The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

”Alright, I’ll take a step back!”

Avidan Hartman weighed the pros and cons and found that winning or losing this battle seemed to have no benefit, so he made a decision without hesitation: ”You can leave, but Nereida Nash must stay. Let’s pretend today never happened!”

Carson Flores turned his head to Theo: ”I want to protect her, is that alright?”

Theo rolled her eyes: ”I’ll help you this once. If he catches up again, or brings others, I won’t help, I’ll just make a run for it!”

Carson laughed: ”Alright, just this once for her.”

Theo turned her head, looking at Avidan Hartman, and said coldly: ”You heard it, you can’t take her today. If you want to take her back, come back next time.”

Avidan Hartman’s eyes were cold as he stared at Carson.

Carson shrugged, spreading his hands, assuming an indifferent posture.

Suddenly, Avidan Hartman raised his hand, and the myriad of Flying Swords in the sky instantly moved, transforming into a river of Flying Swords, like a falling Star River, rushing towards Theo.

Endless Demonic Qi surged from Theo’s body, turning into serpents of Demonic Qi, seemingly alive, meeting the falling Flying Swords overhead.

Serpent after serpent of Demonic Qi was crushed, and sword after sword was sent flying, shooting in all directions scattered.

The whole island shattered violently from this collision, the Sword Qi instantly ripping through the surrounding thousand-mile sea area, the sea surface also raised a thousand-meter high wave, the scene resembling doomsday.

Carson watched the scene, with a heart full of shock.

So powerful!

Luckily Theo was here, otherwise, this time could have been disastrous.

Not sure what method Avidan Hartman used on Nereida Nash, looks like after this, Nereida Nash still needs to hide in the Ethereal Pagoda, temporarily unable to leave, otherwise, Avidan Hartman will definitely sense it, and then it would be bad.

The river of Flying Swords gathered in thousands couldn’t shatter the black ocean formed by Demonic Qi, turning into countless raindrops, falling everywhere.

The black Demonic Qi blocked the myriad of Flying Swords, steadily protecting everyone below.

At this moment, the entire small island only had the area under everyone’s feet that wasn’t completely destroyed.

The Starry Sky Magical Beasts are indeed fierce!

Even though not yet mature, already possessing the strength to suppress a Peak Great Land True Immortal, just from the grand scene of Demonic Qi and Flying Sword collision alone, it’s clear that although Theo is strong, she hasn’t reached the point where she can instantaneously suppress or even kill Avidan Hartman.

Avidan Hartman, after an all-out strike failed, realized he couldn’t take Nereida Nash today, waved his hand, and the myriad of Flying Swords flew back, like thousands of birds returning to the forest, into his sleeves.

Avidan Hartman glanced at Nereida Nash, saying in a deep voice: ”You will pay the price for your choice today.”

After saying this, Avidan Hartman didn’t bother with Carson, his figure flashed, turning into a beam of light and instantly went far away.

Carson breathed a sigh of relief, he had to admit, the pressure from top-level powerhouses was too strong.

Carson’s current Combat Power was very strong, he could already fight across realms, possibly even defeat a Superior Grade Great Land Supreme Immortal, but in front of someone like Avidan Hartman, a Peak Great Land True Immortal, he still had no means to fight back.

He was still too weak!

Carson turned to ask Theo: ”How strong is he?”

Theo replied: ”Very strong, I can defeat him, but it’s very difficult to kill him.”

Carson nodded, candidly saying: ”If we can’t provoke him, let’s hide. We’re going to flee anyway, it’s no big deal, but Immortal Nash has surely been affected by Avidan Hartman’s methods, can you find out what it is?”

Theo shook her head: ”I’m not good at that.”

Carson turned helplessly, staring at Nereida Nash: ”Immortal Nash, the good news is we’ve weathered this calamity, the bad news is you probably can’t stay outside. My magical treasure can block tracking senses; you have to stay inside temporarily until I find a more powerful person who might be able to identify the method binding you and solve it.”

Nereida Nash nodded without hesitation: ”I listen to you, my lord!”

Carson stared at Nereida Nash, smiling: ”You might need to stay inside for many years, can you handle it, or do you have other plans?”

Nereida Nash shook her head: ”I originally had nowhere to go, and since I have a tracking method on me, if I leave, I’m afraid I’ll be caught back in no time.”

”No matter how long I live in the pagoda, there’s always hope. You saved my life, my lord, I’ll do whatever you want me to do.”

Carson waved his hand: ”It’s not that dramatic; there’s just no way now. Once this matter is resolved, you can go wherever you want.”

The nearby Nerisse Blaine suddenly spoke with a light laugh: ”Niall Sinclair from the Abyssal Sect is also by your side, so with this, you have two of the Three Goddesses of the Northern Sea with you...”

Carson jokingly said: ”Yeah, why don’t you join in too, to make it complete?”
