Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1446: Chapter 548: Their Parting Surprise!

Zhang Jingdong saw Tang Tang agree, and immediately grabbed a bottle of Hennessy and chugged it in one go.

Tang Tang was instantly shocked!

Because she thought she drank fast enough, but didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to drink Hennessy like it was water; he took just four or five seconds to finish that bottle!

The most crucial thing is, after drinking, he seemed completely fine.

You know, Hennessy is 40 degrees plus it’s foreign liquor. Huaxia people usually aren’t used to it; if an average person can drink a bottle in one night, it’s pretty good. If someone drinks like Zhang Jingdong, they’d definitely pass out straight away.

Then Zhang Jingdong grabbed another bottle and chugged it again.

This time he drank even faster than before, and he still seemed completely fine.

At this point, Tang Tang finally realized Zhang Jingdong wasn’t bragging; he might really be able to drink four bottles.

Then Zhang Jingdong indeed chugged two more bottles, and his speed didn’t slow down.

With a face full of wonder, Tang Tang stared at Zhang Jingdong: ”So... how are you feeling now?”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”Can I now say what your punishment is?”

Tang Tang smiled intriguingly: ”Looks like you’re not drunk, you’re really something. Okay, I admit defeat, go ahead, what do you want me to do?”

Zhang Jingdong picked up another bottle and chugged it again.

”Your punishment is... we will forever be friends; you’re not allowed to have any improper thoughts about me.”

Tang Tang originally thought the most Zhang Jingdong would do is ask her to leave the bar, she never imagined Zhang Jingdong would straightforwardly make such a request.

Her heart sank, and she glared angrily at Zhang Jingdong: ”You’re way too narcissistic, aren’t you? What makes you think I have improper thoughts about you?”

”Since you don’t have any improper thoughts about me, that’s perfect, consider this punishment as a freebie, but our relationship can only be purely platonic in the future.”

Tang Tang fumed for a while, then suddenly laughed: ”Since you want me not to have improper thoughts about you, does that mean you’ve had those thoughts about me before?”

”It’s precisely because I’ve always treated you like a cousin that I ask you not to have improper thoughts about me.”

”Wait... Zhang Jingdong, do I hold no attraction in your eyes at all?”

Zhang Jingdong detected the anger in her words; he felt if he spoke too harshly, she might get riled up and things might backfire.

He then said: ”Of course not, quite the opposite, as a woman alone, you’re very outstanding and attractive.”

”Without exaggerating, out of Huaxia’s 600 million men, fewer than six wouldn’t be attracted to you.”

”If you didn’t know I was Wang Tao’s cousin, would you be among those six?”

Zhang Jingdong replied meaningfully: ”But there are many things in this world we can’t talk about hypothetically, like if dinosaurs hadn’t gone extinct, would humans still be Earth’s masters? Or if Saddam hadn’t been born in Iraq, would the Beautiful Country still attack Iraq? Because these hypotheticals have no meaning and can’t change anything.”

”And from the first time we met, I knew you were President Wang’s cousin, so many things were destined not to happen.”

”All in all, not to talk about those, we can be very good friends, and since you’re President Wang’s cousin, I’ll show you the respect close as to a real cousin.”

Tang Tang narrowed her eyes slightly: ”Alright, I accept that. So now I’m also your cousin, and you certainly will respect me like a real cousin, listen to me, right?”

Zhang Jingdong was momentarily stunned, then nodded: ”Right, after all, President Wang is my good buddy, so his cousin is also my cousin.”

”Then pour your cousin a drink now!”

When Zhang Jingdong said the above, he felt something was off. Now upon hearing her say this, he instantly realized he might have fallen into her trap.

He then turned to look at the stage, and said: ”But cousin... shouldn’t you leave now? They’re about to take the stage.”

Tang Tang teased: ”Your punishment earlier was for me not to have improper thoughts about you, but you didn’t say anything about having to leave. Besides, I’m your cousin now; can you really kick your cousin out?”

Zhang Jingdong saw the sly glint in her eyes and laughed immediately: ”Cousin, so this is where you’ve been waiting for me, huh?”

Tang Tang felt a bit smug and said: ”Don’t worry, I’m your cousin now. If they get jealous, just call me, I’ll explain to them.”

”Or maybe after their performance ends, I’ll go backstage with you and explain to them.”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile: ”Cousin, do you think they’ll believe your explanation?”

”I think they should, but even if they don’t, it’s fine, since I won’t be the one in trouble in the end, right, little brother?”

”Cousin, are you sure you want to play it this way?”

Tang Tang said calmly: ”Little brother, you don’t get it, do you? When I was little, this is how I teased Wang Tao. You think he listens to me so well because he knows he can’t mess with me since he was bullied by me since young?”

”Now there’s another good little brother in you, so of course, I have to make you go through all the pitfalls Wang Tao went through under my reign because we Huaxia have a very classic saying: ’Suffering is a blessing.’
