The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1159: Chapter 1159: The Evolving Will-o’-the-Wisp, Gaining Intelligence!

”Is everything set up so it can’t escape?”

”Rest assured, it can’t escape!”

”Then I’m releasing it now!”

Carson Flores took out the Water-Fire Mirror, and amidst the flashes of firelight, the Spectral Elemental Fire fell into the center of the prepared Formation.

The moment the Spectral Elemental Fire appeared, it rapidly drifted outward, seemingly eager to escape. However, a Red Flame Barrier emerged around it, blocking its escape route.

The Spectral Elemental Fire, like a mischievous child, floated back and forth within the Formation, even spewing flames in an attempt to break the Red Flame Barrier, but naturally, it was in vain.

The Lam Family were experts in fire manipulation; naturally, they had ways to deal with such powerful Abnormal Phenomena.

Seeing this, Carson Flores breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, ”Then go ahead and cultivate.”

”Alright!”

Since things had come to this point, Kash Lam no longer held back and sat cross-legged, placing his hands on the Fire Barrier, his body also igniting in intense flames.

A Fire Man!

Carson Flores watched for two minutes nearby, then silently left the campsite.

Lam Family members outside the tent saw Carson Flores; whether ordinary disciples or Hollow Void Practitioners, their eyes held both reverence and gratitude.

The Spectral Elemental Fire had been captured by Carson Flores but given to Kash Lam. Such generosity could not but earn the gratitude of the Lam Family members, especially because Kash Lam, as a Fire Spirit Body, had a boundless future and was destined to be a figurehead of the Lam Family.

Time blinked by, and four days later, as Carson Flores was reclining in a chair resting, flames suddenly rose to the sky from Kash Lam’s tent.

Cold white flames!

Kash Lam, his body ablaze, floated midair and laughed heartily, ”I did it!”

With a punch, the cold white Spectral Elemental Fire spread rapidly with his fist, instantly igniting everything in the area in front of him. However, eerily, although the flames were burning, one couldn’t feel any heat.

Carson Flores focused on the area engulfed in flames, internally startled. Everything in that area was charred to ash, even the hardest stones were instantly melted, indicating the extreme temperature of the flames.

Lam Family Divine Flame Technique: controlling flames, the temperature of the flames determined the power of the attack. A flame at a thousand degrees and another at three thousand, the difference in power was self-explanatory.

Previously, Kash Lam’s Fire Core was the Earth Core Fire; now that it had changed to the Spectral Elemental Fire, the power boost was terrifyingly significant.

Kash Lam landed, his face full of joy.

”Carson Flores, I’ve succeeded!”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”Congratulations, strive to thrash Bryant James next time.”

Kash Lam roared with laughter, ”With the Spectral Elemental Fire, he can’t beat me as easily as before, that’s absolutely impossible now, and even if I can’t beat him, causing mutual destruction is definitely possible.”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”I think he may not be able to beat you now.”

”How so?” Kash Lam asked.

Carson Flores chuckled mischievously, ”His Eight-Armed Arhat is now armless. Even though those seven cut-off arms might still regrow, I think it will greatly affect his overall combat strength. Advantage shifts, I reckon you can give him a good beating!”

Kash Lam laughed loudly, ”Right, last time you made his Abnormal Phenomenon arms disappear, he probably hates you so much he could vomit blood.”

Carson Flores joked, ”Do you know what I told him last time?”

Curious, Kash Lam asked, ”What did you say?”

”I told him, ’I just love seeing you unable to tolerate me yet unable to defeat me...’”

Kash Lam widened his eyes, his expression weird, then burst into laughter, ”Haha, that phrase was too damaging; it probably hurt more than if you had just punched him twice. I’ve learned, I’ve learned!”

Pausing, Kash Lam seemed to remember something and suddenly grabbed Carson Flores’s arm, ”Almost forgot, come, I have something to show you.”

Carson Flores was pulled by Kash Lam to the place where the Spectral Elemental Fire was previously trapped by the Flame Formation.

Carson Flores took one look and a surprised expression appeared on his face.

Inside the Barrier, a small wisp of Spectral Elemental Fire was leaping up and down, like a small cat trying to escape from prison.

”It’s still here?”

Kash Lam nodded, ”Yes, and I think it has undergone some changes over these past few days...”

”What changes?” Carson Flores asked curiously.

”Its spirituality has increased, its intelligence level has gotten higher. Simply put, if it was originally like a three or four-year-old child in terms of intelligence, now it might be around ten years old...”

Carson Flores asked in surprise, ”How so? Weren’t you absorbing it?”

Kash Lam explained, ”I was absorbing the Fire Core of the Spectral Elemental Fire, not its spirituality. The Fire Core in my body is an inanimate object; it doesn’t have any spirituality.”

”I guess during these days of using a secret method to absorb the Fire Core of the Spectral Elemental Fire, I greatly stimulated the Spectral Elemental Fire’s spirituality, allowing it to achieve significant growth.”

”Although it has now become a very small wisp of flame, not only has its spirituality not decreased, but it has greatly increased. If it’s given more energy, it can definitely recover to its previous normal state and might even surpass it, turning into an even more ferocious Spectral Elemental Fire!”
