Divine Level Witch Doctor

The username ”The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor” was, one might say, the brightest star on the West Hua Medical University forums. Countless people followed this account, so when Zhao Yuan logged on, he was noticed by quite a few of them.

Curiosity got the better of everyone, and they began to guess: was The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor logging on today to release new medical content, or was he here to watch the drama unfold like the rest of them?

Before long, they received a system notification—”The user you follow, ’The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor,’ has published a new post.”

This notification sent everyone into a state of ecstasy, and they scrambled to call their friends and spread the word.

Since appearing on the West Hua Medical University forums, The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor had only ever made one post; the rest of his activity was just answering questions. And that one post was the *Outer Canon of the Yellow Emperor*!

Over the past few days, under the organization of Xiao Xianlin, Liu Mingzhang, and others, all of China’s renowned Traditional Chinese Medicine experts had joined the discussion. They had basically confirmed that the *Outer Canon of the Yellow Emperor* published by The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor was indeed the legendary medical text that had been lost for over a thousand years!

The entire field of Traditional Chinese Medicine was in a frenzy over the news!

The reappearance of the *Outer Canon of the Yellow Emperor* not only possessed immense historical value but also served as a major supplement to Traditional Chinese Medical Theory! Xiao Xianlin and the others unanimously agreed that, with the help of the *Outer Canon of the Yellow Emperor*, Traditional Chinese Medicine was destined to take a new leap forward!

It was because of his previous stunning performance that everyone felt this new post from The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor would be nothing short of incredible. But when they opened the post and saw the content, they were all stunned.

This post didn’t explain any medical content. Instead, it was a defense of Zhao Yuan!

Instantly, countless question marks flooded everyone’s minds, and they rushed to leave comments below the post.

”What’s going on? The Great God of Witch Doctor actually knows Zhao Yuan?”

”It’s more than just knowing him. You can tell the Great God of Witch Doctor is very familiar with Zhao Yuan and trusts him! Look closely at the post. From start to finish, the Great God of Witch Doctor is backing Zhao Yuan!”

”Isn’t Zhao Yuan a scammer? Why would the Great God of Witch Doctor speak up for him? Is there something fishy going on here?”

”There’s definitely something fishy! The Great God of Witch Doctor’s character is beyond reproach. Just the fact that he selflessly published the *Outer Canon of the Yellow Emperor* is enough to show how magnanimous and noble he is! A person like that would never lie!”

”I think so too. Like they say, a man is known by the company he keeps. Since Zhao Yuan has a close relationship with the Great God of Witch Doctor, he would never do something as despicable as impersonating someone from the Jinling Zhao Family. There’s definitely something wrong with this whole situation!”

In just a few short minutes, the post Zhao Yuan had published garnered hundreds of replies, instantly becoming a trending topic on the forums. After seeing the post, countless onlookers went from hating on Zhao Yuan to being neutral, and some even went from being haters to fans! Many people even started new threads supporting Zhao Yuan, analyzing the potential conspiracy behind the events.

The tide of slander against Zhao Yuan on the forums was significantly impacted by this single post!

This was a development the paid trolls did not want to see.

As the saying goes, you take the money, you do the dirty work. These people had taken money from the Jinling Zhao Family, so they had to get the job done. Just as they had public opinion in their grasp and were on the verge of slandering Zhao Yuan into oblivion, an unexpected challenger appeared to ruin their plans. How could they tolerate that?

These paid trolls weren’t part of the medical community and didn’t recognize the username ”The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor.” They resorted to their old tricks and swarmed the thread, trying to flame the user. They wanted to bombard the account into silence, forcing them to delete the post and surrender in cowardice.

They had defeated many people this way before and were confident they would win this time as well!

But the trolls never, in their wildest dreams, imagined they had picked the wrong target this time. Their actions not only infuriated the teachers and students of West Hua Medical University but also the onlookers who were just there for the drama.

Aside from the trolls, everyone on this forum was part of the medical community. To them, The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor was not just an idol they worshipped but also a mentor in their medical studies! Now their idol and mentor was being insulted and slandered. How could they possibly stand for that?

Moreover, the fact that the trolls didn’t recognize The Man Who Wants to Be a Witch Doctor made everyone realize that these people weren’t from the medical community at all! They were just a group of professional trolls carrying out an organized and planned campaign of malicious slander against Zhao Yuan!

Feeling they had been duped, the people were filled with rage. They rallied to Zhao Yuan’s side and went to war with the trolls!

Instantly, the previously one-sided smearing of Zhao Yuan on the forums vanished. The entire medical community was now clashing with the professional trolls, sending them into a full retreat!

With the trolls in trouble, they hastily reported the situation to their manager.

But faced with this situation, the manager was also at a loss.

This manager was actually quite capable. He had planned many paid trolling campaigns before and was experienced in both slandering and promoting people. When he took this job, he thought it would be simple, believing his team could ruin Zhao Yuan’s reputation in minutes.

But the current situation was worlds apart from what he had expected!

The manager couldn’t figure it out. How could such a favorable situation have collapsed so suddenly?

’Isn’t that Zhao Yuan guy just some ordinary, poor student? How can he get so many people to speak up for him? What the hell is going on?’

The forums were in an uproar, and so was Ma Guotao’s office.

Yu Ke and the other teachers from the anatomy building were the first to arrive at Ma Guotao’s office. As soon as they entered, they all started talking at once, defending Zhao Yuan and pleading his case. It was so chaotic that Ma Guotao couldn’t hear a single coherent word. He had to slam his hand on the desk and shout, ”Quiet!”

The anatomy teachers were startled into silence.

With a grim face, Ma Guotao demanded, ”You’re not teaching classes or doing research. What are you all doing in here, raising a ruckus?”

Yu Ke stepped forward as their representative and said, ”Principal Ma, we’re here about Zhao Yuan.”

”Zhao Yuan?”

Ma Guotao frowned. He thought Yu Ke and the others were there to condemn Zhao Yuan, and he couldn’t help but feel a little angry. He was the type who was fiercely protective of his own. Zhao Yuan was a student of West Hua Medical University, after all. Although he had made a mistake and had to be expelled, Ma Guotao didn’t want his own school’s teachers to kick the boy while he was down.

After a cold snort, Ma Guotao scolded, ”This has nothing to do with you. Stay out of it.”

Yu Ke grew anxious. ”Principal Ma, Zhao Yuan has been framed! He would never impersonate someone from the Jinling Zhao Family to commit fraud! I can vouch for him!”

Behind her, the group of anatomy teachers said in unison, ”We can vouch for Zhao Yuan too!”
