Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 1240: Chapter 1240: Get Lost

The commotion aside, the public relations department still released detailed requirements.

The viewing requirements this time are truly extremely harsh!

First, you must apply for a movie ticket through Alipay with real-name authentication. Entry will require an ID card and manual verification, similar to border checks, extremely strict!

With Alipay linked to ID cards and bank cards, it largely restricts many minors from purchasing tickets.

Coupled with strict verification, it basically eliminates the possibility of minors watching the film.

This is for the first requirement.

The second requirement is self-explanatory, it’s just about spending money recklessly, no need to think deeply.

The third requirement is unprecedentedly peculiar.

This time, the film is not released nationwide uniformly; instead, it’s like a concert format.

Simultaneously screening in ten cities, selecting ten cinemas per city, meaning one hundred cinemas will show it at once, and each screening lasts three days.

Screening time is all day.

Moreover, during the screening period, these ten cinemas will not schedule any other movies!

The fourth requirement, no electronic devices are allowed during the viewing, even anything containing metal is prohibited. Lu Group will have dedicated personnel to manage this, and items can be retrieved only after the viewing is over.

Apart from these extremely harsh four rules, there was one last addition, strictly punish those who illegally record!

As soon as these conditions were released, the entire audience in the Heavenly Dynasty went into an uproar!

”What is this all about?”

”Yeah! Is this a movie screening or a visit to a historical site? It’s so strict?!”

”Too harsh! Is this documentary that terrifying? It feels like preventing theft!”

”I think it’s unlikely to be achieved!”

”Yeah, I can understand minors not being allowed, but the third and fourth rules are impossible to follow!”

”...”

Some who couldn’t stand Lu Xiaobu, or rather Lu Xiaobu’s former enemies, all jumped out!

”Ridiculous, it’s simply fanciful! Look at the third rule, not simultaneous nationwide release, but a concert-like format?!”

”Isn’t this nonsense! Lu Group on your end might be okay, but will those cinemas agree?”

”Yeah! How could cinemas possibly agree to this? It’s absurd!”

”I don’t believe it can be done! Not to mention the consequences of Lu Xiaobu’s violation, how could you achieve this with your relationship with film companies!?”

”Fanciful! Lu Xiaobu is just messing around, this unilateral decision could never be accepted!”

”...”

While they were discussing or even denouncing,

suddenly, a joint statement came out.

”Jiacheng Film and Television, Wanqian Film and Television, Lonely Boat Film and Television, Heaven and Earth Film and Television, among dozens of companies, announce their unconditional support for Lu Xiaobu’s decision!”

Hearing this, all those who were questioning Lu Xiaobu shut their mouths.

This statement was like a slap in the face of those doubters, leaving them dumbfounded!

”No way! So quickly?! Lu Xiaobu hasn’t even said anything yet!”

”My God! Do they know what they are doing?!”

”Is this already decided?! No conditions mentioned, just agreed in advance?!”

”...”

No matter how incredulous they were, the statement was real and right before their eyes, leaving them no choice but to believe it.

The film companies shrugged at these incredulous comments, explaining nothing!

You guys don’t understand anything!

The higher-ups even changed the rules for Lu Xiaobu, and now they are targeting Lu Xiaobu? Looking for death?!

So, unconditional support!

After all, it’s not like Lu Xiaobu isn’t paying for it!

The doubters, seeing the third rule slapped back at them, started looking for trouble with the fourth rule while holding back their anger.

”Forget the third rule! The fourth rule is too much! Yeah! Why can’t I take my phone? If something gets lost, will you be responsible?!”

”No electronic devices allowed? We are the audience! Are you treating us like thieves?! What could we possibly steal from a movie?!”

”And saying no metals allowed? Do I have to take off my belt at the door and go in naked?!”

”Too much! Treating us like criminals! Not only is there no guarantee for property safety but also no guarantee for personal safety!”

”Absolutely not agreeing!”

”...”

Finally, Lu Xiaobu spoke.

”Agree or not, it’s up to you! I’ll screen the film for free or even at a loss! Watch or don’t watch, just get the hell out if you’re not interested! Enough with the nonsense!”

Lu Xiaobu’s quick temper won’t tolerate them!

Hmph! Bunch of trash!

”I didn’t tolerate you all when I needed your money, now screening for free, even at a loss, I certainly won’t tolerate you!”

As soon as he said this, those people immediately turned red in the face, feeling insulted.

”Lu Xiaobu, what do you mean?!”

”We’re supporting you by watching your movie! Is this how you repay us?!”

”Everyone, see this! Look at Lu Xiaobu’s attitude! No more watching! No more supporting him!”

”...”

They thought they could incite others’ emotions.

However, they ended up only humiliating themselves!

”Young Master Bu is right! Watch or don’t watch, it’s up to you! It’s not intended for you anyway!”

”Some people have been kneeling for so long, they’ve forgotten they can stand up!”

”Watching for free and yet complaining?! Get some shame!”

”Do you even remember where your ancestors are from? What kind of movie is this?! Do you think it’s a comedy meant to make you laugh?! This is a documentary! For this film, Young Master Bu directly acquired exclusive film resources from Japan! You’re not watching?! Perfect! Get out!”

”Remember, tonight tell your parents, your kids, that they have no shame at all! Using patriotism to threaten others! I want to see how your parents go out tomorrow! See how your kids go to school tomorrow!”

”Young Master Bu is right! Bunch of damn trash!”

”...”

Online, almost all the voices were condemning this group of trash.

People aren’t stupid, this has become criticism just for the sake of it!

You say Lu Group’s approach is a bit excessive, this is not denied, they also think it’s making a fuss over nothing!

But you’re shameless enough to use this to threaten Lu Xiaobu?!

Where do you get the audacity and the nerve?!

Amidst the condemnation from millions of netizens, those few voices finally stopped talking!

No more courage!

With so many netizens, even if a few of them were to doxx them, expose them.

It’s likely many would point at their backs and call them traitors!

Then they’d truly be unable to show their faces!
