Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Ye Jinyan cheerfully said, ”Alright, no problem!”

Perhaps because she found a new investment direction, Ye Jinyan was in a great mood and playfully said, ”Boss Zhang, we’re about to conquer new territories for you, you can’t let the horse run and not let it eat grass, right?”

Zhang Jingdong immediately laughed, ”Looks like the grass earlier wasn’t enough, no worries, your man here is a professional horse breeder, I’ve got plenty of grass, no way I’ll let you guys go hungry!”

With that, he started a new round of tutoring.

...

It was almost 9 in the morning when Ye Jinyan and Guan Le lazily woke up.

Zhang Jingdong cuddled with them for a while, went to a morning class together, and then had a sumptuous brunch.

After eating, he rested with them for a while before leaving the hotel to go to the company.

He had just dealt with some documents when the desk phone suddenly rang.

He picked up the mug from the desk, took a sip of water, and answered the call, ”Hello...”

This time, Lin Qingci’s excited voice came over the phone, ”Boss, Jiang Lai’s video views have exceeded 10 million, and her followers have also surpassed 2 million!”

Zhang Jingdong felt a rush of warmth, ”Really? Haha, that’s fantastic!”

As he spoke, he picked up the mouse, logged into the website, and opened Jiang Lai’s personal profile.

Sure enough, her video views had reached over 11 million, and her followers had reached 2.21 million.

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”Impressive, right, President Lin, with this, I’ve won our bet!”

Lin Qingci was both shy and happy, ”Yes, yes... you did win! But this is the happiest loss I’ve ever had.”

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but smirk, ”Is it because you know the punishment I prepared for you will be special?”

”Tch... not at all, it’s because our website gained a lot of users from Jiang Lai’s sudden popularity.”

”President Lin, if you say that, I’ll be heartbroken.”

”But... that’s the truth.”

Zhang Jingdong feigned heartbreak, ”So you don’t like my punishment at all? Do you look down on my classes that much?”

”Boss Zhang, you... alright, maybe a little, is that okay?”

”President Lin, if you keep that attitude, I might not go easy on you later.”

Lin Qingci instantly became timid, ”Alright, alright... Boss Zhang, I was wrong, okay? I love your classes the most, I was just too shy to admit it earlier, the truth is I’m so happy because I lost the bet and now have a legitimate reason to receive your punishment, are you satisfied?”

Zhang Jingdong laughed, ”Haha, since you love my classes so much, why don’t you come over now? Oh, by the way, what color are you wearing today?”

”...Purple.”

”What style?”

”...Lace thong.”

”Tsk tsk, looks like you’ve been prepared all along? And here you were playing hard to get.”

”I... I didn’t, I was just accepting my loss.”

”Still being stubborn, alright, why don’t you take it off now.”

”What!?” Lin Qingci blushed, ”Boss Zhang, don’t do this, what if someone sees?”

”Don’t worry, who in the company would dare to peek at you now?”

”But...”

”No buts, follow the order.”

”...Fine...so bossy!”

”You only realize your man is bossy now, haha, get ready and come over quickly!”

After hanging up, Zhang Jingdong watched Jiang Lai’s video for a while longer.

Then there was a knock on the door outside.

Zhang Jingdong let go of the mouse and leaned back in his chair, ”Come in!”

Soon the door opened, and Lin Qingci walked in gracefully.

Today she wore a white dress, with the hem nearly twenty centimeters above the knees, if she just bent over a little...

Zhang Jingdong deliberately remained calm and pointed to the seat opposite him, ”Sit!”

Lin Qingci restrained her embarrassment, walked over, and sat down.

Zhang Jingdong asked seriously, ”What is the current number of registered users on the website?”

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong wasn’t rushing things, Lin Qingci secretly sighed in relief.

She replied, ”Currently it’s 9.2 million, but this number is growing very fast, it should break 10 million in at most two days.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded in satisfaction, ”Good, are the advertisements on all channels now?”

”Yes, the total budget is 6 million, and all the platforms with good traffic have been covered.”

”How about the online forum trolls I mentioned earlier?”

”Also done, that budget is 800,000, covering all the popular forums.”

Zhang Jingdong thought for a moment and said, ”What you need to understand now is that, for a website, 10 million users is a very significant milestone.”

”Below 10 million and above 10 million require completely different strategies.”

”Simply put, when the user count is below 10 million, we can use any unorthodox means, with user growth as the primary goal.”

”But when the user count exceeds 10 million, we need to start focusing on retention, attracting users with quality content, filtering users, and then further increasing user numbers, so our website can develop more healthily and sustainably.”

Lin Qingci nodded in great agreement, ”I understand, boss, don’t worry, I will strictly follow your guidance.”

Zhang Jingdong glanced at the computer and then said, ”Jiang Lai has proven the site’s potential to everyone, proving that on our site, you can become an internet sensation with millions of followers.”
