Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 347: Chapter 346 Public Declaration of War [3rd update, extra for Alliance Hierarch who watches the typhoon by sitting on the windowsill]

Wen Family Hall didn’t dare to imagine, because there really wasn’t any explosive news, so the reporters could only follow routine and write a regular news article.

So, it didn’t cause any big waves.

Just like that, time passed quietly for a few days.

Negative Energy Cola was still selling out massively, the CEO of Dawa Cola Company was grinning from ear to ear!

However, overnight.

A new beverage silently appeared on the market.

Positive Energy Beverage.

This beverage was called Positive Energy.

Once this beverage launched, it sparked enormous controversy and attention!

After all, the name was very suggestive!

”Positive Energy Beverage?! Negative Energy Cola?! Someone’s looking to stir things up!”

”Could it be just riding the trend? Did they make up this name on purpose?”

”Nope, this is totally stirring things up, just go and see for yourself!”

”Indeed! It really is stirring things up!”

People saw these comments and went to check out the Positive Energy Beverage.

Then they discovered...

Cola bottles are round, but this one is square.

Cola is black, but this one is white.

Cola has Negative Energy labels, the other one has Positive Energy labels.

Now!

Even a blind person could see that this was aimed at Lu Xiaobu’s Negative Energy Cola.

It’s a challenge to a duel.

”Dang, impressive! Who’s this bigshot trying to go head-to-head with Lu Xiaobu!”

”6666, this is straight-up slapping Lu Xiaobu in the face!”

”Awesome! There’s still someone so bold in the beverage industry!”

”...”

Just when the controversy started online.

The advert for Positive Energy also came out, announcing it’s now officially for sale!

”Positive Energy, remove Negative Energy, fill you with full Positive Energy.”

One look at the ad and you could tell it was hinting at Lu Xiaobu’s Negative Energy Cola!

Remove Negative Energy, remove who?

Obviously, it’s aimed at Lu Xiaobu’s Cola!

This is an outright declaration of war!

At that moment, the internet exploded.

”Declaring war on Lu Xiaobu?!”

”They’re going to fight openly?!”

”Such guts!”

”Does he really think he can beat Lu Xiaobu?!”

”How does it taste? Have you guys tried it?”

”Not bad!”

”...”

The matter reached the inside of Cola Company.

But it immediately turned into a joke.

”Wow, awesome! Someone actually came to challenge us.”

”Their timing in riding the popularity wave isn’t bad, we have Negative Energy, they’re using Positive Energy. Looks quite intimidating.”

”It’s just intimidating, what else can it do? Our cola’s position is already well established, they are merely seeking their own end.”

”But we can’t say that for sure, the person who proposed this Positive Energy Cola must have some skills; by capturing the public’s curiosity, it can still secure a certain market.”

”Never mind, let them be, at least, it helps promote us too.”

”...”

In Cola Company’s view, it was merely a joke.

After all, cola had already secured its market position with its unique taste, and now a new drink wanted to win over cola through opportunistic tactics, which was nothing but a joke.

It’s like two people fighting, one with real muscles, while the other one wears inflatable muscles.

It’s quite clear who will win and who will lose, isn’t it!

”Okay, enough, let’s get off work early, why waste time talking nonsense?” Dawa emerged and said with a laugh and scold.

He didn’t take it seriously either, this wasn’t arrogance but confidence.

And indeed, as they predicted.

While the Positive Energy Beverage did catch some attention and momentarily became hot.

However, the popularity lasted only for a short while.

People just bought a bottle out of fun and curiosity to try it out.

After that, they basically wouldn’t touch it anymore.

After all, it couldn’t compete in taste, and those dry and boring positive energy sentences weren’t as thrilling as the negative energy of Cola.

Nothing could compare, why would they buy it.

Instead, Cola boosted its sales by leveraging advertisements for positive energy drinks.

When this news hit the internet, people immediately had a good laugh.

”Sure enough, Lu Xiaobu is awesome!”

”Maybe Lu Xiaobu doesn’t even know about this!”

”Right, such a trivial matter, how could it reach his ears.”

”Just a farce.”

”...”

However, just when everyone thought this farce was over.

The controversy quietly started.

It stemmed from a video!

A video of a speech.

It was a speech by a so-called educator.

The kind that takes place in schools publicly.

I don’t know if you’ve seen it, it’s the type of speech that teaches children to be grateful.

But this time, the speech wasn’t about gratitude.

It was about promoting positive energy and eliminating negative energy!

This seems like a good thing, but it was causing trouble in the world!

To give you an idea.

The speech was sponsored by positive energy drinks, and the entire venue was filled with positive energy drinks.

During the first half of the video.

That so-called educator often held a positive energy drink, reciting positive energy sentences for everyone.

These are all fine.

The cause is good, the method is right.

However.

As the video progressed to the later stages, the tone of the presentation started to change.

It was no longer about promoting positive energy, but about condemning negative energy.

One representative quote was this:

”In society, there are some people, I won’t specify who as you probably can guess, these kind of people are rich but heartless, don’t consider the public impact, they will stop at nothing just to make money!”

”Even daring to publicly promote negative energy, what kind of person is this? Shameful, despicable!”

”To not overstate, these people are basically telling everyone ’robbing banks is profitable, go rob banks’!”

”What is this if not making trouble?”

”This is simply poisoning our children, poisoning your next generation.”

”Just think about it, if you live every day in an atmosphere of negative energy, what would your life become?”

”Success without recognizing kin? Does that mean everyone should give up on success? Just be like some scumbag, lazing around waiting for death?”

”So, I hereby make a call to resist this kind of negative energy, resist companies that promote negative energy.”

”You want to drink beverages, you can completely choose those that bring you positive energy, that’s the right choice!”

”...”

Such phrases appeared many times in the latter half of the speech, countless times!

Every sentence had a clear target.

Taking things out of context, wildly speculating.

Simply put, they were out to get Lu Xiaobu!

After all, anyone could hear.

Who is the scumbag he’s talking about?

Who exactly is he trying to resist!

The internet exploded.

”What the hell?! Publicly resisting Lu Xiaobu?!”

”Did Lu Xiaobu provoke you in any way? You sell drinks, and he can’t?!”

”What the hell with this positive energy drink? How does that mean negative energy is poisoning us?!”

”Oh, since you can’t compete in strength, you play dirty?!”

”Calling yourself an educator! I think you must have eaten shit!”

”...”

Those who said these words were rational netizens who could see the situation clearly.

Dawa also saw this video and quickly told Liang Lan to inform Young Master Bu!

This guy is courting death!

Almost explicitly cursing at Young Master Bu?!

Is he filled with the courage of bears and leopards?!
