Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 489: Chapter 229 Their Service is Simply Amazing! (Large Chapter, please subscribe)_2

The more impressive the person, the more their son wants to prove himself, and the less he wants to be under his daddy’s constant supervision all the time.

Zhang Jingdong decided to venture into real estate not to make money, but to gain connections and resources.

Because his net worth has already reached over a hundred million, and judging by the current momentum, it will soon reach a billion or even tens of billions.

And when a person has so much money but no connections and resources, it’s like a child running on the streets holding gold, calamity might befall him at any minute.

After all, it’s no crime in Chu to have jade, but it is to hold it if others know.

Moreover, he feels that the identity of a real estate company owner will also facilitate his future plans to flex even bigger and more impressive B.

Don’t overthink it; it’s just meant literally.

But to establish a real estate company itself requires a lot of connections and resources, so a suitable person must be found to help.

And right now, Wang Tao is undoubtedly the most suitable candidate.

On one hand, the orderly operation and thriving business of the bar have fully proven Wang Tao’s capability and ambition.

On the other hand, regarding Wang Tao’s connections and resources, Zhang Jingdong feels that even without asking for his daddy’s help, he should be able to solve most of the difficulties.

Now it depends on whether this guy is willing to come on board.

In fact, besides what Zhang Jingdong has just thought of, there’s another very important reason why Wang Tao doesn’t want to work at his father’s company - he actually harbors deep grudges against his dad.

Because his dad has a mistress.

And she’s a high-level executive in the company.

So he doesn’t want to face them in the company.

Moreover, after meeting Zhang Jingdong, Wang Tao has occasionally thought about using Zhang Jingdong’s abundant funds to create a really impressive company.

On one hand, to prove himself to his father, and on the other hand, to give his mother something to be proud of.

So, upon hearing Zhang Jingdong’s words, Wang Tao almost didn’t hesitate and directly said, ”Boss, just tell me, what do you need me to do?”

Zhang Jingdong heard the excitement and determination in his tone and then said, ”I want you to take full charge of the company’s establishment and future operations and management, of course, I will also personally handle the company’s strategic direction!”

Wang Tao now fully confirmed that Zhang Jingdong was serious about engaging in real estate, and his ambition that he had always deliberately hidden was instantly ignited, ”Okay, since you trust me, I will definitely do my best!”

At this moment, Liu Zongheng couldn’t help but say, ”Boss, I... I actually have some ideas about real estate too, so can I also participate when the time comes?”

”Don’t worry, I’ll only do what I can. I don’t want any shares or positions, I just want to gain some experience with actual projects.”

Wang Tao took the chance and said, ”Boss, Zong Heng’s family deals with hotels and commercial real estate, so there will certainly be some issues he’ll need to handle, why not let him assist me?”

Zhang Jingdong glanced at Liu Zongheng and nodded with a smile, ”Don’t worry, even if you hadn’t mentioned this, I would definitely have employed you!”

”After all, real estate will be an important direction for our company’s development for a while; we definitely need to invest the most capital, manpower, materials, and various connections and resources.”

”So I’ve thought about it already, in the future, I will hold 50%, President Wang will hold 30%, and you, Zong Heng, will hold 20%.”

Upon hearing this, both were suddenly a bit overwhelmed with the favor, since a real estate company is not like this bar.

Even if the bar is made to be the best, the most you have to invest might be tens of millions, whereas in real estate, you’re talking about investments by the billions, and this money would certainly come from Zhang Jingdong.

So, Wang Tao hurriedly waved his hands, ”Boss, this won’t do...”

Zhang Jingdong also smiled and waved his hand, ”I know what you’re going to say, just listen to me first, this real estate does need a lot of investment, but at the end of the day, it’s a matter greatly reliant on connections and resources.”

”Without these, we simply can’t get the land we want, and even if we do get the land, we might not be able to develop it smoothly.”

”So, just like when we partnered to open the bar, I said that I would never cheat those who work for me, because I think you guys are worth it, and most importantly, I trust my judgment, I believe whatever you guys do for me is definitely worth the reward I give you!”

On hearing this, Wang Tao and Liu Zongheng were once again convinced by Zhang Jingdong and they also once again silently praised their fortune at having such a wise leader, ultimately they both were filled with the ambition to work hard with him.

Wang Tao, unusually excited, said, ”Boss, since you’ve put it that way, I won’t say more, I will definitely show my gratitude to you with my actions!”

Liu Zongheng immediately echoed, ”Boss, me... me too!”

Seeing both were inflamed with gratitude by his generosity, Zhang Jingdong then said, ”Alright, that’s settled then. Hand over the bar’s matters to Chen Nan in the next few days, and you start focusing on the real estate company.”

”I’ll just tell you guys in advance, our first project is Jinglan Garden.”

Liu Zongheng hesitantly said, ”Isn’t that a derelict building?”

”Exactly, our goal is to buy it, finish building it, and then sell it off.”

”There are two points; one is that such projects are relatively easy to handle, and the other, more mature real estate companies don’t wish to take on such projects, so it’s easier for us to acquire them.”
