Ye Jinyan and Guan Le felt both shy and a bit perplexed after hearing Zhang Jingdong’s punishment.

Although they had done similar punishments before, back then it was on the ground, and now it was in the water.

Ye Jinyan quickly thought for a bit, then looked troubled: ”How are we supposed to do this punishment?”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”You two are so smart, just use your brains. You can’t expect me, the teacher, to give you all the answers.”

”You have to learn to think independently to make your future studies smoother.”

”Besides, aren’t you hoping to surpass me one day and teach me? If you can’t even get through this, you’ll never reach that level!”

Ye Jinyan was immediately motivated by this: ”Ha... it’s just calligraphy on water, I refuse to believe I can’t do it...”

With that, she started on the punishment.

But after trying four or five different methods, she still hadn’t found a suitable way.

At this moment, Guan Le suddenly said: ”I’ve thought of a way.”

”What way?”

”Let’s work together. I’ll be responsible for holding it steady, and you can write, then we’ll switch places.”

Ye Jinyan immediately gave Guan Le a thumbs up: ”No wonder you’re a college professor, so smart, let’s do it that way!”

Zhang Jingdong also praised, ”Ms. Guan, if your students knew how smart you are, they’d definitely study harder!”

Guan Le knew he was being deliberate and gave him a sharp look.

After more than half an hour, Zhang Jingdong felt they did well with the punishment, so he rewarded them each with a bottle of Life One.

”Congratulations Host on successfully completing the lesson in a special environment, rewarded with 1 million yuan!”

After tidying up, Ye Jinyan immediately said: ”Boss Zhang, shall we continue the competition?”

Zhang Jingdong paddled a bit: ”Isn’t that too obvious? I just finished one round, and you’re immediately proposing another?”

Ye Jinyan glared at him: ”You’re being so petty. I’m just trying to save time, okay?”

”And you didn’t do anything earlier, we were the ones doing the punishment, okay? How can you say that?”

Zhang Jingdong said meaningfully: ”We made different contributions. You exerted some physical effort, but what I sacrificed was... never mind, I won just now, so even if I lose this round, I won’t mind. Let’s continue!”

Ye Jinyan saw he agreed and immediately tossed the water ball to him.

”This round, it’s your turn to defend!”

Zhang Jingdong caught the ball with one hand, and said heroically: ”This time I’ll show you what a real flying fish in water is!”

”Flying fish in water?” Ye Jinyan’s eyes flashed with mischief: ”Heh... Don’t forget there are two of us, and we grew up by West Lake, our childhood skill was fishing. No matter how well you fly, today we’ll catch you!”

Zhang Jingdong boasted: ”You liked to catch fish as kids, but my favorite game was cops and robbers, and I never liked being the cop, always the robber, and they never caught me!”

”Now that you fishers have met a skilled runaway like me, let’s see who comes out on top!”

Guan Le, unusually competitive, chimed in: ”Mr. Ye, since Boss Zhang is provoking us, let’s use some of our old fishing tactics on him!”

Ye Jinyan smiled and nodded: ”That’s what I think too, today we must teach Boss Zhang a lesson, or he’ll be unbearably smug!”

Zhang Jingdong vigorously swam a few strokes, shouting: ”All talk no action is fake, practice without talk is silly, come on, show me what you’ve got!”

Ye Jinyan said to Guan Le: ”Ms. Guan, you drive him, I’ll catch him.”

”Alright!”

With that, Guan Le performed a fish glide towards Zhang Jingdong.

Meanwhile, Ye Jinyan also set off, slowly advancing toward Zhang Jingdong from the center of the pool.

Seeing Guan Le only a meter away, Zhang Jingdong suddenly kicked off the pool wall and made a getaway.

Ye Jinyan seized the opportunity to intercept Zhang Jingdong head-on.

Zhang Jingdong laughed: ”So you really do have a tactic, it’s a good one!”

He said, then suddenly dived underwater.

Ye Jinyan didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to be so skilled in water, and hurriedly dove in to catch him.

Unfortunately, Zhang Jingdong’s dive was deep and fast, Ye Jinyan couldn’t keep up.

In no time, Zhang Jingdong emerged from the other side of the pool.

He wiped his face, feeling quite proud: ”Haha, too bad for you, meeting me makes your tactic useless!”

Ye Jinyan said coquettishly: ”This time you were lucky. Ms. Guan, this time you go left, I’ll go right, let’s both go at him!”

”Okay!”

With that, the two transformed into two angry mermaids swimming parallel toward Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong didn’t dare to be complacent this time; when they were three or four meters away, he dove deep and then sped up.

Ye Jinyan and Guan Le seemed to anticipate this too, Guan Le dove deep to chase, while Ye Jinyan quickly swam back, hoping to ambush Zhang Jingdong when he surfaced.

But they were caught off guard by how long Zhang Jingdong could stay underwater; he didn’t surface for three to four minutes.
