Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 470: Chapter 223 Taming Zhao Ziqiu (Large Chapter, Please Subscribe)

Zhang Jingdong, seeing Zhao Ziqiu taking the bait, promptly said, ”Your legs are indeed beautiful, long, white, and straight.”

Zhao Ziqiu, flattered, a flash of pride in her eyes, unexpectedly stretched her legs onto the center console.

”Since you find them beautiful, then I’ll let you have a good look!”

Zhao Ziqiu knew that if it came to looks or temperament, she was no match for Lin Xirui, but when it came to her figure, she was quite confident.

Because she had not only lived in bunk beds with Lin Xirui but was also her closest dorm mate, she keenly knew the only two advantages she had over Lin Xirui.

One was that she was taller and had better body proportions, and the other was that she could be more proactive and let loose around men.

And with Zhang Jingdong, Zhao Ziqiu knew she had another advantage: she was Lin Xirui’s best friend.

Although she hadn’t dated much, because she envisioned snagging a wealthy bachelor some day with her beauty to leap classes, she had studied what men liked.

In her view, if a man had a very beautiful girlfriend and that girlfriend had a slightly less attractive but still very beautiful best friend,

as long as the best friend gave the slightest hint, the odds were that he would bite.

And if this female friend didn’t demand any sort of status, then she could almost certainly win over the man.

That was exactly her plan: benefitting from her close sisterly bond with Lin Xirui, she thought of becoming only Zhang Jingdong’s lover and then making enough money from him.

But she overlooked one thing, and that was Zhang Jingdong’s skills in Conquest of women.

Zhang Jingdong now fully confirmed this chick’s intentions, then said, ”Since you’re so generous, then don’t just show your legs, give me something more electrifying!”

Zhao Ziqiu smiled demurely: ”You sure have a big appetite, but if you want to see more, then you’ve got to give me a good reason.”

Zhang Jingdong sniffed, ”Now that we’re on the subject, let’s cut to the chase, name your price?”

Zhao Ziqiu originally wanted to tease Zhang Jingdong a bit longer but didn’t expect him to be so straightforward and domineering.

Perhaps this was the true face of a real wealthy man.

Zhao Ziqiu suddenly went from triumphant to a bit awkward, as this was actually her first time in such a situation.

Before today, although she had contemplated a moment like this in the future, she hadn’t expected it to come so suddenly.

Especially since the person she faced was not the rich middle-aged man she had imagined, but a wealthy and handsome diamond bachelor like Zhang Jingdong, who was also very talented, and most importantly, she kind of liked him.

So at this moment, her emotions were complex.

There was delight, because once she and Zhang Jingdong reached an agreement, not only could she make money, but she could also be with such a perfect man in every way.

Although she wouldn’t be his legitimate girlfriend, she would almost receive all the treatment of his girlfriend.

But there was also shame, for one thing, she could no longer relate to Zhang Jingdong, the man she liked, on equal terms or joke around with him freely any longer.

Secondly, she had now become the third wheel in her best friend’s romance, she would always owe Lin Xirui.

But after much struggle, she knew that things had gotten to this point, and she simply couldn’t refuse.

So she forced herself to regain her composure, then extended two fingers: ”Because I do like you somewhat, so... 20,000 a month, what do you think?”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and shook his head: ”I’ll give you 100,000!”

Zhao Ziqiu was momentarily dumbfounded: ”What do you mean by that... do you think I’m asking for too much?”

Zhang Jingdong casually said, ”No, I just want to give you 100,000.”

”But you have a one-month probation period, the salary during the probation is still 100,000, but you must agree to two conditions.”

”What conditions? Just tell me.”

”First, Ruirui must never know about our relationship.”

”I understand that, of course, and I’ll do my best to ensure it.”

”Second, from now on, you’ll do whatever I tell you, and you’re not allowed to ask why.”

Zhao Ziqiu paused for a moment, a resolute look flashing in her eyes: ”Okay.”

Zhang Jingdong then turned to look at her and said: ”You’ve got guts, I like that...”

Saying that, he handed her his clutch: ”Open it.”

Zhao Ziqiu was slightly startled, took his clutch, and did as she was told.

”Is there a Van Cleef and Arpels box inside?”

”Yes.”

”Take it out, consider it a gift for agreeing to our arrangement.”

Zhao Ziqiu could tell just by looking at the box that it was a diamond bracelet from Van Cleef and Arpels, the four-leaf clover white gold full diamond classic design, which cost at least over 80,000 in the store now.

Li Ya from the class next door had a similar one, given by her wealthy second-generation boyfriend. Although hers was not full diamonds, it still cost over 30,000, and she had been showing it off in their department for a good while.

Because of receiving this bracelet, she had not slept in the dorm for a whole week afterward.

And now, without having done anything yet, Zhang Jingdong dared to give her such an expensive gift.

She couldn’t help but think of the Porsche 911 that Lin Xirui was driving now, and once again confirmed Zhang Jingdong’s generosity towards women.
