Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict

Chapter 1143: 1142 He really agreed with you

Mo Xiuchen bowed his head, his thin lips kissing her forehead gently, his large hand caressing her back, and he apologized, “Ranran, from now on, I won’t be so careless. I will definitely protect you and our two babies.”

“I shouldn’t have said those things either.”

Wen Ran’s voice was soft and gentle in his arms, filled with apology like his.

“It’s okay, don’t feel guilty.” Mo Xiuchen’s hand caressed her cheek, and he gazed at her tenderly, “Let’s put the past behind us. I didn’t rest on the plane, let’s sleep first.”

“Okay.”

Wen Ran gently nodded in response to his tender gaze.

The next morning, Wen Ran and Mo Xiuchen accompanied Momo for a thorough check-up.

The results showed that Momo was very healthy.

When they returned to the room with Momo, Bai Yiyi’s call came through.

“Ranran, did you take Momo for a check-up?”

Bai Yiyi asked over the phone.

Wen Ran looked at Momo, who was held in Mo Xiuchen’s arms, and said with a smile, “We just got back from the check-up.”

“I asked Li En before, and he said he didn’t do anything to Momo, you don’t have to worry,” Bai Yiyi hesitated on the other end of the line, then continued to reassure Wen Ran.

“Yiyi, did you go abroad with him because of Momo?”

Wen Ran lay down on the bed, Mo Xiuchen adjusted the head of the bed to a suitable height, and placed a pillow for her, she shifted to lie in the most comfortable position.

“Mm.” Bai Yiyi didn’t elaborate, just hummed softly, not wanting to discuss why Li En used Momo to threaten her.

Next to them, Tongtong whimpered because she couldn’t reach the syringe she threw out, and Bai Yiyi said she would visit the hospital again in the afternoon before ending the call.

Mo Xiuchen took away the phone and handed Momo to Wen Ran.

“Ranran, you feed Momo first, she must be hungry, she’s sucking her own fingers.”

Mo Xiuchen smiled as he wiped Momo’s saliva-wet fingers, turned around, and picked up Ziyi who had been left aside for a while.

“Okay.”

Wen Ran hadn’t yet lifted her shirt when Momo burrowed toward her chest. That adorable action reminded Wen Ran of the rabbit she had as a child, how the unopened eyes of newborn rabbits frantically searched for milk.

“Baby, don’t rush.”

She laughed softly, comforting her.

Momo was truly hungry, and once she found her mother’s food, she began eating voraciously, showing no ladylike image. Seeing his sister in their mother’s arms, Ziyi, held by Mo Xiuchen, also struggled ‘forcefully’ in his small body, not wanting his father to hold him, but looking for his mother.

“Son, you have to wait in line.”

Mo Xiuchen turned Ziyi’s face away so he couldn’t see Wen Ran and Momo.

With his face turned aside, Ziyi’s body still strained toward the direction he was initially facing, his eyes looked at Mo Xiuchen with pitiful accusation, as if complaining about his father’s harshness.

“Mo Xiuchen, stop teasing our son.”

Wen Ran couldn’t stand by any longer and interrupted Mo Xiuchen with a laugh to stop him from mistreating their son. She wasn’t sure if it was her words that worked or if Ziyi’s patience had run out. As she finished speaking, Ziyi puckered his lips and began to cry loudly.

“Real men don’t cry tears, only bleed, no crying,” Mo Xiuchen said as he turned around, his back facing Wen Ran, and gave Ziyi a stern look.

“Waaah…”

Ziyi looked at his serious face and tightly closed his eyes, crying even louder than before.

“Ranran, you feed Momo first, I’ll take Ziyi out for a walk, and we will come back soon,” Mo Xiuchen said before Wen Ran could scold him and quickly left the hospital room with his son.

After closing the door, his stern expression softened, and he gently patted his son, saying quietly, “Ziyi, don’t cry, don’t cry. Daddy is not mad at you anymore.”

“Young Master Mo, let me hold the little master,” Qing Feng asked Mo Xiuchen, trying to please him.

“Didn’t you see Ziyi crying? When he cries, only I can calm him down,” Mo Xiuchen glared at him and carried Ziyi towards the elevator. “Son, don’t cry. Daddy will take you to the nursery to see the cute girls.”

Behind him, Qing Feng heard Mo Xiuchen’s words, his lips twitching wildly. Was this the usually dignified and cold Young Master Mo? He was actually using cute girls to soothe Ziyi.

When Mo Xiuchen reached the turn of the corridor with Ziyi, the crying gradually subsided. Perhaps knowing that crying was futile, he opened his teary eyes and looked up at Mo Xiuchen’s handsome face.

“Son, don’t cry anymore.”

Mo Xiuchen felt a huge relief when his son finally stopped crying.

During these days, he had gotten to know Ziyi’s temperament well—only the person who upset him could console him; no one else could.

Such a small fellow, already showing such stubbornness, he worried about what would happen when his son grew up. When Ziyi got a bit older, he would definitely need some serious education.

Thinking so, Mo Xiuchen couldn’t help but chuckle again.

Though Ziyi was young, he was Mo Xiuchen’s son, after all; of course, he needed to have a personality.

“Son, let’s go back and find Mommy,” Mo Xiuchen said as he walked with Ziyi back towards the hospital room without letting him see the girls in the nursery room.

Apparently, like his dad, Ziyi wasn’t interested in pretty girls; he was more eager to go back to his mom, where there was food.

When they returned to the hospital room, Wen Ran had just finished feeding Momo, and Mo Xiuchen switched with Wen Ran. He took their daughter, and Wen Ran took Ziyi.

“Mo Xiuchen, Momo just ate. Don’t let her lie down flat,” Wen Ran said as she took her son and changed the way she held him, advising Mo Xiuchen.

“I know, don’t worry,” Mo Xiuchen said confidently. He had become quite skilled, a fully qualified daddy. He sat beside Wen Ran, holding their daughter, and said with a smile, “Ranran, besides you feeding Ziyi and Momo, leave everything else to me.”

“Don’t you need to work?” Wen Ran asked him with a smile.

Mo Xiuchen’s handsome brows arched proudly, and his smile grew even more triumphant. “Ah Mu and I reached an agreement. He stays in G City, and he’ll take over as president for now. Whenever he gets married and has girl and boy twins, I’ll go back to work and give him a year-long break.”

“Are girl and boy twins that easy to come by? It’s not like buying something,” Wen Ran’s mouth twitched in disbelief as she looked at Mo Xiuchen. Besides, Qin Mu wasn’t a fool; how could he possibly agree to such terms?

Hearing her, Mo Xiuchen became even prouder. “Of course, girl and boy twins aren’t easy to come by, so I can rest assured staying at home with you and our son and daughter. Ah Mu doesn’t even have a girlfriend yet. Who knows when he will have twins?”

“Did he really agree to this?”

Wen Ran asked the crucial question, disbelieving that Qin Mu would agree.

“Whether he agrees or not isn’t important. I don’t have time to work now, and he can’t return to City C anyway. I have earned enough money to support you all for a lifetime. From now on, I’ll stay home with you all.”

Mo Xiuchen seemed entirely content to continue being a stay-at-home dad indefinitely.
