The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2234: Chapter 2234: Super Player?

Hmm?

Carson Flores felt his mind short-circuit.

The woman who had just kissed Gabriel Lozano was now hugging him, using a coy tone to tell him that she and Gabriel Lozano were just pretending, and that she actually liked him?

Oh my, why does this tactic feel so familiar?

Femmes fatales?

Cast a wide net, keep many suitors?

Carson didn’t know what to say, remaining silent for a moment. However, this silence, in the woman’s eyes, was a sign of his anger.

Men, when they’re angry, don’t they just like to stay silent?

Men’s silence signifies their anger, signifies defiance.

The beautiful woman chuckled softly, reaching out to wrap her arm around Carson Flores’ waist, her voice tender: ”Please don’t be mad, brother Sen. Haven’t I explained it to you? I’m with Senior Brother Lu because of family reasons, just putting on a show. The one I truly like is you. Don’t you believe me?”

As the beautiful woman spoke, she once again moved closer to Carson, tiptoeing, tilting her head up, and kissed Carson directly.

Carson instinctively turned his head aside, so the kiss didn’t land on his lips but on his cheek.

The touch was gentle, but Carson felt no romantic excitement, instead, he felt like he was facing a formidable enemy.

Delarosa’s voice echoed in his mind, relaying Kyson Howell’s words.

”That woman named Icy Watson, her father is an Inner Sect backbone, her grandfather is an Inner Gate Senior Level, the Great Land Sovereign. Icy Watson was born late, being the youngest daughter in the family, she is deeply adored, so she is often unruly.”

”Icy Watson likes the feeling of being pursued. She hasn’t joined the Inner Sect due to her age and skills, but she has flirted with several of the most outstanding Outer Sect disciples.”

”There are naturally many beautiful female cultivators in the Outer Sect, but because Icy Watson has a solid background, is beautiful, and adept at flirting, many Outer Sect elite disciples are infatuated with her. Rumor has it she has been with many, enjoying conquering all sorts of men...”

”She and Gabriel Lozano are in a covert relationship, but she seems unsatisfied with only him, now she’s ensnared me too, claiming with me that she and Gabriel are just using each other, not true love, and says the one she truly loves is me...”

”I don’t know if she’s telling the truth or not, but regardless, I couldn’t resist her charms. One night after drinking, we ended up in bed together.”

”Initially, I felt very sorry towards Gabriel Lozano for what happened, but after what she said, I got lost in her charms and ended up being with her.”

”Her relationship with Gabriel is also a secret; sometimes I wonder if there are others, just like Gabriel and me, trapped by her allure, unable to extricate themselves, but even if this thought crosses my mind, and even if this is the truth, I find it doesn’t matter. To me, she’s like the bright moon in the sky, and being with her in any way feels like my fortune.”

Carson, listening to Delarosa relay the message, was utterly bewildered.

Oh wow, she turned out to be a socialite of the Immortal Sect.

This Icy Watson is quite privileged; despite her age confining her to the Outer Sect, her family status allows her to disregard all distractions and focus on cultivation, yet she deliberately engages in all these affairs, clearly a problem of her own making.

Keeping options open?

Carson had seen plenty of similar stories in the Mortal Realm, where beautiful women kept loyal pursuers hanging by offering simple promises or minor indulgences, letting them blindly devote themselves as she enjoyed their efforts without guilt.

Carson couldn’t believe he encountered such a familiar story even in the Immortal Realm!

Icy Watson held Carson, noticing his lack of response, instinctively assuming he was jealous after seeing her with Gabriel Lozano. She chuckled softly, her voice becoming even softer and sweeter.

”Brother Sen, brother, you’re not seriously mad at me, are you? I’d be heartbroken if you are. I understand if others don’t, but if you don’t, I’d be really upset...”

Icy Watson said a lot but saw Carson remained unmoved, secretly annoyed, she directly grabbed Carson’s hand, pressing it onto her soft chest.

”Brother Sen, feel my heartbeat and you’ll know I’m telling the truth. Although what I did might make you uncomfortable, you should feel that my heart is entirely with you. It’s beating passionately because of you. Can you feel it?”

Carson felt his hand touch a delicate softness, his emotions became quite complicated.

Oh boy, you’re playing the sincerity card with me now?

You’re a true femme fatale, aren’t you?

Do you say the same thing to every man?

Just as Carson was pondering, Icy Watson suddenly giggled: ”Don’t tease me, brother Sen. Isn’t this what excites you the most? In bed, whenever I mentioned Senior Brother Lu, you’d instantly get so enthusiastic... want to try it now?”
