Chapter 1152: Chapter 1152: The Spectral Elemental Fire Appears!

”Spectral Elemental Fire has appeared!”

Beneath the night sky, Carson Flores lay leisurely in his chair, observing the stars, when a sharp and excited cry suddenly pierced the air.

Carson jolted to his feet before he could speak, Kash Lam, ablaze with flames, had already appeared at his side, exclaiming in excitement, ”Let’s go, catch that fire!”

Without wasting words, Carson took off into the sky.

After speeding for several miles, Carson saw the Spectral Elemental Fire.

In a desolate and eerie graveyard, a not-so-large bundle of flame burned silently and drifted slowly.

The flame was a strange pure white color, floating gently above the ground as it moved.

Carson examined it closely. The bundle of flame didn’t seem to give off much heat, for the withered grass where it passed didn’t catch fire, and the green vegetation did not turn yellow from any high temperature.

Is this the Spectral Elemental Fire?

Carson asked with curiosity, ”The Spectral Elemental Fire isn’t hot? It seems to have no power at all...”

Kash replied in a low voice, ”You mustn’t be careless. This is only its appearance. In reality, it’s ferocious. There were two Hollow Void Practitioners who underestimated it, thinking it seemed harmless. Then it touched them, and in an instant, their entire bodies were enveloped in a layer of ghastly white flames...”

”They, with such strength and wild Spiritual Energy, couldn’t stop the flame from burning. Just as you see it, silent and breathless, the flames wrapped around them. And then, without a sound, they were melted away.”

”The moment they realized something was wrong, their Primordial Spirits rushed to escape. But as the Primordial Spirits fled, they inevitably came into contact with the fire again, and their Primordial Spirits also went up in a silent blaze, unable to even scream out.”

”Separated only by a thin layer of white flame, their twisted faces and the anguish of their Primordial Spirits were clear for all to see. But there was no intense burning or screaming throughout the whole process; it was silent, like a pantomime act, and just like that, the two Hollow Void Practitioners were gone.”

Carson was inwardly shocked; it seemed the Spectral Elemental Fire was indeed a ruthless predator that didn’t leave bones when it devoured its prey.

”And you, how do you plan to tame it?”

Kash explained, ”The Divine Flame Technique of the Lam Family is the foremost technique in controlling fire, focusing on fire manipulation. We can absorb fire seeds and then use Spiritual Energy as fuel to wield flames as a weapon in battle.”

”The more powerful the fire seed, the higher the temperature of our fire attacks, and the greater the power. After all, it’s simple. The higher the temperature, the stronger the destructive force. As long as the temperature is high enough, there’s nothing it can’t melt.”

”Right now, my fire seed is the relatively common Earth Core Fire. Although it’s also a celestial flame, it’s one of the lesser ones. After all, celestial fires are hard to come by.”

”The Spectral Elemental Fire, despite its appearance, actually possesses a terrifyingly high temperature. It’s a manifestation of the Earth’s core’s primal energy, possessing a peculiar adherent burning functionality. It won’t easily extinguish until it has completely burned its target clean. It’s not something Earth Core Fire can compare to.”

”Ordinary folks from the Lam Family, even if they practice the Divine Flame Technique, would not dare to absorb Spectral Elemental Fire into their bodies. But I, with a Fire Spirit Body, fear no flame and can control fire with the Divine Flame Technique. Therefore, I can absorb the Spectral Elemental Fire and nurture it within my body as my fire seed.”

At this point, Kash paused. He was worried that the more he said, the more Carson would want it for himself. He laughed and said, ”This Spectral Elemental Fire is now sentient and not easy to catch. I’ve failed twice already. You have the Water-Fire Mirror, capable of absorbing both water and fire, which will make it much easier. Sneak up on it and use the Water-Fire Mirror to capture it. Then we’ll have succeeded...”

Carson nodded, asking, ”As a fire seed, how much is needed? The entire bundle like this one?”

Kash answered, ”Celestial fires all have a Fire Core, which represents one of the Earth’s fundamental rules. What endows the Spectral Elemental Fire with sentience is not the burning flame, but the Fire Core itself.”

”What I need to absorb is the Fire Core. To put it simply, it’s absorbing a type of fire rule from between heaven and earth. Then I would become the Fire Core of that particular type of fire, and I would be able to unleash endless flames using my body as the conduit and Spiritual Energy as the fuel.”

Carson understood.

”Alright, since it’s difficult for you to catch, I’ll try using the Water-Fire Mirror to catch it. Once captured, I’ll release it for you to absorb.”

Kash was taken aback, ”Your Water-Fire Mirror contains a space inside. After absorbing the Spectral Elemental Fire and using it as a fire seed, powered by Spiritual Energy, the flames released by the Water-Fire Mirror could become Spectral Elemental Fire, extremely powerful. Why not use it yourself, why give it to me?”

Carson just smiled, glancing at several figures approaching in the night without saying much.

”First, let’s catch it.”

As the figures drew closer to Carson and his companion, someone from the crowd spoke out suddenly, ”Your Highness, the Human Emperor, the Spectral Elemental Fire is a leaderless wonder of heaven and earth, we also urgently need it. Can we have a fair competition, relying on our strengths and our luck to fight for it?”
