Divine Level Witch Doctor

Just as Zhao Yuan tackled Brother Cheng and was swarmed by over a dozen punks, the hot-tempered Liu Zhu bent down, picked up a loose paving stone from the sidewalk, and said in a low voice, ”Second Bro, Fourth Bro, get the girls back to school! Now!”

”Boss, what are you doing?” Wang Rongfeng and Wu Yan asked in unison.

”Going to help Third Bro, of course! We’re brothers, we can’t just leave him here alone! If blood has to be spilled, I’ll spill it with him!” Liu Zhu’s tone was calm as he spoke, but his eyes blazed with Killing Qi.

Wang Rongfeng and Wu Yan exchanged a look, then both bent down and pried paving stones from the sidewalk, gripping them in their hands.

”Boss, spilling blood with Third Bro isn’t a job for you alone,” Wang Rongfeng said grimly.

”That’s right!” Wu Yan nodded forcefully. ”The four brothers of Dorm 301 fight side by side! How could we run for our lives while you and Third Bro hold the line here?”

”Nonsense!” Liu Zhu’s face darkened as he snapped, ”If you stay, what about the girls? You need to escort them back to school! If anything happens to them, Third Bro and I will have bled for nothing.”

Wang Rongfeng shook his head and said, ”Don’t worry, Boss. We’re only a few hundred meters from the school’s west gate. As long as Lin Xue and the others make it to the entrance, they’ll be perfectly safe. Compared to escorting them, staying here to hold off these punks is more important!”

Wu Yan chimed in, ”Second Bro is right. Nothing can happen between here and the school gate. Even without us escorting them, the girls can get back to school safely!”

Liu Zhu thought for a moment and saw the logic in their words. He nodded. ”Alright, if you want to get your asses kicked together, then stay! Lin Xue, you all go, now! Don’t waste any more time! Second Bro, Fourth Bro, let’s go! We can’t let these bastards keep ganging up on Third Bro!”

”Boss, you’ve got that wrong. What do you mean, ’stay to get our asses kicked’? We’re staying to kick some ass!” With that, Wang Rongfeng raised his paving stone and charged toward the punks.

”Damn right, we’re here to kick ass! Get ’em!” Liu Zhu roared, charging forward.

”Grandsons, your Grandpa Wu is here!” Wu Yan bellowed, charging right behind them.

Although they were outnumbered several times over, not a single person from Dorm 301 backed down. Not one of them was a coward. At that moment, they had only one thought in their minds: ’You dare touch our brother, we’ll fucking kill you!’

Watching the backs of the three men, the four girls were at a loss.

”Xiaoxue, Sister Zier, what do we do?” asked Qi Xia, the adorkable-looking girl with glasses, her voice filled with fear and worry.

”Yeah, what should we do now?” asked another girl named Luo Dan. She was completely panicked and had no idea what to do.

”You guys go. I’m staying!” Yang Zi said in a low voice, also prying a paving stone from the sidewalk. ”I’m going up to help them! This whole thing started because of us. We can’t just let the guys take a beating and bleed for us!”

”Are you crazy? They’re a pack of vicious punks! You think you can beat them?” Qi Xia and Luo Dan said in unison, stunned by Yang Zi’s words.

”I can’t,” Yang Zi said, shaking her head. But her gaze was resolute, showing no sign of backing down. ”But I have to fight anyway!”

With those words, Yang Zi gripped the paving stone and strode toward the fray.

In that moment, her fierce temperament was on full display!

It was as if Mulan were reborn and Gui Ying resurrected!

”Qi Xia, Luo Dan, you two go! Once you get to school, remember to call for help!” Lin Xue also picked up a paving stone and charged after Yang Zi.

Qi Xia and Luo Dan never imagined that Yang Zi and Lin Xue would actually join the fight. They exchanged a look, and for some reason, a surge of Blood Qi shot through their hearts. All their previous fear and panic vanished completely, replaced by courage!

Without a word, both of them bent down, found paving stones on the sidewalk, and gripping them tightly, charged into the fray.

Liu Zhu and his two friends were the first to charge into the brawl. At that moment, the dozen or so punks were still surrounding Zhao Yuan, wildly swinging their clubs and trying to rescue Brother Cheng, whose face he had beaten to a bloody pulp.

As soon as Liu Zhu’s group arrived, they swung their paving stones at the punks. The punks’ attention was entirely on Zhao Yuan. They never expected Liu Zhu and the others to charge in instead of running away scared. Three of them were immediately smashed in the head with the stones. Blood poured from their wounds, and one of them was knocked out cold.

”Fuck, these morons ambushed us!”

”Get ’em!”

”Shit, those girls are here too! Forget it, just beat them down first!”

Seeing Liu Zhu and Lin Xue join the fray, the punks immediately split off several of their own to engage them, intending to teach them a lesson.

”Huuuh...”

After knocking Brother Cheng unconscious, Zhao Yuan let out a heavy breath. He planted his hands firmly on the ground and, with a sudden burst of force, shot to his feet.

His sudden movement deflected several clubs that were swinging down at him. Caught completely off guard, the punks were immediately hit, several of them injured by their own recoiling weapons.

Zhao Yuan spun, lunged, and tackled another punk. He used the same method as before, completely ignoring the attacks from the other punks. He just focused all his strength into punching the punk pinned beneath him over and over, beating his face to a bloody pulp. Once that target was unconscious, he got up and searched for the next.

Brother Cheng’s crew of punks were experienced fighters, but they had never seen an unorthodox, suicidal fighting style like Zhao Yuan’s—completely forgoing defense to relentlessly beat on a single target. What they found most unbelievable, however, was that Zhao Yuan had taken so many heavy blows from their clubs and still hadn’t gone down. ’His ability to take a punch is just too terrifying, isn’t it?’

Finally, when Zhao Yuan took down another punk and stood up to find a new target, all the punks backed away in terror. Even though there were still several of them and only one of him, they were utterly intimidated.

’Who the fuck has ever seen someone fight like this? He just picks one guy and beats him to death’s door. And even though he’s covered in wounds, the bastard just won’t fall. This is fucking terrifying, like some unkillable super boss from a video game!’

The punks were vicious, but they were also afraid of dying. None of them wanted to be Zhao Yuan’s next target.

Especially now. Zhao Yuan was covered in blood—on his body, his hands, his face. His gaze was terrifyingly grim. He looked like a soul-reaping Evil Ghost that had crawled out of Hell, scaring away every last scrap of courage and Blood Qi they had left.

”A Ghost! This kid is a Ghost! Run!”

Finally, one of them couldn’t take the terror anymore. With a strange cry, he dropped his club and ran.

With one person leading the way, the rest followed. One by one, the punks fled until none were left standing. Those who didn’t get away were all taken down by Zhao Yuan and his friends. One of them had nearly all his long hair pulled out—what could he do? His opponents were four girls who had unleashed their primordial strength.
