The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 736: Chapter 736: Really, I didn’t see anything_1

Three days later, Delaney Hunter returned.

”The materials have all been gathered. I’m preparing to go into seclusion to refine all the remaining Sword Bones at once, which I estimate will take about three months.”

Carson Flores smiled slightly, ”Good, I’ll help you.”

Delaney didn’t refuse Carson’s kindness, because refining the Sword Bones was an extremely dangerous task in itself, not to mention that what remained were the skull and vertebral bones. Any slight mistake could have horrifying consequences.

Carson possessed the means to quickly heal bones that were injured or even cracked, which could be a huge help in refining the Sword Bones and significantly reduce the danger involved.

Delaney stared into Carson’s eyes, ”No matter what your method is, I’ll keep it a secret.”

Carson chuckled and responded, ”Sister, I trust you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t let you know, or even let you notice at all.”

Delaney nodded, ”Once I enter the state of refinement, I will be undistracted and continue refining in one go. What you can help me with is to treat my bones if they get damaged or are about to collapse during the process, preventing them from falling apart; nothing else needs to be tended to.”

”Okay!”

”When such a situation arises, I will remind you. You treat me, and once the treatment is done, you can withdraw until the next time I cue you.”

”Alright!”

”Rest for a day, and we’ll start tomorrow morning.”

The next day, after breakfast, Carson followed Delaney into a spacious Cultivation Room, which, like the day Carson had refined his own Sword Bones, contained a large wooden tub for medicinal baths, with racks beside it to assist with the refinement process.

”Let’s begin.”

Delaney’s gaze held a momentary awkwardness that quickly vanished. She didn’t ask Carson to turn around, but instead began to undress unabashedly.

Carson was taken aback and was about to turn around when Delaney spoke calmly, ”There’s no need to be bashful; I’m not stripping completely. Besides, you’ll be treating me over these three months, and our contact will be frequent.”

Carson thought about it and decided not to deliberately look away.

Delaney took off her outer garment, leaving just her underclothes, standing boldly in front of Carson, her entire body exuding an enticing charm.

Even though Carson had no improper thoughts towards Delaney, he couldn’t help but take a few extra glances, and then his heart began to beat faster.

Perfect figure!

So beautiful!

Delaney floated up and settled into the tub. Before long, she composed her mind and began the refinement process.

Carson seated himself cross-legged opposite Delaney’s tub, facing her, and quietly watched her movements.

All of this was experience.

Sooner or later, Carson would also take the step of refinement. Accompanying Delaney through it now would give him a lot of experience and familiarity for when his turn came, reducing the chance of mistakes.

Refining was painful, but Delaney was biting her teeth, not making a sound.

Such endurance!

Truly tough as nails!

Half a day passed, and the silent Delaney suddenly spoke, ”Treatment.”

Carson abruptly opened his eyes, took out the Life Essence Pearl, and placed it on Delaney’s face, channeling Spiritual Energy. A strong vitality flowed into her, causing the newly cracked bones to heal rapidly.

After a while, Carson withdrew the Life Essence Pearl and quietly sat back down.

Delaney didn’t open her eyes from beginning to end.

Time passed day by day, and the number of bones that had been refined increased one by one. The frequency of treatments also grew, but thanks to the Life Essence Pearl, the refinement process became incredibly safe and fast.

Each bone required Carson’s treatment once, twice, or even multiple times.

In this way, Carson’s hand and Delaney’s body naturally came into contact, and it was far from a slight touch, ranging from her face to the back of her neck, down her smooth back, all the way down to her tailbone...

From the initial touch, both of their faces turned red, but eventually, they became accustomed to it. Throughout this period, both went through a significant emotional journey.

Three months passed quietly.

In silence, Delaney opened her eyes and looked at Carson, who was sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, and she faintly bit her lip, her eyes showing an unusual expression.

When had she ever been this close to a man?

Looking at Carson’s handsome face, Delaney sighed silently.

Pity, he already has a lover.

Delaney stood up, stretched out her arm, and with a gesture, a large towel hanging nearby flew over. However, at the same moment, the strap of the clothing that had been soaked in medicinal liquid and exposed to the heat all day snapped due to her stretching movement.

Carson, hearing the noise from the opposite side, instinctively opened his eyes, and then he saw the falling clothing and the endless beauty behind it.

Carson’s blood rushed to his head.

Holy shit!

What have I just seen?

Delaney was also stunned, taking a full second to realize what had happened before she hastily turned around, covering her upper body with the towel at the same time.

Carson also came to his senses, quickly turned away, and said instinctively, ”I didn’t see anything...”
