Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 481: Chapter 226 With Her in the Classroom... (Long Chapter, Please Subscribe)_3

This moment had Zhang Jingdong starting to daydream about what she’d look like in the new clothes she was about to change into.

Legendary master of horror films, Hitchcock once said that the most terrifying part of a horror movie is not what you see, but what it makes you think of.

Similarly, for a seasoned ”driver,” the most enchanting thing about a woman is not what he sees, but what he thinks of when he looks at her.

Because the thrill that these thoughts bring him is far greater than whatever she is wearing.

And at this moment, this was exactly what Zhang Jingdong was experiencing.

Seeing him staring at her dreamily, Shu Ran endured it for ten seconds before she finally couldn’t help asking, ”What are you looking at?”

Zhang Jingdong maintained the same look on his face: ”A celestial being descended to earth!”

Shu Ran burst into laughter instantly: ”Smooth talker!”

It was then that Zhang Jingdong finally snapped out of it, stepped forward, wrapped his arms around Shu Ran’s waist, and casually closed the door.

His gaze fixed upon her intensely: ”How many sets of clothes did you buy?”

Shu Ran’s face turned red: ”Over a dozen... I was afraid you wouldn’t be satisfied.”

Zhang Jingdong kissed her: ”So thoughtful... Did you get the style I mentioned?”

Shu Ran huffed, throwing him a sidelong glance: ”And it’s all your fault. I’ve never been looked at with that kind of eye before!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately understood and kissed her again: ”Next time I’ll go buy them for you, I have thick skin!”

Shu Ran pursed her lips: ”Forget it, who knows how excessive the ones you’d buy might be!”

Zhang Jingdong grinned mischievously: ”Teacher Shu, when it comes to buying these clothes, there’s only a zero time and countless times. Let’s wait and see if you don’t believe me.”

Shu Ran rolled her eyes at him: ”Hurry up and cook, I’m starving!”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”Alright, let’s first fill up your stomach!”

With that, he led her to the kitchen.

Half an hour later, as a plate of Shandong braised pork was served, Shu Ran took a bite and was once again deeply impressed by Zhang Jingdong’s exquisite culinary skills!

”Classmate Zhang Jingdong, your cooking skills are exceptional! This braised pork is just too delicious!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled proudly, then continued to stir-fry the shrimp.

More than an hour later, the two had placed all the dishes on the table.

Looking at the perfect ten-course dinner, Shu Ran said meaningfully: ”Shall we have some drinks?”

Zhang Jingdong nodded: ”Of course. With such fine dishes, it’d be a real waste not to drink!”

Shu Ran then went to the kitchen and soon came back with a bottle of Maotai.

After washing their hands, they sat down at the table; Shu Ran opened the Maotai and poured a full glass for each of them.

At this point, Shu Ran picked up her glass, a mix of shyness and joy in her voice: ”Classmate Zhang Jingdong, tonight is a special day. This glass is for you; I hope you will remember this day forever, just like I will!”

Zhang Jingdong was touched: ”Teacher Shu, let’s make today a commemorative day. It’s our true anniversary, and from now on, I’ll spend this day with you every year!”

Although Shu Ran noticed the pun in Zhang Jingdong’s words, she was genuinely moved and replied: ”Okay, thank you classmate Zhang Jingdong... I’ll take a big sip!”

Seeing that Shu Ran was about to drink, Zhang Jingdong quickly said: ”Teacher Shu, we must drink a cross-cupped toast for this one.”

Upon hearing this, Shu Ran’s cheeks instantly flushed with a hint of redness: ”...Alright, I’ll listen to you.”

Zhang Jingdong then stood up and approached Shu Ran.

Shu Ran feigned modesty for a moment, then stood up with a sweet face.

The two exchanged a look, then slowly entwined their arms holding the wine glasses, and finally looked into each other’s eyes and downed their drinks.

And with this cross-cupped toast, the sweetness of the meal went off the charts.

For the first time, Shu Ran even felt that the liquor wasn’t the slightest bit spicy, almost like drinking Sprite.

Subsequently, the two of them ate their meal while exchanging glances. For a long while, neither uttered a word, but the electricity generated from their eye contact could have powered Korea for an entire year.

After finishing the meal, the two of them cleaned up the dining table together, and then they headed to the living room.

Zhang Jingdong turned on the TV and then took out a DVD from his bag, which had a photo of Teacher Song Dao on the cover, with the title ”Female Teacher.”

Shu Ran glanced at it and instantly became flustered: ”What is this...”

Zhang Jingdong teased as he lightly scraped her pretty nose: ”I’m worried you might not have enough knowledge in certain areas, so I found some educational material for you. You don’t need to study it deeply, just get the gist of it.”

Saying so, he deftly set up the DVD.

Seeing Shu Ran becoming visibly nervous, Zhang Jingdong lightly flicked his right hand and produced a deck of playing cards.

”Teacher Shu, come on, this is our main event for tonight!”

”Before, we always played a badminton match to decide on a punishment. Now, let’s play something more intense. We each draw a card, and whoever has the higher card gets to decide on a punishment for the other. Then the loser has to accept the punishment immediately. What do you say, do you dare to play?”

Shu Ran glanced at the TV and then quickly looked away: ”Okay... I’m in!”

”Alright, I’ll go first!”

As soon as Zhang Jingdong finished speaking, he drew a card and flipped it over, revealing the ten of clubs.

He couldn’t help but boast: ”Tsk tsk, I can’t help it, my luck is just that good! Alright, Teacher Shu, are you still going to draw, or should I just announce the punishment?”

Shu Ran playfully protested: ”Why? Your ten isn’t that big...”

As she spoke, she also drew a card and, to her surprise, it was the king of diamonds!

Shu Ran burst into laughter immediately: ”Haha, I won!”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile: ”You are quite lucky indeed. Fair is fair, go ahead, tell me the punishment.”

Shu Ran thought for a moment, then said with an uncharacteristically mischievous grin: ”You have to perform... a gorilla for me!”

Without hesitation, Zhang Jingdong replied: ”No problem!”

He stood up, did a bit of preparation, and then started his gorilla impersonation.

Since he had just eaten, his stomach was slightly distended, and he deliberately protruded it further. Seeing this, Shu Ran burst into laughter: ”I must say, you’re quite convincing!”

Zhang Jingdong then mimed striking a match and lighting a candle: ”The motions I just performed are related to a very popular song. Guess which one!”

”A song?”

Shu Ran thought hard for a moment and then shook her head: ”I don’t know, which song?”

”You’re a bit slow on the uptake, it’s ’Lighting the Stars’!”

Shu Ran had a sudden realization and then laughed again: ”It sure is!”

Zhang Jingdong then returned to the sofa, drew another card, and, unbelievably, it was the four of clubs.

He lamented: ”Tsk tsk, I start getting unlucky just after one round!”

Shu Ran was slightly smug, imitating his earlier tone: ”Do I even need to draw? How about I just decide on a punishment for you?”

Zhang Jingdong sniffed: ”Of course you must draw! As they say, fortune and misfortune are two sides of the same coin. Maybe you’ll draw a three this time.”

”Alright, since you are so obstinate, I’ll just have to make you admit defeat with the facts!”

Saying so, she drew a card from the middle, and when she flipped it over, it was actually a three of clubs!

Zhang Jingdong immediately burst into laughter: ”What did I tell you! What did I say... my words are blessed!”

Shu Ran pouted: ”So, what’s the punishment?”

At that moment, Zhang Jingdong glanced at the TV and said: ”You watch for one minute, and learn this segment!”

Shu Ran glanced subconsciously and then her face turned completely red in an instant!
