Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1407: Chapter 535: Sometimes You Have to Be More Dominant with Women!

Tong Xin never expected Zhang Jingdong to dare to kiss her at this moment, and hurriedly tried to resist.

But her right hand was holding food, so she couldn’t resist with just her left hand.

And Zhang Jingdong knew it was, after all, in the elevator, so he couldn’t be too reckless, and released her after just seven or eight seconds.

Tong Xin wiped her mouth and glared at Zhang Jingdong, ”You... you’re too much!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately apologized, ”I’m sorry, I’m sorry... I just got a bit carried away, it’s mainly because you looked so stunning in that moment, I just... couldn’t help myself.”

”You...”

Tong Xin was about to continue when the elevator stopped at the 9th floor.

She had to temporarily let him go, quickly composed herself.

Not long after, the elevator doors opened, and she quickly walked out.

Zhang Jingdong also exited the elevator, watching her gradually disappearing figure, with a slight, contented smile appearing on his lips.

He deliberately visited the restroom first before heading to their company.

At this point, Tong Xin had just come out of Yan Ning’s office.

As soon as she saw Zhang Jingdong, a hint of embarrassment and playful reproach flashed through her eyes.

Yet she had to force a slight smile, ”Boss Zhang, Mr. Yan said you can go straight in when you arrive.”

Zhang Jingdong gazed at her intently, ”Still angry?”

Tong Xin immediately panicked, subconsciously glancing around.

Seeing no one was paying attention to them, she breathed a sigh of relief, ”What are you talking about? Mr. Yan is waiting for you inside.”

Zhang Jingdong continued, ”Forgive me this time, I was purely carried away just now, I absolutely didn’t mean to take advantage of you.”

”What!?” Tong Xin was immediately infuriated by his thick-skinned nature, ”Do you believe that yourself?”

Zhang Jingdong said earnestly, ”Of course I do believe it, haven’t we agreed to be honest with each other and not to lie? So I really didn’t deceive you!”

Tong Xin glanced around again, not wanting to continue this conversation here, so she said, ”Forget it, let’s not talk about it now, you should go in, Mr. Yan might get impatient.”

Zhang Jingdong naturally said, ”Asking for your forgiveness is the most important thing for me right now.”

Tong Xin instantly shot him a glare, ”Stop it, we’re in our company, go quickly, or everyone will think something’s up!”

Zhang Jingdong seized the opportunity to say, ”Then you have to promise to forgive me? Besides, it’s not like I committed a huge mistake, we’re almost confirmed as a couple now, so me kissing you isn’t crossing the line.”

Tong Xin immediately fumed, ”Zhang Jingdong, you... your skin couldn’t be any thicker... you have to stop kidding around, go in now!”

”If you don’t forgive me, then I won’t go in!”

Zhang Jingdong simply started playing the rogue.

”You... you’re being unreasonable!”

”Who’s really being unreasonable between us? I already know it was wrong, and I’ve already apologized to you. Whatever punishment you think I deserve, just tell me, I’ll definitely comply, as long as you forgive me.”

”I... I don’t want to... you go in now, people are watching us!”

”So, do you forgive me or not?”

”You...”

Tong Xin was completely at a loss now and could only say, ”Alright, I’ll temporarily forgive you, okay? Go in now!”

Zhang Jingdong wouldn’t fall for it, ”Forgiveness means forgiveness, not forgiveness means not forgiveness, what do you mean by temporarily forgiving me? Are you planning to settle scores later?”

”Zhang Jingdong, you are just...”

Tong Xin’s voice instinctively raised due to her anger, and as a result, she noticed many people looking their way.

So she quickly recovered her composure and said with a smile, ”Alright, I forgive you, and I promise not to hold it against you later, is that enough?”

Seeing Zhang Jingdong was about to speak, she immediately said, ”You better go in right away, or else I might change my mind!”

Hearing this, Zhang Jingdong deliberately raised his voice, ”Alright, if that’s the case, then thank you, Secretary Tong, for your help!”

With that, he went straight into Yan Ning’s office.

At this moment, Yan Ning was still at her desk looking over some files.

Zhang Jingdong walked directly around the desk to her side, ”Mr. Yan, you work way too hard, with this level of diligence, I’ll be able to retire and live off you in at most three years!”

Yan Ning immediately burst into laughter, ”Great, I’m hoping you’d live off me now, so that I can lock you in a villa, kept away from any outside temptations.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”Why do you have complaints again, seems like my teaching quality wasn’t high enough last night, not to worry, I’ll give you a private session right now!”

With that, he grabbed Yan Ning and headed straight for the lounge.

Even though Yan Ning felt extremely embarrassed, this time she didn’t resist at all.

Soon after, with a ”bang,” the lounge door closed.

Soon there were faint sounds of reading aloud coming from inside.

”Congratulations, Host, on successfully completing the teaching session in a special environment, a reward of 2 million yuan!”

Outside the office, no one else heard, but Tong Xin, firstly because she was the closest, and secondly because she had been secretly paying attention to the situation inside.

So she quickly figured out what was happening inside.

Honestly, she felt a bit jealous.

After all, she and Zhang Jingdong had mutually confessed their feelings for each other, and in the elevator just now, Zhang Jingdong had taken her first kiss.

But she quickly accepted the situation because Yan Ning was not just her boss, who showed her recognition and kindness, but also the person who was with Zhang Jingdong before her, so she really had no right to say anything.

Then she shifted all her emotions onto someone.

Hmph, he’s truly insufferable!
