Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1497: Chapter 565: Carrying the Two of Them Up the Mountain

Zhang Jingdong took advantage of Xu Nuo and Qi Siyuan, and then returned to the photo-taking spot with a pleased look on his face.

He directed the two of them again and took a few photos.

”Alright, take a look at the final shots and see if they evoke the feeling of people in ’Dream of the Red Chamber’.”

Qi Siyuan immediately dragged Xu Nuo over, face full of excitement.

After looking at the photos, Qi Siyuan couldn’t help but praise again, ”Boss Zhang, these photos you’ve taken surpass most photographers; they almost have a cinematic feel to them. I feel our photos are just like movie stills.”

Xu Nuo praised more professionally, ”Boss Zhang, the techniques you’ve mastered are truly advanced. I didn’t expect you to use such a seamless blend of focus, adjustment of white balance, and exposure compensation so skillfully.”

Zhang Jingdong finally felt a bit smug and said, ”Actually, my entertainment company also owns a film company. I’ve spent quite a bit of time on set, so I’m quite familiar with taking set photos.”

Upon hearing this, Qi Siyuan and Xu Nuo both instantly had a realization and felt a new sense of expectation.

After all, in this era, film is still the ultimate presentation of all top-tier art, and anyone involved in art usually wants to have a connection with movies.

Qi Siyuan couldn’t help but say, ”Your company actually makes movies? Boss Zhang, I’m increasingly impressed by you!”

Zhang Jingdong seized the moment and said, ”You guys can shoot the commercial first. Once it’s done, I can arrange for you to join the crew, either as actors or art interns.”

”Although you guys studied oil painting, it’s never too much to master multiple arts, and film is an assembly of various arts. There’s no harm in exposing yourself to it more.”

These words almost expressed everything Qi Siyuan and Xu Nuo wanted to say but were too shy to voice; they immediately felt that Zhang Jingdong was truly wonderful, both emotionally and intellectually.

Qi Siyuan said with some emotion, ”Boss Zhang, thank you so much. When... When the time comes, I’ll listen to whatever you say!”

What she meant was that when she went to work at Zhang Jingdong’s company, she would listen to him entirely, but after saying it, she realized it sounded off.

After all, previously in the restaurant, later when getting out of the car, and earlier during the photo shoot, she had physical contact with Zhang Jingdong.

So, in her heart, she had already regarded herself as Zhang Jingdong’s girlfriend, and what she said was indeed likely to mislead him into thinking along those lines.

Moreover, the crucial point was that Xu Nuo was still present, which made Qi Siyuan blush with embarrassment.

Luckily, Xu Nuo didn’t notice this, because she also felt taken advantage of by Zhang Jingdong, thinking that he was nice to her for similar reasons.

However, she was genuinely interested in films as well, partly because she majored in art, loved photography, and was attracted by what Zhang Jingdong mentioned about film production.

So she couldn’t help but also say in agreement, ”Thank you, Boss Zhang. I’m really curious about film production. If there’s a chance to be involved, I’ll certainly give my best performance.”

Zhang Jingdong initially noticed their interest when he mentioned shooting commercials for money. Thus, he casually brought up the topic of movies as well.

Unexpectedly, they seemed more interested in shooting movies. He couldn’t help but feel amused.

”It seems you truly are interested in making movies. No wonder, since you both study art. Okay, once we’re back in Jiangdu, I’ll definitely arrange it for you!”

Then Zhang Jingdong directed them to shift positions and gestures and took some more photos before they left Taohua Stream and continued to hike up the mountain.

Over an hour later, they arrived at Moxing Ridge.

Looking at the nearby restroom, Zhang Jingdong then asked Xu Nuo, ”How much longer to the peak?”

Xu Nuo glanced up the mountain and replied, ”Moxing Ridge is the highest peak of White Cloud Mountain. It’ll take about twenty to thirty more minutes to reach the summit plaza.”

Zhang Jingdong then said, ”Then let’s visit the restroom first. We should take more photos once we reach the summit.”

Xu Nuo looked at Qi Siyuan and nodded, ”Alright.”

So the three of them went to the restroom together.

When they parted, Zhang Jingdong gave Qi Siyuan a look.

A minute later, Zhang Jingdong came out of the restroom.

Not half a minute later, Qi Siyuan also came out of the restroom.

Standing at the restroom entrance, Zhang Jingdong asked knowingly, ”Why did you come out so quickly?”

Qi Siyuan blinked her adorable eyes, ”I wasn’t in a rush.”

Zhang Jingdong teased, ”Not eager to see me sooner?”

Qi Siyuan instinctively glanced at the women’s restroom entrance, then whispered, ”What do you think?”

Zhang Jingdong continued to tease her, ”I asked not for you to ask me back.”

”Hmph... You obviously know the answer, yet you ask me... I’m not telling you!”

”I’ll give you three seconds. If you don’t say it, I’ll kiss you right away!”

”Wha... What?” Qi Siyuan glanced again at the women’s restroom entrance and said, ”Don’t tease me... She’ll be out soon.”

Zhang Jingdong intentionally became slightly stern, ”Do I look like I’m teasing you? Fine, I don’t need your answer now, just kiss me.”

”What!?” Qi Siyuan quickly looked again at the restroom entrance, ”Some other time? It’s too risky here now!”
