Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

During the subsequent three-plus hours, Zhang Jingdong gave Ye Jinyan and Guan Le three full lessons.

Ye Jinyan was especially attentive and proactive in learning because Zhang Jingdong had helped her recover an investment worth hundreds of millions.

Meanwhile, Guan Le had just officially become Zhang Jingdong’s Inner Chamber Disciple a few days prior, and she was in an extremely eager-to-learn phase, so she was also very diligent in her studies.

As a teacher, Zhang Jingdong was naturally in high spirits seeing his students so enthusiastic, so he went all out when teaching them.

He not only used a variety of teaching methods but also changed several teaching locations to keep them engaged.

For example, the balcony, the bathroom, the pool table in the entertainment room…

It wasn’t until three in the morning that Zhang Jingdong satisfactorily concluded the teaching session.

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong said to Ye Jinyan, ”Darling, although we can’t invest in Shengda Box, I think your way of thinking is correct.”

”If in the future there’s a platform that can simultaneously link various forms of entertainment like movies, e-commerce, games, music, then that platform will certainly become a new blue ocean.”

”Although Shengda Box can’t achieve this, I think there’s something that perhaps can.”

Ye Jinyan and Guan Le both looked curious immediately.

Ye Jinyan felt a warmth in her heart: ”What is it?”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong picked up the mobile phone from the bedside and shook it in front of them, ”I think it’s the mobile phone.”

”Mobile phone!?” Ye Jinyan instantly looked incredulous: ”But this phone… it’s too small, right? How could it possibly carry so many things?”

Zhang Jingdong replied seamlessly: ”The phone is indeed very small now, but I believe that with the development of technology, its screen will soon become larger.”

”Do you know about 3G technology?”

”I think I’ve heard of it, but I don’t quite remember what it’s for?”

”Its full name is the third generation mobile communication technology, referring to cellular mobile communication technology that supports high-speed data transmission. Some of the phones we have now that can access the internet use 2G technology. Once 3G becomes widespread in the future, it will also be heavily applied to mobile phones, and there will even be 4G.”

”I’ve read some authoritative opinions in scientific magazines saying that 4G technology can be widespread in at most ten years, and once it’s applied to mobile phones, we can surf the internet, play games, visit forums, and watch videos on computers via mobile phones.”

Ye Jinyan suddenly brightened up: ”Is this… true? Then by that time it’s almost like holding a Shengda Box in your hand.”

”Exactly, that’s why I think Shengda Box really has no future, because compared to mobile phones, its disadvantages are just too many.”

Ye Jinyan hesitated a bit, saying: ”But this… it’s too unbelievable, can mobile phones really become that powerful by then?”

Zhang Jingdong patiently replied: ”Technology is developing way too fast now; many things we didn’t even dare to imagine before could be realized in three to five years, or even within one or two years.”

”Not to mention the distant future; just talking about the internet, ten years ago could you have believed that now we can not only play games online but also buy things online? Absolutely unbelievable, but now it’s come true.”

”Three or four years ago, people’s impression of mobile phones was still those large bricks, needing to pull out the antenna to connect when making calls, and now, what have phones evolved into!”

Ye Jinyan quickly pondered for a moment, then said: ”So you want to invest in a mobile phone company?”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and kissed Ye Jinyan: ”Ye truly deserves the title of Mr. Ye, so smart.”

”But you’re only half right. My real plan is to first invest, then take the opportunity to really understand the situation in the mobile phone industry, and afterwards, I plan to start my own mobile phone company.”

”You want to get involved and start a mobile phone company?” Ye Jinyan couldn’t help furrowing her delicate eyebrows: ”But from what I know, not only does a mobile phone company require substantial investment, the current market competition is also extremely fierce. Additionally, companies like Nokia, Samsung, and Motorola have already occupied most of the market, making the profit margins for emerging mobile phones very unpromising.”

Zhang Jingdong replied casually: ”I said I want to do it, but not right away. I already said earlier that new technology is rapidly developing, and the traditional mobile phone market will soon welcome a new wave of reshuffling. I’ll seize this opportunity to establish a mobile phone company.”

”As for profits, don’t worry about them. In my view, the mobile phone is just a platform in the future. Even if it doesn’t generate any profit, I can produce many applications on it, and then make money back.”

”To sum it up, I want to create a project similar to Shengda Box in the form of a mobile phone.”

Ye Jinyan took almost two minutes to think before saying, ”Although I still don’t quite understand how you’ll achieve it, I believe the prospect of this project is very promising.”

At this moment, Guan Le also said, ”I’ve attended some symposiums in the mobile phone industry before and heard some related scientists talk about the development of mobile phone industry technology. Darling, I think the trend you’ve just mentioned is very correct; mobile phones will definitely be a very promising industry in the future.”

Zhang Jingdong then lovingly kissed Guan Le and said, ”Haha, with Guan Le’s endorsement, my confidence is even greater.”

”Here’s the plan, your task in the future is to inspect all the mobile phone companies nationwide. I’ll mention two key ones: Meizu Mobile Company and Bodao Mobile Phone Company.”

”As long as they’re willing to sell shares, the price doesn’t matter.”
