Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1408: Chapter 535: You Have to Be a Bit More Dominant with Women! (Extra-Long Chapter)

Though she thought this way, she couldn’t muster any hatred towards Zhang Jingdong.

Moreover, as she listened, an inexplicable heat quietly surged in her heart.

At some moment, she even wanted to experience what that thing was really like.

After all, her former boss was such an extraordinary, unparalleled perfect woman, and now she was willing to do that thing with him in the company, which shows how enticing that thing is.

Half an hour later, Zhang Jingdong and Yan Ning left the lounge together.

At this time, Yan Ning’s suit had changed from black to white since Zhang Jingdong came in.

Yan Ning glared at Zhang Jingdong: ”It’s all your fault, needing so long! The food’s taste surely isn’t at its best now!”

Zhang Jingdong pouted: ”Well, I am so wronged! At the 23rd minute of the explanation, I originally thought of taking a break to eat, but at that time your eager eyes for knowledge were so compelling, I had to finish the remaining points.”

Yan Ning’s cheeks instantly flushed: ”Come on, I wasn’t! I was just hungry.”

Zhang Jingdong laughed heartily: ”Alright alright... I believe you’re hungry, okay?”

The two came to the sofa area, unpacked all the meal boxes skillfully, and started eating while chatting.

Yan Ning then picked a piece of braised pork for Zhang Jingdong and said: ”I heard you want to make mobile phones?”

Zhang Jingdong was initially surprised but then quickly reacted and joked half-seriously: ”I didn’t expect that in less than half a month, your relationship with Mr. Ye is even better than ours!”

Yan Ning hurriedly said: ”It’s not what you think, I’m just told by a friend in the mobile phone industry that Mr. Ye went to their company for inspection. I think such a big thing she surely wouldn’t do alone, and now she virtually counts as working for you, so I guessed it must be your idea.”

Zhang Jingdong suddenly realized, nodded, and said: ”Okay, I indeed plan to make mobile phones.”

Yan Ning blinked her beautiful eyes: ”You said ’want’, so you sent Mr. Ye for inspection not to decide whether to make it after seeing the results, but already decided to make it?”

”That’s right.”

Yan Ning hesitated: ”But you need to understand, even if you work hard and invest a lot of money, it’s tough to shake those big companies in the current domestic mobile phone market.”

Zhang Jingdong picked up Yan Ning’s cup and took a sip of water.

”Indeed, barring any accidents, even if I exhaust all my resources and money, it’s hard to beat those big companies.”

”However... I believe there will be accidents happening in the next few years, so I need to start laying the foundation now, and when the time is right, I’ll strike behind those companies.”

Yan Ning was a bit confused after hearing the first sentence, but when the latter part came, she immediately realized Zhang Jingdong wasn’t joking but must have known something unknown to her, and he was seriously determined to make mobile phones.

She curiously asked: ”What does ’accident’ mean?”

Zhang Jingdong answered indirectly: ”Before saying that, I want to ask you a question.”

”Go ahead.”

”Back when beepers were popular, do you know which company had the largest market share in beeper production?”

Yan Ning quickly recalled and said: ”It should be Motorola; after all, beepers were invented by them.”

Zhang Jingdong gave her a thumbs up: ”As expected of Mr. Yan, really well-informed!”

Although being complimented, Yan Ning rolled her eyes: ”Come on... Do you think only you know everything?”

Unable to resist her charming demeanor, Zhang Jingdong leaned over and gave her cheek a quick kiss.

”Hey, you have oil on your lips... annoying!”

Yan Ning said it was annoying, but her face showed shyness and joy, and she didn’t even wipe where he kissed her.

Zhang Jingdong laughed, then handed her a tissue.

Yan Ning directly leaned her face towards him: ”You wipe it for me!”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled and helped her wipe, then seized the opportunity to kiss her on the lips.

This made Yan Ning’s face blush even more: ”Alright, just continue talking!”

Zhang Jingdong continued: ”I’ll ask you again, in our domestic market now, which company has the largest share in mobile phones?”

This time, Yan Ning responded without hesitation: ”Of course Nokia, if I’m not mistaken, they hold over 40% of the market share, and the second place doesn’t even have 20%.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded approvingly: ”That’s correct. Let me ask again, why did Motorola manage to lead during the beeper era, but couldn’t compete with Nokia in the mobile phone era?”

Yan Ning was taken aback by this question.

She pondered for a full minute before saying: ”I think there are two main reasons. First, with technological advancement, Motorola’s proud beepers became obsolete.”

”Secondly, precisely because Nokia didn’t have the prowess in making beepers like Motorola, when mobile phones emerged, they dedicated themselves wholly to mobile phones, achieving surpassing growth.”

Zhang Jingdong clapped for Yan Ning: ”Mr. Yan, I’m genuine in saying your summary skills and market insight, combined with years of business experience, would leave most corporate owners far behind.”

Though happy, Yan Ning subtly sensed Zhang Jingdong was getting to his point, so she said: ”Even as capable as I am, I’m no match for you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t need to ask why you want to make mobile phones now.”
