Sixth Grade War Body could not be allowed to die.

Just moments before, they had nearly been killed by the Blood Refining Ancestor.

Upon hearing this, the Liu Family woman who had previously mocked Su Yuexi exhaled softly.

”Grandpa Wu Kui, we’re fine... I thought for sure we were goners just now, but somehow, all the demon beasts suddenly went mad, and their collision saved our lives.”

Aside from the Beetle Demon Beast, they had also brought many other demon beast mounts, all of which were of course gone now.

In the charge against the Blood Refining Ancestor, they were all smashed into pieces.

A Willow Leaf Saint Manor expert, bewildered, asked, ”Strange, why did the demon beasts go mad?”

At this level, the demon beasts already possessed a high degree of intelligence.

They might follow other commands from their masters, but to willingly sacrifice their lives in madness for their masters was extremely rare.

At that moment, the digesting Beetle Demon Beast replied, ”Of course, because of the true Divine Beast’s essence blood, the Blood Refining Ancestor must have accidentally exposed this essence blood during the battle, its scent is enough to drive all of us demon beasts into a frenzy.”

So that was it...

Including Ye Wukui, everyone nodded in understanding.

But there was one person who showed no reaction; it was Su Yuexi, her gaze ethereally fixed on a particular spot in the dense forest. Even though she saw nothing, she knew Brother Jing was there.

It was Brother Jing who had saved her at the critical moment, the so-called Divine Beast’s Essence Blood carried Brother Jing’s familiar scent.

In the dense forest, Sikong Jing responded to her profound gaze, as if a single look spanned thousands of years, and time stopped at that moment.

”Wu Kui, what’s the next step, keep chasing the Blood Refining Ancestor?” asked Liu Shitian, still incensed over the death of his grandson Liu An, still convinced that the Blood Refining Ancestor was to blame.

Ye Wukui’s brows furrowed deeply as he slowly said, ”The Blood Refining Ancestor is gravely wounded, practically crippled... but I feel that there’s something odd about this matter. It’s very likely not as we suspect, and instead, there might be other forces trying to cause mutual destruction between us.”

”Right now, let’s not worry about the Blood Refining Ancestor. We need to hurry out of the Minglong Mountain Range and head towards the Northern Mountain.”

Liu Shitian frowned slightly but ultimately nodded.

After calming down, he too sensed the possibility that other forces were secretly harming them, meaning the surrounding area was very dangerous.

Especially since they had also sustained injuries...

At this moment, Ye Wukui turned once more to the Beetle Demon Beast and asked, ”Bi Jia, how’s the Divine Beast’s essence blood, have you digested it?”

The latter replied excitedly, ”It’s almost completely digested. Although there’s not much of the essence blood, it contains the Divine Beast’s Beast Intent. Maybe in a year or half, I may be able to break through. Awesome!”

Hearing this, Ye Wukui’s eyes lit up. If the Beetle Demon Beast could break through, then their Willow Leaf Saint Manor would have another beast to defend the manor!

Without another word, he casually swept up everyone including Su Yuexi onto the back of the Beetle Demon Beast.

The next instant, they vanished in the direction of the Northern Mountain...
