Divine Level Witch Doctor

Before Han Xiaoyun could ask anything, an authoritative voice boomed from the phone, barking at Fang Yi, ”Give me the phone!”

Fang Yi obediently handed the phone over. Then, Han Xiaoyun heard the voice question her, ”This is Liu Mingzhang. Who are you?”

Han Xiaoyun felt her hand start to tremble.

On one hand, it was because of Liu Mingzhang’s status as a national treasure. On the other, it was because of his infamous temper.

Everyone at West Hua Medical University knew Liu Mingzhang by his nickname, ”Liu Daqiang.” The old man had an explosive temper. Once he got angry, he wouldn’t give anyone face and was guaranteed to point his finger in your face and curse you out.

Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, Han Xiaoyun said timidly, ”Hello, Elder Liu. I’m Han... from the Health Inspection program...”

Liu Mingzhang cut her off impatiently. ”Alright, alright, I don’t have time to find out who you are right now!”

Several dark lines instantly appeared on Han Xiaoyun’s forehead. She couldn’t help but complain in her head, ’You were the one who asked who I was, so how can you say you don’t have time to know in the blink of an eye? You change your tune way too fast.’

Liu Mingzhang had no idea what Han Xiaoyun was thinking. He said furiously, ”Were you the one deleting posts just now? Listen up! Stop your criminal activity immediately and restore every single post that was deleted!”

”Crim... criminal activity?” Han Xiaoyun was dumbfounded. ’Is it really that serious? I just deleted a few meaningless spam replies. How is that a crime? Besides, I didn’t do anything wrong. That person was maliciously flooding the forum. As a moderator, it’s my duty to maintain order!’

Liu Mingzhang was so angry he laughed. ”Hmph, you’ve got some nerve! To actually call a medical treasure meaningless spam! It seems you must have some more profound insights, then?”

”A medical treasure? For real?” Han Xiaoyun cried out in disbelief.

Liu Mingzhang snorted coldly. ”Do you think I would joke with you about something like this? Young lady, do you have any idea that among the replies you just deleted, there was a discourse on Yin Yang that was absolutely brilliant? After reading it, my understanding of Yin Yang deepened by a whole level! No, by several levels!”

”I originally thought that the Yin Yang Theory had been studied to its absolute limits over the past thousand years. But after seeing this discourse, I realized I was wrong—outrageously wrong! This discourse directly elevates Yin Yang Theory to a new level. You could even say it has opened a door for us, bringing us one step closer to the very origin of the world! It’s a pity the discourse isn’t complete. Otherwise, it would have undoubtedly brought about an earth-shattering change to the Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine! This ’man who wants to be a Witch Doctor’ is simply incredible. If I could ever meet him, I would have to humbly ask for his teachings!”

Han Xiaoyun was utterly dumbstruck.

She never would have imagined that the posts she had dismissed as spam meant to flood the forum were actually so incredible that even a great medical master like Liu Mingzhang was deeply impressed, becoming an avid fan of ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor’...

It was only at this moment that Han Xiaoyun finally realized she had truly made a monumental mistake.

Fortunately, this mistake could be remedied.

Han Xiaoyun quickly said, ”Elder Liu, I’ll contact the forum administrator right away and have him restore the posts I deleted.”

This answer lessened Liu Mingzhang’s anger somewhat. ”Mm, be quick about it. I was planning to send that discourse on Yin Yang to a few of my old colleagues so we can study it together.”

Han Xiaoyun didn’t dare to delay. After hanging up, she hurriedly contacted the school forum’s administrator, who was also a teacher at the university.

After hearing what had happened, the teacher quickly logged into the forum’s backend, restored all the replies Han Xiaoyun had deleted, and unbanned the account ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor.’

Seeing everything restored, Han Xiaoyun’s tense heart could finally relax. Then, driven by curiosity, she started browsing the forum.

She didn’t know what to expect, but one look was all it took to shock her.

Han Xiaoyun discovered that a huge pile of replies had appeared after the posts made by ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor.’ Aside from the very first few replies, which were full of doubt, the rest were all cries of amazement, admiration, and outright worship.

In particular, beneath the thread with the discourse on Yin Yang that Elder Liu had mentioned, a massive crowd was ”kneeling” in reverence! And every single one of them had a verification symbol next to their ID!

On the West Hua Medical University forums, only two types of people could get verified: one was the university’s own teachers and professors, and the other was renowned experts from the medical field.

These people were all elites, even great gods, of the medical world. Normally, they just lurked and rarely ever showed themselves. But now, they had all surfaced en masse, nearly blinding Han Xiaoyun’s eyes.

”This discourse on Yin Yang is the most brilliant I’ve ever seen! After reading it, I’ve had many new insights into the principles of Yin Yang! Thank you, ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor.’ You have become my teacher with this single post!” wrote someone verified as the director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine department at a top-tier hospital, holding ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor’ in the highest regard.

His reply was still relatively reserved. Many of the replies from students in the Traditional Chinese Medicine department below it, however, had completely thrown their dignity to the wind.

”Does anyone have the contact info for ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor’? I want to become his disciple! I’d even offer up my ass for it!”

”Where did this Great God come from? I’m on my knees! This whole discourse is so profound yet easy to understand. It’s absolutely brilliant!”

”Honey, come and see God! To be able to explain Yin Yang Theory like this... it’s like Hua Tuo and Bian Que have been reborn!”

”Begging for the Great God’s contact info! I want to have his babies!”

”You wish, poster above! I’ve already claimed the Great God!”

Someone verified as the president of another medical university went even further and posted directly: ”Requesting contact information. Our university wishes to hire ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor’ as a lecturer for our Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine course!”

Liu Mingzhang also joined in on the fun, using his own account to post a thread titled, ”A New Chapter in Yin Yang Theory Begins Today, Pioneered by ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor’!”

Without a doubt, the title was quite startling, but not a single person thought it was inappropriate. This was because everyone who understood the discourse on Yin Yang had a similar thought.

And why wouldn’t they? That discourse was something Zhao Yuan had transcribed from his Inheritance Seed—the crystallized essence of Wu Peng’s entire life’s research!

How could the principles of Yin Yang, as explained by someone who had once been a spokesperson for the Celestial Dao and possessed an incomparably thorough understanding of Yin Yang, be anything less than brilliant?

Over the next few days, countless Traditional Chinese Medicine experts who got wind of the news flooded the West Hua Medical University forums like a tidal wave, even causing the site to crash from the excessive load. At the same time, the rather bizarre ID, ’the man who wants to be a Witch Doctor,’ quickly spread throughout the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine, becoming a legend that countless people sought to find.
