The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2071: Chapter 2071: I Totally Understand You

In the Ethereal Pagoda, Carson Flores landed in front of Sergio Wilkins, sitting cross-legged, staring at him with a subtle expression.

Sergio Wilkins originally didn’t intend to pay Carson Flores any attention, but being stared at with such a peculiar gaze, he couldn’t stand it for long and opened his eyes: ”If you want to say something, just say it. If you want to kill me, then kill me. Why are you just staring at me?”

Carson Flores sighed: ”Speaking of which, you were considered a prodigious talent. At such a young age, you’ve reached the Great Land Double Layer Realm; you should be a source of pride for your parents. Yet, you’ve become an inconvenience...”

Sergio Wilkins’ eyes reddened slightly: ”You’ve already reached the Heaven One Sect and seen him?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”Yes, I am now at the gates of the Heaven One Sect.”

Sergio Wilkins’ gaze involuntarily tensed up, and his body subconsciously stiffened: ”What did he say?”

Sergio Wilkins tried to appear indifferent, but his body betrayed his inner feelings.

He cared a lot.

Carson Flores laughed: ”I haven’t seen him.”

Sergio Wilkins was momentarily stunned, then let out a long sigh of relief; however, before he could speak, Carson Flores spoke again.

”But I saw your sister, Linette Peay. The letter I originally intended to deliver to your father ended up in her hands...”

Sergio Wilkins’ face flushed instantly, glaring at Carson Flores: ”What did she say?”

Carson Flores remained silent, but the silence was an unspoken answer.

Sergio Wilkins’ tense body suddenly softened, a self-mocking smile appearing on his face: ”Why would she care about me? To her, I’m the evidence of her father’s infidelity. She probably wishes I were dead or had never existed in this world at all, right?”

Carson Flores looked into Sergio Wilkins’ eyes: ”Something like that... You don’t hate her?”

Sergio Wilkins shook his head, whispering: ”Why would I hate her? If I were in her place, I’d probably feel the same.”

Carson Flores smiled: ”You’re quite capable of empathy, but the question we face now is that we’re uncertain about your father’s attitude towards you. Since we can’t see him, what do you suggest we do?”

Sergio Wilkins’ expression gradually calmed: ”Kill me, the simplest solution.”

Carson Flores laughed: ”If one can live, who wants to die? Even if your Primordial Spirit is destroyed, you can undergo Nirvana Rebirth, but you’ll lose more in the future. Besides, don’t you want to use this opportunity to find out your standing in your father’s heart?”

Sergio Wilkins’ eyes slightly brightened, then dimmed again: ”But we can’t see him, can we?”

Carson Flores laughed: ”If we can’t see him, we can find a way. There are always more solutions than difficulties. The key is whether you want to meet him?”

Sergio Wilkins coldly laughed: ”If I don’t want to meet him, does that mean you won’t?”

Carson Flores nodded: ”We could also return to the Three Saints Sect and have a talk with them.”

Sergio Wilkins eyed Carson Flores with clear distrust: ”Why, the Three Saints Sect might not back down just for me. After all, it’s not only the use of military force against the Thunder Immortal Realm that’s at stake, but also because you killed Tori Greene and Emmett Rhodes. If the Three Saints Sect doesn’t kill you, what face do they have?”

Carson Flores laughed: ”If that’s what they definitely want to do, then let’s give it a try. Let’s just say, my escape skills are top-notch. If it really comes down to a fight, I might not be the one at a disadvantage.”

”Besides, I do have some affection for the Thunder Immortal Realm, but not much. I’ll do my best, so my conscience is clear. If the outcome is destined to be a tragedy, then at worst I’ll wipe out the Three Saints Sect in revenge for them later.”

”Although my talent is not as great as yours, I have fought my way up from the Lower Realm, and there are quite a few destroyed Sects along my path. Adding one more Three Saints Sect is no big problem.”

”Don’t think I’m just boasting; the Immortal Path is long. A hundred, a thousand years, who can say for sure? Oh, let me remind you, the dragon you think is in the Realm of the Mystic Elephant is not actually just that. He fell to that Realm because of some events, but that doesn’t mean he’s at that level.”

Sergio Wilkins’ pupils slightly constricted. So the dragon is not merely in the Realm of the Mystic Elephant?

Then what Realm is it?

Jade Purity or Great Perfection?

Or even higher?

Sergio Wilkins couldn’t help but ask: ”If his Realm is so high, why stay in the Thunder Immortal Realm, a Middle Immortal Realm, for so long?”

Carson Flores laughed: ”He originally went to the High Immortal Realm, but because of certain matters, he was forced to return to the Thunder Immortal Realm and stayed in an environment similar to a seal for countless years, until he met me. I brought him out and can block the Heavenly Dao’s detection and punishment of him.”

”Once I find a way to completely solve his problem, he can live freely without needing to stay in my Pagoda anymore.”

After a pause, Carson Flores added: ”So, if the Three Saints Sect really wants to go all the way, I’m not afraid. At worst, I’ll run. Later, when I’m stronger, I’ll come back to avenge the people of the Thunder Immortal Realm.”

”Oh, by the way, you asked why I don’t necessarily want to see your father. On one hand, I am not afraid of the Three Saints Sect. On the other hand, although I am not an illegitimate child, I grew up alone with my master, never having met my parents. So, I understand how you feel...”
