Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1709: Chapter 635: Her Special Reward

Zhang Jingdong nodded thoughtfully: ”What stage are you two at now? Have you kissed?”

Liu Yang hurriedly shook his head: ”Of course not! We just started chatting yesterday.”

”When you started chatting doesn’t matter at all. As long as you’re bold and careful, in two days, let alone kissing, even making out isn’t a problem.”

Liu Yang was instantly surprised: ”Have you already kissed School Beauty Song?”

Zhang Jingdong thought to himself, if I tell you School Beauty Song helped me with that thing this afternoon, you’d be so jealous you’d die.

But he said instead: ”You forgot I hugged her and walked down the mountain the second day after our reunion?”

Liu Yang suddenly remembered that incident and then looked eager for advice: ”Boss, can you teach me? I have the guts, but I don’t know how to do it.”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”Don’t worry, leave it to me. After tonight’s gathering, I’ll make sure you get a taste of romance.”

Liu Yang sincerely said: ”Boss, I believe in you. I’ll do whatever you say!”

Zhang Jingdong thought for a moment, then restarted the car, maneuvered skillfully, and soon left the neighborhood.

Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the Meilin Pavilion Restaurant near High School Number One.

Since there were two class reunions today, with over a hundred people, they cleared the tables on the second floor and replaced them with six large round tables, each seating twenty-five people.

By now, most of the people from Class One and Class Three had arrived.

Song Yunshan was also there.

She only found out after arriving that Zhang Jingdong’s Class Three was also having a reunion here tonight.

She initially wanted to find a chance to text Zhang Jingdong to ask if he was coming to the party, but first, when she arrived, there were always people around her, making it inconvenient to contact him.

Secondly, she was worried he didn’t want to attend, but because she texted him, he’d feel obliged to come.

So she didn’t text him.

But she kept secretly observing Class Three’s situation.

Wu Shang noticed this and felt secretly pleased.

Because tonight’s dual class reunion was somewhat organized by him—not only did he arrange the restaurant, but he also clearly told everyone in both classes that they wouldn’t need to pay tonight; he’d cover it all.

The reason he took on this responsibility, aside from flaunting his family’s wealth to everyone, was mainly to court Song Yunshan.

Although Song Yunshan explicitly rejected his confession in sophomore year, he never gave up on her.

He first went to a second-tier university in Shanghai after getting scores for a first-tier university in last year’s college entrance exam, and then he kept probing for Song Yunshan’s news.

Upon learning she hadn’t dated anyone in college and stated she wouldn’t date until after graduation, he decided to wait for an opportunity.

And he thought this party was a good opportunity.

Because he figured after a year of college, everyone should have realized grades are nothing, and the most critical factor is a person’s family background.

He wanted to use this party to showcase his family’s status, making Song Yunshan see himself as the truly compatible match for her, then initiate a second romantic pursuit once back in Shanghai.

At this moment, noticing Song Yunshan’s gaze, he was surprised to find a hint of anticipation and... joy?

At first, he couldn’t believe it, but after observing for a few more seconds, he confirmed her gaze truly had the joyful look of someone in love.

His heart instantly warmed.

Because tonight, up to this moment, Wu Shang had been the center of attention.

First, he arrived in his dad’s million-dollar Benz.

Moreover, many male classmates had just enthusiastically explained to nearby girls how expensive and awesome that car was.

Additionally, he wore a Versace casual outfit tonight.

Compared to other guys mostly wearing shorts and T-shirts or, at best, Li Ning or Adidas sportswear, his international brand completely stood out.

Lastly, he declared something like ”Tonight’s expenses are all on me,” which thoroughly crushed all the guys while gaining cheers from the girls.

So he felt that his performance tonight perfectly warranted Song Yunshan’s gaze.

Thus, he discreetly exhaled and confidently approached Song Yunshan, speaking in what he thought was his most suave tone: ”Song Yunshan, long time no see.”

However, Song Yunshan had been anticipating Zhang Jingdong all along and didn’t pay him any attention.

Upon hearing this, Song Yunshan was slightly surprised, glanced at Wu Shang, nodded politely, and continued looking towards the entrance.

Wu Shang was instantly dumbfounded.

This...

Is it because she noticed he caught her secretly glancing at him, so she felt shy and didn’t dare admit it?

Probably!

After all, she was the esteemed school beauty, always coolly aloof, so she certainly wouldn’t flirt with him publicly.

Thinking of this, Wu Shang instantly relaxed.

Just as he was about to chat with her again before leaving, he suddenly noticed her formerly cool face breaking into an extremely radiant smile.

He swore from the first time he saw Song Yunshan, he’d never seen such a sweet smile on her typically cool face.

At first, his heart rejoiced, believing she was acting with him, and now she couldn’t suppress her amusement.

But quickly, he realized something was wrong because she was clearly looking at someone.

He hurriedly followed her gaze.

Then his heart felt like it plunged into an iceberg in Antarctica, freezing completely!

Damn, what’s going on here?

The person she was looking at turned out to be that dog Zhang Jingdong!

This... why... how?
