Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1747: Chapter 648: Romantic Farewell with Her! (Extended Chapter)

”You know I like learning from you in your office, so you’ve stayed back after work just to wait for me.”

”And the last, most crucial point—so it’s more convenient for that, you’re not wearing it.”

Zhang Lihua was still smiling contentedly after the first two sentences, but when she heard the last line, she was suddenly shocked: ”You... you can even tell that?”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”Can’t help it, that’s called being professional.”

Zhang Lihua shot him a sideways glance and teased: ”Alright, it seems you haven’t wasted your time with all those beauties, you really are something!”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”Even though I’ve done ’stuff’ with many women, I’ve never done it with their landlady in a restaurant, especially in their big kitchen.”

Zhang Lihua was immediately a bit troubled: ”You... don’t push it! That’s a place for chefs to cook, and there are even cameras in some spots, no way!”

Zhang Jingdong seriously said: ”You guys specialize in hometown dishes, and since I’m about to leave home, before I go, I want to learn a few dishes from you. Anyone would find that pretty normal, right?”

”You... You’re really annoying... No way!”

Zhang Jingdong placed his hand on her fragrant shoulder: ”Really no way?”

Zhang Lihua hesitated for about ten seconds and finally couldn’t hurdle that barrier, after all, it was her restaurant.

So she rarely refused somewhat firmly: ”...No, stop messing around, I’ve already given you a lot of benefits today, how can you...”

Zhang Jingdong didn’t wait for her to finish and directly started teaching the knowledge points.

”Congratulations host for creatively teaching in a special environment, reward: 2 million yuan!”

Ten minutes later, Zhang Jingdong asked again: ”Possible?”

Zhang Lihua still answered: ”No way!”

After twenty more minutes, Zhang Jingdong asked again: ”Is it doable?”

Zhang Lihua started hesitating now: ”...Why do you insist on doing it there, you...”

Another ten minutes passed, and Zhang Jingdong asked one last time: ”How about now?”

Zhang Lihua finally couldn’t resist: ”...Okay, but only once!”

Seeing her agree, Zhang Jingdong said: ”...Alright.”

Then the two tidied up a bit and left the office, heading to the big kitchen.

It must be said, this big kitchen was indeed very spacious, about seventy or eighty square meters.

What surprised Zhang Lihua was that after entering the kitchen, Zhang Jingdong didn’t immediately move on her, but actually wanted to learn how to cook from her.

Zhang Lihua hesitated: ”You... Are you sure?”

Zhang Jingdong deliberately put on a serious face: ”What, you think your man has nothing but ’that’ on his mind? I’m actually very eager to learn, okay?”

”Besides, I’m going back to Jiangdu tomorrow. Although Jiangdu isn’t far from here and I’ll visit often, hometown cuisine is something I need to eat regularly. Better to depend on myself than ask others.”

”What, don’t you want to teach me the restaurant’s secret skills, afraid I’ll steal your trade secrets and set up my own place to oust your restaurant? Don’t worry, I’m not that kind of person!”

Seeing him talk so far, Zhang Lihua said: ”Alright, since you really want to learn to cook, I’ll teach you some tricks. So, what dish do you want to learn?”

Zhang Jingdong nonchalantly: ”As the saying goes, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. I’ll learn stir-fried shredded potatoes and stir-fried green beans. These are pretty easy to make.”

Zhang Lihua gladly said: ”You’re smart! If you master these two dishes, you really can cook them every day.”

The two then went to the pantry to prepare the ingredients and then returned to the stove together.

During the preparation, Zhang Lihua explained while working: ”As I mentioned, the shredded potatoes must be soaked for at least ten minutes after slicing. And when stir-frying, be sure to pay attention to these points.”

”First, the pan should be hot, the oil should be smoking, always on high heat, and stir quickly, don’t let the whole process exceed two minutes.”

”Next is the order of adding seasonings: add vinegar first to keep it crispy, then salt to avoid it getting watery, and finally chili to enhance the aroma.”

Watching Zhang Lihua professionally and seriously, Zhang Jingdong’s heart warmed.

Though he saw Shangguan Yue cook yesterday at her home, this was after all in her restaurant’s big kitchen.

He could bet that every man dining at Lihua Restaurant wouldn’t dare dream of watching Zhang Lihua cook firsthand.

And yet, he not only witnessed it, he could also give her a lesson.

So, right after Zhang Lihua finished the shredded potatoes, Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but step forward and start teaching her the knowledge points.

”Congratulations host for successfully completing the teaching in a special environment, reward: 2 million yuan!”

The height of the stove was surprisingly just right.

After an hour, the two left the kitchen.

Zhang Lihua shyly and teasingly swatted Zhang Jingdong’s shoulder: ”This is the first and last time, that feeling was too... too crazy, how will I ever enter the kitchen again!”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled: ”You don’t get it, do you? The first time is always awkward, but once you get familiar, you’ll get used to it.”

”You... No! Don’t even think about it!”

Zhang Jingdong pouted: ”Alright, if you don’t want to in the kitchen, then let’s try a new place now.”

With that, Zhang Jingdong suddenly thought of something and snapped his fingers: ”Got it, let’s go!”

Two minutes later, Zhang Jingdong led Zhang Lihua to the staircase between the first and second floors.
