The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Capítulo 2209: Chapter 2209: Beneath the All Living Beings Cauldron, All Are Equal!

Sergio Wilkins left with a complicated mood.

He didn’t expect Carson Flores would actually release the True Soul and cancel his control.

Selah Ellison Venerable One laughed and said, “Sergio Wilkins has a limitless future, and you just let him go so freely. That’s quite generous of you.”

Carson Flores smiled and said, “I don’t have a deep grudge against him. After spending several years together, we are like friends. Why keep something in hand, making a knot in each other’s heart? Giving him freedom is ultimately a human favor. Surely, he won’t come back to trouble me once he becomes powerful, right?”

Selah Ellison Venerable One chuckled, “That’s certainly not going to happen. He actually respects you quite a bit. Besides, he knows the Dark Ancestral Dragon, knows Delarosa, knows the existence of Ben Singleton. To find trouble with you would be asking for trouble himself.”

As they were chatting, many people around them were running outwards. Carson Flores stopped one casually: “What’s happening?”

A passerby replied, “The second round of the Immortal Hall Disciple examination has started. Everyone is rushing to watch the excitement.”

Carson Flores released the passerby, turned back with a smile and said, “Surely there are many talented prodigies. Let’s also go and see, broaden our perspectives.”

Looking left and right, Carson Flores muttered, “Where did Spencer run off to? She suddenly disappeared again…”

Selah Ellison Venerable One laughed, “She isn’t a little girl anymore; she’s a Great Land Fairy herself. What’s there to worry about in this Tianyu City? You’re just too concerned.”

Carson Flores touched his nose, smiled, and said, “I subconsciously overlook her age and strength, always feeling she’s still very young and needs care…”

Selah Ellison Venerable One reached out to hold Carson’s arm, giggling, “You saved her, you’re her master; it’s natural to feel this way.”

“Indeed!”

Carson Flores laughed freely, “She’s in her thirties or forties. Not young at all. I keep having this wrong impression. Alright, let’s go.”

The two arrived at the field outside the city, where they saw a giant ship in front of the Myriad Immortals Palace towering like a fortress, with a three-legged giant cauldron standing like a small mountain, emanating a faint blue glow.

Many cultivators who passed the first round were being squeezed at the forefront of the crowd, forming a separate formation. At a glance, there were no less than thousands.

Carson Flores exclaimed, “Does the Immortal Path disciple recruit so many people?”

Someone next to him casually replied, “They don’t recruit so many people. These are just those who passed the first round; the second round will weed out many, perhaps followed by a third round. The Myriad Immortals Palace recruits disciples as elite core trainees, not just for sweeping floors and miscellaneous chores. They want all geniuses and prodigies, not those ordinary beings.”

Carson Flores looked at the giant cauldron ahead and asked, “Is this cauldron for the second round test? How does the testing work?”

The man next to him seemed well-informed and said proudly, “You might not know. That cauldron is called the All Living Beings Cauldron, taking the meaning of equality among all living beings. Participants will climb up along the three legs of the cauldron, finally entering the cauldron, then through its heart, and finally up to the top of the three-legged cauldron to pass the examination.”

Selah Ellison Venerable One asked curiously, “Just climbing up like that? Are there any challenges?”

The man replied, “The unique aspect of the All Living Beings Cauldron is that regardless of your strength, within the range of this cauldron, you will endure corresponding pressure, placing all participants on the same level. That’s the idea of equality among all beings. Of course, there’s no absolute fairness in the world. The stronger you are and the more means you have, the more advantageous you will be in the examination, able to advance further, having a higher potential to pass the various tests of the All Living Beings Cauldron.”

Carson Flores gazed at the far-off giant cauldron, “Various tests?”

The man chuckled, “Yes, pressure is the most basic test. Then, there are illusions, heart-questioning, and various other tests. Different positions within the cauldron have different functions, causing varying troubles for participants. In short, anyone who fully passes is certainly not an ordinary person.”

Carson Flores nodded, gaining a basic understanding of the examination, and his gaze shifted to those preparing to participate in the test.

These cultivators were primarily from the Human Race, but there were also Sea Tribe, Nether Tribe, Barbarian Tribe, and Demon Race, etc., each having distinct appearances. These individuals were evidently powerful prodigies, each glancing around with pride and a hidden sense of challenge, like hedgehogs with prickles raised.

Ahead, the Myriad Immortals Palace’s conductor had already announced the rules and started the examination.

The rules were simple: within a certain time limit, reach the platform at the top of the All Living Beings Cauldron to pass this round; those who don’t will be eliminated.

The three legs of the cauldron stretched down like three mountain ranges, and thousands of participants surged towards the cauldron, stepping onto the three legs as if climbing mountains, heading upwards.

Carson Flores scanned the plethora of climbers, suddenly pausing his gaze and staring tightly at a graceful figure, his expression shocked.

“Spencer!”
