Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1742: Chapter 646: Bringing Her Home!

Song Yunshan nodded thoughtfully and then took the initiative to approach Zhang Jingdong’s desk.

She looked carefully for a moment and then suddenly pointed to a book by Liu Cixin, ”Supernova Era,” saying, ”I read this book back then too.”

Zhang Jingdong’s heart stirred, ”Really.”

”At that time, you lent it to Xu Tao in our class, and then my deskmate Liu Nan borrowed it for an afternoon, during which I read it during a self-study class. Later, Xu Tao mentioned returning it to you, only then did I realize it was your book.”

”So that happened, why didn’t you say so earlier? If I’d known back then, I would’ve just given the book to you, and we would have had our fixed love work right at that time.”

Song Yunshan then pulled out that book and said, ”I still need to tell you a belated sorry.”

”Why?”

”Back then, I got so engrossed in reading that I accidentally knocked over a water bottle and got your book wet. I meant to get another one from my aunt to replace it for you, but Xu Tao was in a hurry to return it to you and said it was fine, so I didn’t replace it.”

Zhang Jingdong seized the moment, ”No wonder I found something was off about the book back then, so you did something to let me down!”

Song Yunshan pouted, ”I’m apologizing to you now.”

Zhang Jingdong smirked, ”Song Yunshan, it’s been years since then. Isn’t your apology a bit late?”

”You know Liu Cixin is my favorite author, and you know how important this book is to me, so do you think your sorry can make up for the emotional trauma?”

Song Yunshan realized he was doing it on purpose and replied, ”Hmph... Alright, tell me, what do I have to do for you to forgive me?”

”Now that’s the proper way to apologize.”

Zhang Jingdong then gazed mischievously at Song Yunshan’s pretty face, ”Do you know what I didn’t even dare to hope for during my high school days?”

Song Yunshan held back her shyness, ”...I don’t know, what is it?”

Zhang Jingdong then took two more books by Liu Cixin from the shelf and said, ”What I didn’t dare to hope for was... sitting by this bedside reading with our school’s beauty, you.”

”So, School Beauty Song, would you be willing to fulfill this wish for me now?”

Song Yunshan was slightly taken aback, clearly not expecting that what Zhang Jingdong wanted her to do was so simple.

But she had a vague feeling that it definitely wouldn’t be that simple, after all, it involved sitting on his bed.

Yet she couldn’t refuse now, so she nodded, ”...Alright, since I owe you, I’m willing.”

Zhang Jingdong stifled a laugh, ”You really do live up to the title of our school’s beauty, truly generous, please...”

Song Yunshan hesitated for a moment, then accepted the book Zhang Jingdong handed her and turned to sit on his bed.

To cover up her nervousness, she opened the book at random and forced herself to read intently.

Zhang Jingdong watched her for a while and then also sat on the bed with a book, pretending to read seriously as well.

For the next half hour, Zhang Jingdong maintained proper behavior, simply reading earnestly.

Initially, Song Yunshan was very nervous, but when she found that Zhang Jingdong didn’t act improperly or even tease her with words, she relaxed a little but felt a tinge of inexplicable disappointment.

However, she quickly refocused and continued to read diligently.

Ten more minutes passed when Zhang Jingdong, still with his eyes on the book, said, ”Oh, by the way, Song Yunshan, I suddenly remembered something.”

Seeing his earnest expression, Song Yunshan asked, ”What is it?”

”Before you left, didn’t I ask you to wear something white? Did you wear it?”

Song Yunshan blushed instantly, thinking that he finally showed his true colors, and muttered, ”...Yes.”

”I don’t believe it.”

Song Yunshan spat, ”Believe it or not, I did wear it!”

”Words are just wind, seeing is believing.”

Song Yunshan gave him a sideways glance, ”If you don’t believe... see for yourself.”

Zhang Jingdong grinned and suddenly wrapped his left arm around Song Yunshan’s waist, ”That’s the line I was waiting for!”

With that, he took action.

Song Yunshan complained in frustration, ”I knew you had ulterior motives for getting me onto this bed!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed heartily, ”You clearly knew I had ill intentions, yet you still decided to go along, seems you secretly enjoy it when I’m naughty.”

”You... Hmph... I can’t be bothered with you!”

Song Yunshan pretended to continue reading.

Zhang Jingdong was amused, and after confirming she was indeed complying, he also feigned reading.

But his right hand quietly began to execute various tricks.

Ten minutes later, Song Yunshan suddenly leaned against Zhang Jingdong’s shoulder and pleaded softly, ”Don’t get carried away, we’re in your house!”

Zhang Jingdong replied meaningfully, ”I’ve been alone in this room for eighteen years. I want to leave your scent here so that whenever I’m here alone, I won’t feel lonely when I smell it.”

Song Yunshan slapped Zhang Jingdong, blushing furiously, ”You’re such a pervert!”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged, ”Geniuses often have a touch of eccentricity; otherwise, they would never discover the truths others can’t nor create the miracles the ordinary can’t.”

”Besides, don’t you want to leave your mark in my territory? After all, you’re the first person to enter my room!”

After hearing this, Song Yunshan suddenly fell silent.

Five minutes later, Zhang Jingdong glanced at the sheets, then leaned over to kiss Song Yunshan.
