Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

There were too many people like Cobra. There were many criminals who were even more powerful than Cobra. The government wouldn’t care about Cobra. To them, they would be safer if all these people were killed.

Xia Jinyuan didn’t expect to step into the Molaban again.

However, he had nothing to worry about. Everyone who saw him in the past had been killed. No one would recognize him if he appeared again.

He wasn’t worried about what danger he would encounter if he stepped on Molaban again. At this moment, he was frowning as he wondered why the country that placed the scientist under house arrest would secretly send his wife and children to Molaban.

Why did they make such an arrangement?

Wouldn’t it be better to place them under house arrest in their country?

They could let their own people watch over them and not let outsiders come into contact with them. At the same time, they could also monitor the friends of the scientists. It was beneficial to have them stay in their country.

Why did they have to be sent to Molaban?

Xia Jinyuan didn’t know what the purpose of this arrangement was. Perhaps Alice Cheng, the Chinese wife of the scientist, would have the answer.

They arrived at Molaban three days later. The next day, the embassy secretly sent eight cell phones to the eight of them. The numbers they used were all three to four years old. They had been maintaining a record of phone calls every month. That meant that if someone came to check their communication, they wouldn’t be able to find anything.

The first thing the eight people remembered was each other’s mobile phone numbers.

They chose some important numbers to memorize. There was no need to memorize the rest.

In order to protect the eight special forces soldiers who were now illegal mercenaries, the country had helped them with all the details they could so that there wouldn’t be any hidden dangers in the future.

Ye Jian was best at memorizing numbers.

The people sent by the embassy stayed in Xia Jinyuan’s room for about half an hour before leaving. An hour later, Xia Jinyuan called the other six people to his room for another meeting.

Ye Jian and Xia Jinyuan ate, lived, and slept on the same bed as each other as lovers.

”Someone will pick us up in the afternoon and bring us to see an auction of all the Chinese cultural relics. Our mission is to snatch two of the cultural relics with a higher commission. The person we’re facing is one of the top local tyrants in the city. No one has ever succeeded or left alive.

”The employer is very generous. If a mercenary dies, he’ll compensate us with 200,000 USD. If we successfully snatch the cultural relics he needs, everyone will be paid 100,000 USD. We’ll also be rewarded with 50,000 USD which we can split among ourselves.

”Brothers, aren’t you excited to accept such a big order on your first visit?”

After receiving the mission, Xia Jinyuan was quite relaxed. There was no sign of uneasiness or fear. He was the captain and the backbone of the entire team. If he panicked and was afraid, he would be utterly useless.

Ye Jian waited for him to finish speaking before raising her question.

First, why did they have to go to the territory of the local tyrant to snatch cultural relics? What was the reason?

Second, what was the identity of the person coming to pick them up? Did he know about their mission? Did he know why they came? Why was he helping them?

These questions were of utmost importance.
