Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 137: Chapter 137 Pear Blossoms with Raindrops or Spine-Chilling [Seeking Recommendations, Seeking Favorites]

Watching Wang Gou, Lu Xiaobu clenched his fists.

Taking someone’s money... um, taking someone’s massage oil, solving someone’s disasters!

Since it’s time to slap someone, let’s get started!

This kid looks like exactly the type who deserves a beating.

How should one deal with such a person?

That is...

”Slap!”

Lu Xiaobu went up and slapped Wang Gou across the face.

He found that ever since his attribute points were maxed out, he began to enjoy using violence more!

After slapping him, Lu Xiaobu arrogantly said to Wang Gou, ”Listen up kid, your young master here came today just to slap your faces; show me all the moves you’ve got!”

Lu Xiaobu thought the face-slapping went really well, quite splendidly!

However...

Clatter, clatter!

Wang Gou’s face suddenly started to teem with tears?!

And while crying, he kept saying: ”You hit me! You actually hit me! You! Whaaa! Yuanyuan, I don’t want to play anymore!”

wtf!

Lu Xiaobu was taken aback!

Damn it!

Crying my ass!

Are you even a man?

If I slap you and you come fight me, I wouldn’t be surprised!

But why the hell are you crying?

I even beat Liu Changlong so badly before and he didn’t cry!

”Ahem... cough cough!” Zhou Jingyuan awkwardly coughed twice and whispered to Lu Xiaobu, ”Um, Xiaobu, I forgot to tell you, this guy wasn’t the one meant to be slapped.”

”wtf! What did you say?” Lu Xiaobu was dumbfounded, confused: ”This guy was all provocative, and he wasn’t the one to be slapped?”

”He is actually my gay best friend, I called him to help you choose clothes; we usually talk like that,” Zhou Jingyuan said awkwardly.

”Ah...” Lu Xiaobu went silent.

He looked at Zhou Jingyuan, then at the crying Wang Gou!

It seemed the explanation made sense; Little Chili did always tend to be aggressive when talking!

In that case, his face-slapping journey...

Died before it even started!

What the hell is this?

Intended to slap an enemy, ended up hitting one of our own first.

Super awkward!

”Um... cough, sorry! Uh...”

Lu Xiaobu looked at the sobbing Wang Gou, feeling a tingling sensation all over, but could only apologize.

He reached out his hand, ready for a handshake, a reconciliation.

”Alright!”

Wang Gou sniffled a bit, apparently having forgiven Lu Xiaobu.

Then...

Zhou Jingyuan feared that Lu Xiaobu might get suspicious,

as having a gay bestie was tricky to explain!

So, she whispered in Lu Xiaobu’s ear in an almost inaudible voice, ”Don’t get it wrong, he’s actually gay, and a bottom at that!”

Then...

Hiss!

Lu Xiaobu gasped in shock!

Damn!

Gay!?

And a bottom?

Although he didn’t discriminate against homosexuals.

But!

Looking at Wang Gou in front of him, he still couldn’t help feeling shivers down his spine!

Especially since Wang Gou was now about to shake hands with him!

So!

Instinctively, Lu Xiaobu swung the hand that was meant for shaking...

Then...

A slap was thrown out!

Slap!

Ah, the situation got awkward again!

Zhou Jingyuan was speechless.

Why did you hit someone again?

Haven’t I explained everything clearly to you?

Poor bestie, you’ve suffered!

It’s not surprising she doesn’t understand; after all, there’s a fundamental difference between how girls and boys view gay people.

Wang Gou couldn’t hold back his tears anymore, crying bitterly: ”Why did you hit me? You apologized to me, and I forgave you, so why did you hit me again? Who did I provoke? Yuanyuan, I feel so wronged!”

It was like a scene of ”pear blossoms bathed in the rain”!

It sent shivers down Lu Xiaobu’s spine!

Since finding out that this big guy was gay, crying like this had become normal in Lu Xiaobu’s eyes!

But although it’s normal, he couldn’t help but feel goosebumps all over!

”Uh, sorry about that, I... how do I put it! I didn’t mean anything else, just not used to it, you know. How about... we’re going shopping for clothes, right? How about I cover all the expenses as an apology?”

Lu Xiaobu said helplessly, ”Of course, don’t worry, I’ll keep it a secret. I’m not a gossipy person!”

”Well then! I take back what I said earlier about you having no taste; you’re actually not too bad.”

Wang Gou sniffled a couple of times, feeling very aggrieved, but he agreed nonetheless.

He knew his way wasn’t something many people could accept.

Although Lu Xiaobu was reluctant to have physical contact, the fact that he stayed and talked meant a lot to him!

And the offer to keep it a secret made him regard Lu Xiaobu even more highly!

”Eh... actually, as you said, I indeed lack taste.”

Lu Xiaobu quickly shook his head.

It’s better to be tasteless, just don’t hit on me!

Liang Lan was holding back her laughter on the side.

It’s really rare to see Young Master like this.

”Those two handsome guys behind you seem quite strong!”

Wang Gou quickly found a new target, his eyes glowing.

”Eh... actually, I’m very weak.”

Zhang Meng shivered and quickly put Li Jin in front: ”Let me introduce you to this person beside me, he’s a former Special Soldier! I can’t beat him at all!”

”No, coach, that’s too much! I’m also very weak!”

Li Jin nearly cried, struggling frantically.

Coach, how can you be so wicked?!

You shouldn’t set us up like this!

These brothers, who are usually stronger than each other, competed with might to prove how weak they were!

”Just kidding, you’re indeed not strong; I like big muscles!”

Wang Gou burst into laughter!

Lu Xiaobu shivered!

And Zhang Meng and Li Jin were backing away.

Yes, yes, yes, we’re very weak, really weak!

Thanks to the military training being anaerobic, otherwise, if it were a bunch of brawny men, it would be deadly!

But for now, this... gay, probably hasn’t awakened any strange attributes.

Otherwise, if he really awakened some attributes.

They wouldn’t dare to fight him.

The harder you hit, the more enjoyable it could be for him, what could you do?

...

A group of people headed to the mall.

During the trip, Lu Xiaobu took a moment to go to the restroom and washed his hands.

Yeah, thoroughly washed his hands.

But that said, Wang Gou really has good taste.

No wonder the little spicy pepper asked Wang Gou to help pick clothes!

Being both, he has better aesthetics than Liang Lan.

He always accurately captures the highlights of dressing up.

So, after a round of shopping, the clothes on Lu Xiaobu instantly leveled up!

Subtle luxury with substance!

Of course, all the clothing changes were handled by Liang Lan without involving Wang Gou!

It’s the same as before, he doesn’t discriminate against gays, maintains respect, but still tries to avoid physical contact!

And Wang Gou also maintained respect towards Lu Xiaobu and his group without any other actions.

So, both sides got along quite pleasantly!

As time reached 8 PM, they had finished choosing clothes.

Zhou Jingyuan took Lu Xiaobu towards her home.

The real face-slapping journey was finally about to begin!
