Chapter 127: Chapter 111 I tonight... can I not go back (big Chapter asking for subscription)

During the descent of the Ferris wheel, the trio quietly admired the beautiful scenery in front of them, and Zhang Jingdong never let go of Lin Xirui’s hand.

During that time, Lin Xirui, having realized what was happening, struggled a couple of times but to no avail and eventually gave up.

It wasn’t until the Ferris wheel stopped that Zhang Jingdong finally released her hand, smiling, he said, ”Did you enjoy that? Should we go for another ride?”

Lin Xirui gave Zhang Jingdong an annoyed look: ”You guys go if you want, I think I’m a bit afraid of heights, I’ll wait for you down here.”

At that moment, Lin Xiran spoke: ”I think it’s good not to indulge too much in good things at once, otherwise, they lose their novelty next time. But if you want to go again, I can join you.”

Zhang Jingdong affectionately patted Lin Xiran’s head: ”Didn’t expect you to say something so philosophical. I think you’re quite right, let’s come back another time. Let’s go!”

The trio then got off the Ferris wheel and left the amusement park.

On the way back, perhaps because they were tired from an afternoon of fun, none of them spoke.

However, there was a mysterious atmosphere lingering in the car.

From time to time, Lin Xiran gave Zhang Jingdong a loving glance, and occasionally brushed against his arm quietly.

And then Zhang Jingdong would take her hand and kiss it directly.

Besides that, every time Zhang Jingdong turned a corner, he would glance at the rear-view mirror.

Every time he did this, Lin Xirui would feel a flutter in her heart.

But this time, she didn’t block her legs with her hands, and even occasionally, she would look towards the rear-view mirror and catch Zhang Jingdong’s gaze.

Half an hour later, the car arrived at the normal university.

Lin Xirui originally asked Zhang Jingdong to stop at the university gate, but instead, he drove right into the campus and dropped them off directly in front of their dormitory building.

Lin Xirui opened the car door and first said to Lin Xiran, ”Sis, send me a text when you get to the dorm.”

”Okay, got it, sis!”

Then, as she got down from the car, she suddenly said to Zhang Jingdong, ”...drive slowly on your way back!”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled: ”Wait a sec!”

”What’s up?”

Lin Xirui suddenly felt a bit nervous.

At that moment, Zhang Jingdong extended his hand holding a business card: ”This has my number on it, set it as your emergency contact. If anything like today happens again, call me immediately!”

Lin Xirui was touched, yet she instinctively glanced at Lin Xiran.

Lin Xiran sincerely said, ”Sis, take it. Today was really dangerous, Jingdong is looking out for your well-being.”

Lin Xirui bit her lip corner then took the business card: ”...Thank you.”

”Host successfully received a thank you from the target person, reward 50,000 yuan!”

Zhang Jingdong spoke meaningfully: ”No need to be formal with me, go on, get some rest early.”

Lin Xirui nodded, then closed the car door.

Watching as Zhang Jingdong’s car drove away, Lin Xirui then turned and entered the dormitory building.

Twenty minutes later, the car slowly stopped in a secluded corner next to the Art College’s sports field.

The two got out of the car and moved to the back seat.

After a passionate and lingering kiss, Lin Xiran leaned on Zhang Jingdong’s shoulder and sweetly said, ”Dear, thanks for saving my sister today, and then taking us to such fun places, and even riding the Ferris wheel.”

Zhang Jingdong deeply inhaled her body scent: ”Your sister can thank me, but you don’t need to, instead of saying thanks, you might as well give me a reward.”

Lin Xiran then lifted her head, her face flushed, ”What kind of reward do you want?”

Zhang Jingdong gently lifted her delicate chin: ”What do you think?”

Lin Xiran caught the intensity in Zhang Jingdong’s eyes, bit her lip and said, ”If you want... I can... not go back to the dorm tonight...”

After speaking, Lin Xiran immediately blushed with embarrassment and lowered her head.

Hearing this, a wave of intense heat surged within Zhang Jingdong.

Having played in the pool all afternoon with them, he was already finding it hard to restrain himself.

But though Lin Xiran said this, looking into her eyes, it was clear she wasn’t quite prepared for a hotel.

So he smirked, ”Actually... no need for a hotel... we can just stay here...”

”Here?” Lin Xiran immediately became flustered: ”This... isn’t alright, what if someone sees us...”

Zhang Jingdong promptly said, ”We’re not doing what you think... you can do it in another way...”

”Another way?”

Lin Xiran then raised her head, looking confusedly at Zhang Jingdong.

With a calm demeanor, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Didn’t you watch Miss Li’s movie last time? Besides the usual, there’s another way...”

As he spoke, Zhang Jingdong slowly touched the corner of Lin Xiran’s mouth.

Lin Xiran deeply looked at Zhang Jingdong, let out a deep breath of relief, and as if making a certain decision, again bashfully lowered her head.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the field, three boys who just returned from the rehearsal hall were talking.

One of them said, ”Next Friday, the Dance Department has a cultural performance, are you guys going?”

”Will Lin Xiran be there?”

”Of course, why else would I bring it up!”

”Then we must go!”

Another person suddenly said, ”But I heard from my high school classmate in the Dance Department... Lin Xiran already has a boyfriend.”

”What... What? How is that possible? Who could possibly catch up with her, she’s the campus belle! What department is he from?”

”He’s apparently not even from our school.”

”Not from our school... stop joking, Lin Xiran has always been focused on dancing, how could she possibly be dating someone outside?”
