Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 1367: Chapter 1369: Harmless to Humans and Animals?!

Lu Xiaobu didn’t know how Elder Yu managed it.

But soon, ten military helicopters were transferred from an army aviation regiment.

Meanwhile, Lu Xiaobu also moved ten RVs to Shimen at this time.

The reason for calling it a transfer instead of a purchase is because the Lu Group basically has RVs exclusively for Lu Xiaobu in every city.

And they are all custom models.

Now mobilizing them is much faster than purchasing directly.

Of course, the Lu Group will still make another purchase later on, but that’s enough said.

Overall, by the time evening came, ten military helicopters and ten custom RVs were delivered to the base.

”Xiaobu, can you tell me what you’re planning to do?” Elder Yu asked, looking puzzled at the two rows of RVs and helicopters lined up in the warehouse.

”Modification, just some modifications.” Lu Xiaobu waved his hand, not explaining much.

”Alright.” Elder Yu shrugged. ”I won’t ask more, but just to be clear, these ten helicopters are purchased by you, not gifted. You need to pay for them.”

”I know, do I seem like that kind of person?” Lu Xiaobu rolled his eyes. ”One hundred and sixty million each, right? Just one billion six hundred million.”

Elder Yu nodded and left the warehouse.

This was their transaction condition; he didn’t need to keep watching, as whatever Lu Xiaobu made, they’d eventually get a copy.

After Elder Yu left, Lu Xiaobu stroked his chin and began to ponder.

As he had thought, there was now a branching path for RV upgrades.

RVs can be upgraded with RVs, and helicopters can also upgrade the RVs.

Probably, an RV’s own upgrade would be similar to the helicopters previously, just becoming stronger, but still being a vehicle.

Lu Xiaobu also noticed one thing.

When an RV upgrades with another RV, the remaining nine RVs become prerequisites for the upgrade.

But with helicopters, it’s a one-to-one process.

”As expected, different types are indeed harder to upgrade, and the success rate is lower.” Lu Xiaobu nodded.

Through these experiments and guesses, he roughly understood the operating mode of this upgrade feature.

Once the operating mode is known, the success rate of future upgrades can be better controlled.

Of course, thinking it through is one thing, but he couldn’t stop the current upgrade.

”Will you spend two hundred million to conduct the upgrade?”

”Yes!”

The process was exactly the same as before, so no need to elaborate.

”Upgrade failed!”

”Upgrade failed!”

”Upgrade failed!”

”Upgrade failed!”

A series of failures occurred!

And with each failure, two hundred million was wasted!

Fortunately, each helicopter itself cost one hundred and sixty million, so it was basically not a loss!

The failures continued.

The remaining vehicles and helicopters were getting fewer.

Even Lu Xiaobu was getting a little nervous.

If this upgrade failed again, getting another ten helicopters would be nearly impossible!

”Success, come on, succeed!” Lu Xiaobu rubbed his hands together like a gambler.

Finally, on the eighth upgrade attempt!

Upgrade succeeded!

A deep green large truck appeared in front of Lu Xiaobu.

The reason it was called a truck was that the original RV basically looked like a truck.

It used to be pure white, which looked better.

But now, it had become deep green with camouflage colors, giving the first impression of a truck!

The usual silly system introduction came on cue: ”This product is an upgrade fusion of a helicopter and RV, maintaining the comfort of an RV while possessing powerful firepower and a unique flying function!”

”Look, the rocket launcher is right next to the kitchen, and your exercise bed is above an ammo box! Whether you’re cooking or exercising, be careful not to move too much, watch out for misfires! You know what I mean!”

Lu Xiaobu wasn’t in the mood to listen to the system’s silly introduction. He dashed to the vehicle to see what it had become.

To be honest, upgrading the RV with a flying function was quite challenging.

After all, this RV of Lu Xiaobu could surprisingly support a small helicopter mounted on the roof.

Moreover, for such large RVs, the cab and body can generally detach.

Otherwise, you’d have a hard time turning on the road.

In this situation, trying to make the whole RV fly was really difficult!

”Detachable design?” Lu Xiaobu mumbled as he touched the control panel in the driver’s seat: ”It’s not the entire RV that has flying capabilities—only the cabin does; meanwhile, the helicopter’s firepower is concentrated on the cab base, right?”

After coming down from the cockpit, Lu Xiaobu entered the cabin.

”Hmm, the space has been reduced slightly, but not much, still acceptable.” Lu Xiaobu glanced around, taking note.

”Elder Yu, come in.” Lu Xiaobu got off the vehicle and called to outside.

”Is it done?” Elder Yu asked, puzzled by the RV which seemed no different from before, apart from the color.

”Yes, it’s done. You can have your team record the data and I’ll drive it away afterward.” Lu Xiaobu nodded: ”Also, keep one helicopter at my place, and the remaining vehicles are a gift to you.”

”Alright,” Elder Yu agreed without arguing.

As they chatted,

”Oh my god!” the staff recording the data suddenly jumped up, shocked!

”What’s wrong? Why so alarmed?” Elder Yu frowned. ”It’s just an RV; how impressive can the data be?”

He assumed that the RV might have just improved in defense, speed, and such!

Is that surprising at all?!

”No! It’s not! About that!” The staff swallowed nervously: ”This isn’t just an ordinary RV!”

”How so?” Elder Yu asked, confused.

”Come on, look!” The staff member pulled Elder Yu to the RV, pointing at the cab and its base: ”This is actually a small wheeled medium-range rocket launcher!”

”What?!” Elder Yu’s eyes widened!

”And this!” The staff pointed to the cabin: ”It’s a small, transformable helicopter!”

”Huh?!” Elder Yu’s mouth dropped open!

”And here!” The staff gestured towards the spare fuel tank: ”Half of it’s regular fuel, the other half is napalm, ready to act as a bomb anytime!”

”Whoof!”

Elder Yu clutched his chest, looking at this seemingly harmless RV and then at Lu Xiaobu, who maintained a likewise innocent expression, collapsing as he asked: ”What exactly are you planning to do?!”
