The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1158: Chapter 1158: Who is the Mysterious Person?

Kash Lam replied, ”They went to capture the remaining people on that ship.”

”Let’s go and see!”

The two walked shoulder to shoulder back the way they had come. Gracie Moses flew over and hung once again on Carson Flores’s shoulder, like a cute accessory.

Carson Flores stroked her head and took out a bag of snacks from his Space Ring, handing it to her paws as he smiled and praised, ”Well done!”

”Chirp chirp~”

Kash Lam curiously looked at Gracie Moses on Carson Flores’s shoulders, ”What a cute little creature, where did it come from?”

Now that Carson Flores had the ability to protect himself, he did not hide anything and honestly replied, ”It’s from the Forbidden Spirit Palace in the True Dragon Secret Realm. I encountered it while escaping from pursuers there. It grabbed onto my clothes and was teleported out of the Secret Realm with me. I’m not sure about its origin, but it seems it can consume a vast amount of energy and remain unharmed...”

”Forbidden Spirit Palace?”

Kash Lam’s eyes widened, ”It swallowed four Blood Beads and nothing happened at all? That’s incredible. Could it be a young Spirit Devouring Beast?”

Carson Flores replied, ”I had my suspicions too, but I’m not sure. However, it understands human speech, and it chose to follow me, so why not? It can even help me a lot in critical times.”

Kash Lam exclaimed, ”You’ve gained power so quickly, I remember you were at the Golden Core stage when I met you, and now you’ve reached Divinity Transformation, even capable of instantly killing Hollow Void Practitioners...”

Carson Flores just chuckled, ”It’s all with external help; I don’t have that strength on my own. Struggling with Great Perfection of Hollow Void would be tough.”

Kash Lam carelessly laughed, ”Who cares about external force or your own? As long as it works and can kill enemies, it’s good enough.”

Carson Flores asked, ”How long would it take for you to devour the Spectral Elemental Fire?”

Kash Lam questioned, ”Why do you ask me this?”

Carson Flores smiled, ”I’ve just captured some Spectral Elemental Fire. If it won’t take long, I’ll let you devour it first. Once you obtain the Fire Core of the Spectral Elemental Fire, you can come with me to take care of some business. If it takes too long, then we’ll do the task first, and I’ll give you the Spectral Elemental Fire afterward.”

Kash Lam was surprised, ”The Spectral Elemental Fire is yours since you captured it; why would you give it to me?”

Carson Flores laughed, ”Even though the Spectral Elemental Fire is kept in the Water-Fire Mirror and indeed boosts my strength, it’s ultimately just an item to me. You have a Fire Spirit Body and can control fire. If you absorb it, it can greatly enhance your power, so naturally, I should give it to you.”

Kash Lam shook his head vigorously, ”No way, if it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t have captured the Spectral Elemental Fire at all. Its ability to control corpses is both disgusting and powerful. Since you captured it, it naturally belongs to you!”

Carson Flores patted Kash Lam’s shoulder and laughed, ”Between friends, don’t be so formal. Tell me, how long will it take?”

Kash Lam’s expression was complex and after a long pause, he finally replied, ”Three to five days.”

Carson Flores decisively said, ”That’s not too long. Since that’s the case, let’s give the fire to you first, but once it’s done, you’ll have to join me on a trip.”

Kash Lam grinned wryly, ”You’re really giving it to me.”

Carson Flores laughed, ”Yes, I am giving it to you, and you might even have formed the Fire Core before you finish absorbing it.”

Seeing Carson Flores’s firm stance, Kash Lam finally stopped hesitating, ”Alright, if you say so, I won’t be polite.”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”Yeah, there are so many exotic fires in the world, and it’s not only the Spectral Elemental Fire. I’ll find another type later.”

Kash Lam nodded, already secretly deciding to find a high-quality exotic fire for Carson Flores later, to repay this great favor.

The two returned to the Ten Thousand Ghosts Sect’s Flying Boat site only to find that the entire Flying Boat had vanished, leaving behind only a huge pit with scattered fragments and burning flames all around.

”Uncle, what happened?”

Standing at the edge of the pit, Jayson Lam turned and said, ”When we got here, they turned and ran. We only managed to stop one, but that guy was ruthless. Seeing he couldn’t escape, he detonated his Primordial Spirit, injuring two of our people, and everything here was destroyed in the self-explosion.”

Carson Flores dropped the body of a leading man on the ground, ”This guy was the Deputy Sect Master of the Seven Stars Sect, the Ten Thousand Ghosts Sect has hidden themselves deep...”

The Lam Family members all changed color, ”The Seven Stars Sect is one of the top five powers in the Central Divine Continent Alliance, with formidable strength. How far-reaching are the hands of the Ten Thousand Ghosts Sect, anyone else?”

Carson Flores recounted the information he had gathered, ”Members of the Ten Thousand Ghosts Sect keep their identities secret from each other, which means even if we capture their members, we can’t trace back to the others...”

Jayson Lam angrily said, ”The Ten Thousand Ghosts Sect has some nerve to even order the assassination of the Human Emperor!”

Carson Flores smiled, ”If you lack strength, others taking you lightly is normal; I suppose after this incident, they will be more cautious in trying to deal with me.”

Kash Lam asked with concern, ”Who exactly got the Ten Thousand Ghosts Sect inheritance in the True Dragon Secret Realm, got the Ten Thousand Spirits Blood Array, and also has a big grudge against you?”

”I really have no idea.”

Carson Flores’s expression showed some helplessness, ”They will slip up one day if they try to move against me...”
