Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

The result is predictable...

Thinking about this, even though Ye Jinyan is a wealthy heiress, she can’t help but feel a chill in her heart.

It took her a full half-minute to turn to Zhang Jingdong: ”Dear, I understand now. I won’t invest in this project.”

Seeing her reaction, Zhang Jingdong laughed and said, ”To avoid regretting it if the project succeeds in the future, let’s make a bet. If this project doesn’t fail within two years, I lose. But if it fails within two years, I win.”

”As for the stakes, if I lose, I’ll give you a hundred million, but if I win, you have to give me a child. How about it?”

Ye Jinyan was immediately amused: ”I’ll win either way, and it’s a huge win! Sure, I’ll bet with you, but you better not go back on your word by then!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed heartily: ”I’m more worried about you backing out. Having a prestigious heiress like you give me a child, that would be a real big win for me!”

Saying this, he suddenly thought of something and turned to Guan Le: ”Ms. Guan, you can participate as a witness. Which side are you on?”

Guan Le hesitated slightly before saying, ”Of course, I’m on Mr. Ye’s side!”

”Great, so if I win, you and Mr. Ye each give me a child. If I lose, I’ll give each of you a hundred million. Is that okay?”

Guan Le smiled and shook her head: ”I don’t need a hundred million; just promise me one request when the time comes.”

”No problem, it’s settled then!”

As he spoke, he picked up his wine glass again: ”Come, for our grand gamble tonight, let’s have a drink!”

Ye Jinyan and Guan Le also raised their glasses in unison.

The three clinked their glasses and each drank it all in one go.

Ye Jinyan couldn’t help but ask: ”Do you really think Chen Tianqiao’s project can’t last two years?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”For a top-tier hardware and software project like this, it’s not just a matter of money, even if he’s the wealthiest in Huaxia, or even if the top ten richest people in Huaxia pooled their resources, they couldn’t make it work. This is about technology and backing too.”

Ye Jinyan nodded thoughtfully: ”…Alright, I understand.”

Zhang Jingdong then pulled Ye Jinyan close by the shoulders: ”Darling, remember one thing, truly top-notch projects must meet certain criteria.”

”First, it has to align with the demands of the era, and this might even be the most important point.”

”Because our Huaxia is different from any Western country, our economic system is primarily state-owned with private economy as a supplement.”

”Only when the state needs the development of the private sector can we engage in some relatively core projects.”

”And when there isn’t such a policy from the state, we can’t even consider these core projects.”

”That’s why I believe Shengda Network Company’s project won’t last beyond two years; it doesn’t align with the times, it lacks policy support, and it harms the interests of many state-owned enterprises.”

At this moment, Ye Jinyan felt a sense of enlightenment and looked at Zhang Jingdong with admiration in her eyes: ”Darling, what you said is truly insightful!”

Guan Le couldn’t help but praise: ”Boss Zhang, to be honest, I thought your strategic vision was about 80%, but with what you just said, I think you deserve at least 90.”

Receiving their compliments, Zhang Jingdong felt a bit smug: ”This is just the beginning, hear me out completely before praising me more!”

Ye Jinyan and Guan Le instantly sat up straight, eager to learn.

”Boss Zhang, please, continue!”

”We’re all ears!”

Zhang Jingdong continued: ”The second point is whether the project solves consumer pain points.”

”No matter how gloriously they boast about a project, for it to have a future and be viable, ultimately, it needs to directly or indirectly solve consumer pain points.”

”Counterexamples include the tulip mania in the Netherlands and the orchid scam in our country, and with the rapid development of China’s internet in the future, many similar scams will emerge.”

”Considering how much easier those meticulously packaged internet scams are to pull off compared to those obvious scams like tulips or orchids, which have mismatched prices and real value.”

Zhang Jingdong picked up the wine bottle and filled their glasses again.

”The last point is to look at the resources the entrepreneur has and their competition, especially the latter.”

”Why have our Huaxia internet companies begun to stand out, even holding their own against international giants? Because their main competitors are foreign companies.”

”On the surface, they have fierce battles with foreign companies, but behind the scenes, the government secretly aids them by hindering those foreign companies through various policies.”

”However, when entrepreneurs develop projects to compete with state-owned enterprises, like Shengda Network Company’s Shengda Box, their future competitors are legitimate regular forces. Additionally, the rules are set by their competitors, so such projects should definitely not be considered.”

Ye Jinyan at this point willingly took Zhang Jingdong’s hand and exclaimed: ”Darling, listening to you is better than reading ten years of books. I’ve learned a lot and will surely adhere to what you’ve said in the future.”

Zhang Jingdong saw that she truly had taken his words to heart, then mischievously said: ”I was about to take you both to the bedroom for a lecture earlier, but you stopped me. Now, do you owe me a teacher’s fee?”

Ye Jinyan instantly understood and, with a charming look, said: ”But what if I don’t have any money?”

Saying this, she actually got up and sat on Zhang Jingdong’s lap.

Zhang Jingdong felt a surge of warmth and lifted Ye Jinyan’s delicate chin with his finger: ”No money? Then it looks like a spanking is in order!”

Ye Jinyan coyly bit her lip: ”That would hurt so much! You don’t care about me at all.”

”Don’t worry, I won’t use my hand, I’ll use something else...”

”Use what? Here?”
