Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

This time, it was alright. Only the enemies died, not their own. They didn’t see their comrades fall with their own eyes. Just their physiological reaction was enough to show that the female soldiers had strong minds.

After the battle, Ye Jian, who was wary of cold possible snipers from the other party, heard the female soldiers vomiting. Her heart ached as she looked behind her. She sighed softly.

There would always be such a process. It would pass.

Five minutes later, Ye Jian retreated back to the hill under the cover of Xia Jinyuan and White Crane. The female soldiers had stopped vomiting, but their faces were pale.

Ye Jian opened her arms and hugged the female soldiers. Her clear voice came slowly. ”You’re very brave. You’re even braver than I thought. In my heart, you’re real female special forces soldiers.”

”Instructor Ye…” Gao Xiao buried her head in Ye Jian’s shoulder. Her hands were still trembling. She was even more anxious than before the combat. ”Aren’t you afraid?”

She asked in a low voice.

Ye Jian smiled slightly. ”I started my mission when I was still in my first year. I’m not unfamiliar with combat situations such as today’s.

”At first, I was afraid too, but later, I wasn’t afraid anymore. We’re fighting for justice, so don’t feel burdened.

”We trained for so long for a crucial moment. Now is that crucial moment. You’re female special forces soldiers. You can’t be defeated so easily.”

Perhaps it was because of Ye Jian’s consolation, but the female soldiers’ expressions gradually improved.

The male soldiers were in a slightly better situation than the female soldiers. Only a few of them had pale faces. The first time they killed an enemy with a gun in their hands and saw so many lives die at the hands of their guns, they all had a psychological process.

The entire combat lasted for less than an hour. The rebels acted on impulse and pointed their guns at the Chinese peacekeeping soldiers who were well prepared and on standby to fight at any time. They were doomed from the moment they drew their guns.

All the rebels had been wiped out. The news report didn’t release all the casualties. This was to protect the soldiers and not stimulate the nerves of the rebels.

After the combat ended, the event location was in a mess. No one cleaned up the scene, let alone care about the corpses lying on the ground. Five trucks carried the peacekeeping soldiers and quickly left the battlefield, heading toward the camp.

One of their soldiers was shot in the arm, and his wound was casually bandaged. They had to rush back to the camp as soon as possible to take out the bullet.

The female soldiers in the truck didn’t let down their guard just because the truck had started moving again. They didn’t dare to relax until they reached the camp.

Even though the tragic scene of the enemy’s defeat would appear in their minds from time to time and even though they felt a little flustered when they recalled the scene, they couldn’t relax.

Ye Jian shouldered the burden of the female soldiers and chatted with them along the way. She mentioned two things that she had experienced in the past.

She didn’t reveal the date and time, so the female soldiers thought that the missions she mentioned happened during the nine months she was away.

With Ye Jian’s timely guidance and the fact that Ye Jian was the instructor of the female soldiers, they trusted Ye Jian very much. Gradually, the female soldiers relaxed and slowly moved on from the battlefield.

As special forces soldiers, their tolerance was much stronger than ordinary soldiers. Their resistance to pressure was also much stronger. After all, they had to carry out high-risk missions. They only needed to clear the path effectively and they would be able to survive.
