Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1705: Chapter 634: Special Punishment for Song Yunshan! (Extended Chapter)

Zhang Jingdong fixed his gaze on Song Yunshan: ”But just before the game, you swore you’d do the punishment without any discount if I let you off by forty points.”

”And now, as soon as I mentioned your punishment, you instantly disagree; isn’t that a bit like you can’t take losing?”

”But... you... if you mentioned a reasonable punishment, I would definitely follow through completely. But what you just suggested... it’s way out of line!”

Zhang Jingdong paused intentionally for about four or five seconds before saying, ”Alright, since you’ve said that, I’ll make it a bit easier for you. How about three minutes, regardless of the result, you end it immediately? That’s reasonable, right?”

Song Yunshan paused and said, ”Mainly, that’s not feasible, right? You can’t just keep your head down; if you do that for three minutes, surely you can’t withstand it!”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”You might not know this, but as kids, we often played underwater breath-holding contests, and I never lost.”

”My longest breath-holding was over twenty minutes, so three minutes now is a piece of cake.”

”If you don’t trust me, I can use this chance to show you.”

Song Yunshan pouted her lips, still very conflicted: ”But... this punishment is really too much. How can you make me... No way, you’d better change it.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”Alright, since you’re really not okay with it, how about we swap roles with the punishment I just mentioned? Is that acceptable?”

”Hmm?” Song Yunshan froze for a moment, then quickly shook her head: ”That’s not okay either! I... you... No way!”

”Even that isn’t okay?”

”...No way! Do you really have to go over the top? I could accept it if you just eased up a bit, but you’re just too excessive now!”

Zhang Jingdong deliberately paused a few more seconds before saying: ”Then suggest a punishment, let me hear it.”

Song Yunshan quickly thought for a moment but didn’t come up with anything.

The key issue was that both were already quite close at the school rooftop earlier, and now the punishment obviously needed to be more intense than that. Following this logic, Zhang Jingdong’s suggested punishment seemed fairly reasonable.

But she still found it difficult to accept.

Zhang Jingdong, seeing her silence, said, ”Have you thought of anything?”

Song Yunshan furrowed her brows slightly and shook her head: ”...No.”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to be somewhat angry: ”Alright, since that’s the case, let’s forget about it; let’s pretend nothing happened earlier. Let’s go find the treasure.”

Song Yunshan thought Zhang Jingdong was angry and suddenly felt a bit panicked.

Though they just confirmed their relationship, she was the pursued side, but these past days with Zhang Jingdong had been tremendously happy, especially what happened yesterday on the school rooftop.

Today’s date was equally perfect; they had Aunt Tian’s familiar pear cake and her blessing.

Plus, they bumped into her aunt at noon, and Zhang Jingdong not only earned her aunt’s respect but also her recognition.

Now, in Song Yunshan’s mind, Zhang Jingdong had entirely become her significant other, and she was even considering marriage with him in the future.

So, she didn’t want to upset Zhang Jingdong under any circumstances and fully wanted to avoid making him angry.

Gradually dropping her internal conflict, she said, ”...Are you angry?”

Zhang Jingdong knew his tactic worked, so he acted calmly: ”No, how could I be angry with you.”

Seeing him clearly angry, yet pretending calmness to not show it, Song Yunshan’s heart warmed immediately.

”...Fine, I accept losing, okay? Let’s do this; I really want to see if you can hold your breath for three minutes underwater!”

Zhang Jingdong suppressed his laughter, continuing his Oscar-worthy performance: ”Forget it; I’m not really angry... thinking back, maybe I did propose a too demanding punishment.”

”Let’s search for treasure from my childhood; if we find it, you’ll definitely be amazed!”

Seeing Zhang Jingdong regain his sunny, gentle nature, Song Yunshan’s admiration and affection for him reignited instantly.

So she wanted to fully smooth over the anger he had earlier.

Though she had never been in a relationship before, her natural wisdom reminded her that any anger between lovers must be dissipated the same day, or it would slowly drive wedges between them.

Especially since Zhang Jingdong would return to Jiangdu in a few days, and they’d be in a long-distance relationship for the next three years; thus, they couldn’t allow such situations or far-off issues.

Proactively resting her hand on Zhang Jingdong’s shoulder, she said: ”Come on, I need to do the punishment... I don’t want to be someone who can’t handle losing, or how could I continue playing games with you!”

”But don’t get too arrogant; you’ve only won once, and I’ll definitely win it back in the future!”

Seeing her determination, Zhang Jingdong said: ”Ultimately, that may have been excessive, so how about it, let’s do the second punishment suggestion I made earlier.”

But Song Yunshan shook her head firmly: ”No way! I already promised that I wouldn’t cut corners on doing the punishment.”

”Otherwise, you might not say anything now, but when we play games in the future, you’d definitely bring it up, and by then, I wouldn’t be able to punish you, and we wouldn’t be able to play games anymore!”
