Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Leaving Liang Feng’s clothing factory, Zhang Jingdong returned to The One Bar with Liu Zongheng.

The two got out of the car and didn’t rush in. Instead, they chatted in the parking lot for a while.

At that moment, Liu Zongheng said, ”Boss, could you reveal what’s exactly going on between you and my aunt right now?”

Zhang Jingdong candidly replied, ”I took advantage of her, but she couldn’t beat me, so for the time being, she must really hate me and is thinking about finding a chance to retaliate!”

Liu Zongheng nodded thoughtfully, ”Got it. So, what do you think of my aunt now?”

Zhang Jingdong said coolly, ”I’ve never met such a spicy woman before, she’s just like hotpot—stimulating, fiery, and slightly numbing... Tsk tsk, simply unforgettable!”

”From what you’re saying... you’re determined to win her over?”

”That’s hard to say. I’m interested, but in the end, it all depends on what kind of person your aunt is. If she just wants revenge, who knows what the future holds? But if she can turn hate into love for me, then it’ll be easy!”

”Don’t worry, based on what I know about my aunt, it’s very likely the latter. Of course, it will also depend on your approach.”

Zhang Jingdong suddenly recalled something and hesitated, ”But there’s something you need to make clear to me now. Your grandfather’s family isn’t some especially powerful clan, right? I don’t want to win over your aunt only to trap myself!”

Liu Zongheng paused, then replied, ”Well... to tell you the truth, my grandfather does have a bit of a background, but my aunt is an exception in our family.”

”Firstly, all the matters of marrying into other influential families to form alliances are handled by my mom and my elder aunt, so my grandfather is quite lenient with my aunt when it comes to marriage.”

”Secondly, as you’ve seen, my aunt is very independent and quite extreme in certain aspects. So if she is willing to accept you as you are now, you won’t need to make any changes.”

”Besides that, Boss, I actually want to remind you of something else. If in the future you really get together with my aunt, and you’re willing to meet my grandfather as my aunt’s boyfriend, it will definitely be all to your benefit and no harm.”

Zhang Jingdong picked up on the hint in his words, thought for a moment, and then with a carefree attitude, said, ”Let’s wait until I win over your aunt first. That itself is already tough enough!”

Seeing that he didn’t want to continue the topic, Liu Zongheng nodded, ”Indeed, you’re free to do as you please. But if there’s anything you need in the future, just let me know.”

”Rest assured, I would seek you out even if you didn’t mention it!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and then led him into the bar.

Wang Tao was at the stage watching the performers rehearse and came over to greet them upon their return.

”Boss!”

Zhang Jingdong nodded and then his gaze drifted to the stage, thinking of Kong Xue’er and Sun Yuzhen.

It had been several days since he last saw them after their fling at the clubhouse.

The image of the two performing a passionate show for him in the private room surfaced in his mind, igniting a great heat within him.

However, since they were not on stage yet and he had important matters to discuss with Wang Tao, he had to forcefully suppress this feeling.

Zhang Jingdong casually took a seat in a private booth, with Wang Tao and Liu Zongheng sitting to his left and right.

The astute head hostess nearby noticed this and had someone prepare fruit platters and their favorite drinks, which she then personally brought over.

Zhang Jingdong took a sip of his lemon water and said, ”President Wang, our bar is now on the right track. To be honest, I think it’s a bit of a waste to have you just running this bar. Do you have any plans for the next step?”

Wang Tao hesitated for a moment, ”Do you mean... to start a chain?”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile, ”Starting a chain isn’t that difficult and wouldn’t be a challenge for you. I was actually thinking of getting you to try something else.”

Wang Tao instantly realized that Zhang Jingdong had a plan and knew from Zhang Jingdong’s frequent assignments to Liu Zongheng outside the bar’s business that eventually, Zhang Jingdong would also have him help with other matters.

But far from being resistant, he was actually full of anticipation.

Firstly, because when he was running his own bar, he had encountered all kinds of hardships and never succeeded, so he thought that successfully running a popular nightclub would be his pursuit for a long while.

But after meeting Zhang Jingdong, everything fell into place, and the bar was an instant hit after opening, with business getting better and better.

So indeed, as Zhang Jingdong said, the bar no longer posed a challenge for him.

So, he eagerly asked, ”What is it?”

Recognizing the anticipation in his eyes, Zhang Jingdong said, ”I’m thinking about getting into real estate.”

Zhang Jingdong was not joking with the only son of the biggest real estate mogul in Jiangdu, and he believed he would agree.

After all, based on his understanding of Wang Tao, the latter was not someone without ambition.

It’s said that ’like father, like son,’ and if his father could forge such a grand enterprise, his own ambitions could hardly be limited to being a bar owner.

Moreover, he thought that although Wang Tao was ambitious, after returning to China, he didn’t directly join his father’s company, but instead chose to start his own bar, because he knew he wouldn’t have the final say in his father’s company.
