Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 46: Chapter 46: A Single Slash Kills

BOOM!

A terrifying explosion erupted, making everyone’s head ring. The devastating fluctuations from the Dragon Phoenix Divine Extinguishing Spear completely engulfed Su Han.

”This battle is finally over,” someone exclaimed. ”The Great Crown Prince’s Dragon Phoenix Saint Body is so powerful. Who could possibly withstand a strike like that?”

”Su Han really overestimated himself, attempting the impossible. His death is no great loss.”

”The Great Crown Prince is a prodigy, destined to rule the world. To die at his hands is an honor for Su Han.”

Smiles returned to the faces of the crowd. They clapped and laughed at Su Han’s demise, as they were all supporters of the Great Crown Prince.

”He’s finally dead!” the Empress sighed in relief. The murderous intent in her heart gradually faded, replaced by a surge of immense pride.

Wang Tianqing remained silent. Although Su Han was also his son, he had many children. Losing one or two meant nothing to him as long as the Great Crown Prince remained powerful.

The weight in Yan Liu’s heart lifted. That threat would never get the chance to mature.

”Alas, what a pity.” Outside the arena, Elder Kui sighed, filled with regret over Su Han’s death.

After all, Su Han had risen from ruin and was worthy of the title ’genius.’ If he hadn’t met such an untimely end, he would have undoubtedly achieved greatness. But he had been too reckless, foolishly challenging the Great Crown Prince without enough strength. For him to die like this was truly a shame.

”The fight isn’t over yet!” Tongyan suddenly said, startling Elder Kui.

Hadn’t Su Han died? How could the fight not be over? Could he still be alive?

Elder Kui’s heart skipped a beat, his gaze snapping back to the hunting grounds.

Inside the hunting grounds, the Great Crown Prince’s arrogant laughter continued unabated. His eyes brimmed with glee as he vented all his pent-up frustration.

”You little bastard, your mother was a slut, and you are nothing but her spawn! Your only purpose in life was to become my stepping stone.

”Now you have fulfilled your final purpose. Once I take the secrets from your body, I will become even stronger. No one in this world will be able to stop my advance!

”Hahaha! Don’t worry, I know you still have a sister. I’ll kill her with my own hands and send her to Hell to reunite with you. Consider it my final gift to you!”

The Great Crown Prince’s arrogant voice echoed between heaven and earth. But at that very moment, a deranged voice rang out. ”You? Worthy?”

The Great Crown Prince’s wild laughter froze on his face. He whipped his head around to look.

Amid the lingering fluctuations of the Dragon Phoenix Divine Extinguishing Spear, a tall, dark figure appeared. A pair of crimson eyes snapped open, like the eyes of an Evil Demon.

”You bastard? How are you still alive?!” the Great Crown Prince roared in disbelief. The Dragon Phoenix Divine Extinguishing Spear was his strongest attack. Wielding it with his power at the First Layer of the Heavenly Human Realm, he could have easily killed anyone beneath that realm. How could it have failed to kill Su Han?

The spectators stared, their faces a mask of shock and disbelief.

A figure shot out from the epicenter of the blast, materializing before everyone’s eyes.

He was tall and powerfully built, shrouded in black, with crimson eyes. He looked like a humanoid Evil Demon—powerful and terrifying.

”What is that?” The Great Crown Prince’s pupils shrank, his heart flooding with alarm. This was the first time he had ever seen Su Han’s Demonized State.

”It’s the Black Blade... Has he become a Blade Slave?” Outside the arena, Tongyan paled and gasped. She felt the violent Demonic Qi pouring from Su Han in his Demonized State. Recalling the rumors about the Black Blade, she instantly understood.

”He’s being controlled by that Demonic Blade!”

By now, Wang Tianqing, Yan Liu, and the others had also discerned Su Han’s current condition.

In his Demonized State, although Su Han’s cultivation realm had not increased, his Physical Body and Combat Power were immensely enhanced. Furthermore, after devouring Qin Feng, his Physical Body had already evolved from a Mortal Body to a Spiritual Body. Now, upon entering the Demonized State, it had transformed into a Demon Body!

His body was covered in gaping wounds from withstanding the Dragon Phoenix Divine Extinguishing Spear. However, the injuries were healing at a rate visible to the naked eye, closing completely in the blink of an eye.

The healing ability of this Demon Body was simply monstrous!

”Impossible! How are you still alive?!” the Great Crown Prince roared in rage. He wielded the Golden Dragon Saint Pattern Spear, invoking the Power of Heaven and Earth as he rapidly unleashed Martial Techniques, intending to obliterate Su Han completely.

”Slash!”

Su Han gripped the Black Blade. At that moment, it was as if he and the blade had become one. The blade swirled with Demonic Qi, blazing hot.

CLANG!

The blade and spear collided. In his Demonized State, Su Han’s Combat Power had doubled. He not only blocked the Golden Dragon Saint Pattern Spear, but the terrifying force of the impact also sent the Great Crown Prince reeling backward.

”I am a prodigy! You are nothing but a bastard! I will not lose to you! Die!”

Unable to accept this reality, the Great Crown Prince howled, his eyes bloodshot as he attacked with his full power.

A cultivator in the Heavenly Human Realm, the Great Crown Prince was incredibly powerful, but Su Han in his Demonized State was equally unmatched in battle.

The two battled fiercely, shattering the ground and whipping up howling winds, leaving a trail of devastation.

Su Han used the Character Technique of Motion, and his speed surged. Ghostly and elusive, he hounded the Great Crown Prince, forcing him onto the defensive and leaving him riddled with wounds.

Finally, Su Han cornered the Great Crown Prince.

”I treated you like family, but you treated me like an animal. The day you stole my Dragon Soul, I swore I would make you pay in blood.

”Today, I will kill you. The Dragon Soul is mine, and no one can take it from me.

”You go on ahead. On the road to the Underworld, I will send your mother to join you!”

The icy, emotionless voice echoed in the Great Crown Prince’s ears. His pupils contracted as he stared into Su Han’s crimson eyes, which were filled with a thick, suffocating hatred and killing intent.

”Heaven and Earth Slash!”

Su Han brandished the Black Blade. With the dual enhancement of the Ghostly Face Mask and his Demonized State, this attack was unprecedentedly powerful.

It was as if all color had vanished from the world, leaving only an absolute blackness. This void fell upon the Great Crown Prince’s vision, plunging him into an endless abyss.

To the onlookers, the figures of Su Han and the Great Crown Prince simply crossed paths. A flash of black light, like lightning, flickered and vanished.

At that moment, the world fell deathly silent. Even the wind seemed to freeze in place.

The Great Crown Prince’s body went rigid. He stared wide-eyed into the darkness, his face a mask of profound shock and indignation.

”I have yet to rule the world... How can I die here? I cannot accept this...!”

The Great Crown Prince’s mouth moved slightly, his hoarse voice a final, fading whisper.

HISS!

A blood-red line, as thin as a hair, appeared on his neck. As the Great Crown Prince’s head tilted to one side, it slid clean off.

A fountain of blood erupted into the sky from the now headless body.

This image—the Great Crown Prince, killed with a single slash—was seared into the minds of everyone present.
