My Youth Began With Him

“Stop pretending. I know why you came back.”

“President Su, what do you mean? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Nie Lingxuan said with a smile. Then she turned and looked at her manager and asked, “Do you know what President Su is saying?”

Her manager shook her head and then said to Su Yu, “President Su, Ms. Nie is already very tired from the long flight. She had been resting in her room. Did something happen on the yacht?”

Su Yu looked at Nie Lingxuan for a bit. Then, he turned to An and Gao Ran and said, “You two go look for him first. I want to have a few words with her.”

“Okay.” An nodded. Then, An followed Gao Ran to the third floor and they searched each room one by one.

Nie Lingxuan’s manager excused herself to the washroom so that the two could chat privately.

The two stood a few meters apart and looked at each other.

Nie Lingxuan gave an icy smile and said, “What do you want to talk about, President Su?”

“Do you remember when you joined Imperial Star Entertainment?”

“Of course.”

“Do you know when our company’s anniversary is?”

“Hehe… What’s the matter? Are you testing me, President Su? You’re too childish. If I’m not Nie Lingxuan, then am I someone who looks identical to her?”

“Can’t say. Other than you looking identical to the Nie Lingxuan I know, you have nothing else in common with her.”

“People change. President Su, don’t forget about what you did to me…”

Su Yu froze for a second and he felt guilty for what he did to her.

Nie Lingxuan was the most well-behaved female artist at Imperial Star Entertainment. Never did she have scandals nor did she flirt with male actors. She would not take on sex scenes, nudes, or kiss scenes.

She loved Su Yu with all her heart, but her love was unrequited.

Su Yu thought he played a huge role in her decision to quit the entertainment industry so when he said that to her, he felt lost.

When he saw the hatred in her eyes, he was pretty sure the person in front of him was Nie Lingxuan.

“Huh? Are you feeling guilty, President Su?” Nie Lingxuan saw how still Su Yu was so she stepped towards him.

Su Yu looked up and said, “Yes, I do feel guilty, but love is something unpredictable. There’s no right and wrong. You can’t use my guilt towards you to trap me for the rest of our lives…”

“Yes. How can I trap you for the rest of your life? The one trapping you is Huo Mian.”

Su Yu was not prepared for Nie Lingxuan to bring Huo Mian up, so he was lost in thought again.

Taking advantage of Su Yu’s weak mental state, Nie Lingxuan suddenly leaped forward. Now, there was a dagger in her hand. Before Su Yu could react, she had already scratched his rib with the dagger. Su Yu had tried to dodge but it was all too late.

Su Yu covered his wound with his hand. His hand was dripping with blood.

“So you aren’t her…” Su Yu knew Nie Lingxuan did not know martial arts at all. There was no way she could be so swift.

With Nie Lingxuan’s personality, even if she hated him, she would not use a knife to hurt him. Huo Mian and Qin Chu were right; there was something wrong with this woman.

However, he let his guard down.

“Good reaction. I wasn’t able to get you even with that,” the woman said with a scoff.

Su Yu flew over without saying a word and started a one-on-one match with her.

Su Yu was a top fighter when he was in the army.

Huo Siqian, who was strong, was still no match for Su Yu.

This woman would definitely not be a match for Su Yu.

The woman struggled in battle and was quickly put to the ground by Su Yu.

“Where is Huo Siqian?” Su Yu was no longer gentle with this woman. Instead, he pressed her with strong force onto the ground and interrogated her.
