The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2201: Chapter 2201: Light at the End of the Tunnel

Everyone in the cage stared at Carson Flores, their eyes filled with fear, as if Carson had crawled out of the depths of Hell as an Evil Ghost.

These people clearly regarded Carson as one of the Bloody Hand Group.

Carson didn’t bother to explain, he walked up to the young man and calmly gazed at him: ”Do you know where the Harmony Spring is? Tell me, and you can regain your freedom.”

The young man’s eyes lit up: ”Will you swear?”

Carson nodded: ”As long as the information you provide is true, I can swear, and I’ll keep my word.”

The young man hastily nodded: ”I can tell you, but you must release my sister too.”

Carson looked puzzled: ”Your sister?”

The young man stepped aside, and only then did Carson notice someone hiding in the corner of the cage—a little girl about five or six years old, exquisitely beautiful, but dirty, huddled in the corner with eyes full of terror.

Carson nodded readily: ”No problem.”

Naturally, Carson intended to release everyone, but before the threat of death, perhaps this young man would be more willing to reveal the information about the Harmony Spring; otherwise, releasing him without assurance could prove troublesome.

The young man whispered: ”I will only tell you alone, come closer.”

Carson walked up to the cage, the young man leaned forward and whispered: ”Green Bird City recently discovered a new Secret Realm, within which the shadow of the Harmony Spring was found, but the place is said to be fraught with danger. So far, Green Bird City hasn’t secured it; they’re still exploring and developing slowly...”

Carson stared at the young man and asked softly: ”How do you know this?”

The young man whispered: ”I’m a disciple from Green Bird City. This matter has been sealed from above, forbidding dissemination, or else face the Sect’s punishment. But now, to survive, I’ve had to disregard all that. Please, sir, keep this secret, don’t reveal I said this, or today you release me, tomorrow I might face punishment by the Sect.”

Carson nodded: ”Come on, make an oath?”

Without hesitation, the young man swore a Heavenly Oath, and it was a particularly vicious one.

It’s possible the young man fabricated it just to survive, swore falsely, handling the immediate situation first, but Carson intended to release them anyway, so he chose to believe.

If it’s false, we can think of a way to verify later.

Carson’s gaze fell on the little girl behind him: ”Your sister?”

The young man whispered: ”A cousin.”

Carson nodded: ”Is there anything else you want to add?”

The young man whispered: ”Currently, only Green Bird City knows about this Secret Realm; other Sects are unaware, so to enter the Secret Realm, one must be a disciple of Green Bird City, recognized by the Sect to gain entry...”

Carson nodded: ”Do you know the location of the Secret Realm?”

The young man shook his head: ”This matter is a high-level secret within the Sect. I found out by sheer coincidence, and I don’t know the exact location, but many outstanding disciples from the Sect have entered it, they surely know.”

Carson nodded, not anxious, after all, obtaining the information about the Harmony Spring was already a great result; as for the rest, we can take it slow.

Suddenly, Carson’s body surged with fierce Sword Qi, the Sword Qi seemed alive as it flew up and swiftly sliced down, instantly severing the pillars of the iron cages.

Everyone watched this scene in shock, their eyes filled with disbelief.

What was this young man going to do?

Carson calmly said: ”All members of the Bloody Hand Group have been subdued by me. You’re free now. If you want revenge, you can. They’re outside; you can do whatever you want to them.”

Everyone’s eyes widened with shock.

Have we been saved?

Carson didn’t look at the scantily-clad female cultivators, he turned calmly: ”Sister Zi Yun, it’s all yours.”

”Alright!”

Carson stepped out of the cave, looking up at the sky.

The sky was clear, the sun shone brightly, yet this cave was filled with sin, despair, and fear, like Hell.

Soon, the trapped people all left the cave, once again standing under the sunlight, the female cultivators now wearing new clothes. Seeing the members of the Bloody Hand Group subdued, their eyes turned red.

As female cultivators, their experiences here were much more tragic than male cultivators; their eyes burned with fury, they charged towards the members of the Bloody Hand Group like mad.

Screams rang out one after another as members of the Bloody Hand Group paid the price for their actions.

When the women stopped, the members of the Bloody Hand Group had become piles of rotten flesh, dead beyond death.

Samson Duncan didn’t escape either; a female cultivator skinned him alive with countless Sword Qi. With every strike, he let out a scream, dying in extreme misery.

Carson watched calmly, while the young man brought the little girl to Carson’s side, bowing and saluting: ”Thank you, Fellow Daoist, for rescuing us. This great kindness will never be forgotten, if there’s a chance, I will spare no effort, disregarding life and death, to repay this great kindness.”

Carson smiled: ”You have provided me the information I wanted; that is repayment.”

The young man hesitated, whispered: ”If Fellow Daoist intends to go to Green Bird City, I’m willing to assist you.”
