Three Towers Game

[Yes, No.]

Hearing this hint, Wen Xishu seemed to understand.

”The gameplay seems like I’m playing three people?”

”Damn it, I used to play myself, my name is Wen Xishu, trying to save others... Why has it changed this time?”

Intuition told Wen Xishu that the design of this Deceit Tower level could have many variations, but the form shouldn’t change.

If there isn’t a character named ”Wen Xishu,” then how can I gain the favor of the qualified ones?

Chris looks like the Hero, a veteran, presumably with decent combat skills, but clearly, no matter how strong, lacks the ability for direct combat.

”Starting off with electric shocks, then asking if I was wrong... Why does this feel a bit like something unspeakable?”

”But since ’they’ were mentioned, this is probably not the kind of place I understand for curing some addiction or other. This place should be more sinister, and it has bizarre creatures and strange rules.”

”Also, switching characters only works when the character meets the switching conditions, I get it.”

Although there were still many questions, Wen Xishu seemed to have guessed how to play this mission.

Playing as three characters, using their traits, skills, and items, to understand the current predicament from three perspectives.

Making good use of the character-switching ability, coordinating with oneself, and escaping from here.

”For now, I still have too little information, I better switch to the Wise character and gather some intelligence.”

Wen Xishu’s attention turned to [Yes].

Sure enough, three people appeared in Wen Xishu’s vision next, one of whom had an avatar in a shadow state, indicating it couldn’t be switched to currently, this was Chris’s avatar.

Wen Xishu discovered that Chris indeed fit the image of a ”Hero,” looking extremely tough.

The other two switchable targets were a man and a woman, the man was a teenager, pretty ordinary, with a vacant look.

The woman had lively eyes but deep dark circles under them.

Wen Xishu now wanted to experience the Wise. He doesn’t know where the Hero’s courage lies, so he eagerly hopes the Wise can provide plenty of information.

But for a moment, he wasn’t sure, which of the man and the woman was the Wise, and which was the Benevolent.

However, this question didn’t trouble Wen Xishu for long. Soon, when he was hesitating, he saw a prompt again.

[You failed to make a choice quickly, so you were forcibly switched to the Wise’s identity.]

Not bad, luck wasn’t too bad, Wen Xishu thought.

Next, he again felt a dizziness like when he first entered the Deceit Tower.

Wen Xishu’s mind experienced a stabbing pain.

”Please don’t be an electric shock again?”

Opening his eyes, Wen Xishu felt relieved.

This time, Wen Xishu was playing the role of a teenager.

”What’s your name?”

”I...I don’t remember.” Wen Xishu thought for a moment and answered honestly.

He hadn’t yet acquired the memories related to his identity.

”Very well, Zhou Fei, you are recovering well. Keep it up. Next, you need to take your medicine.” The person dressed as a doctor seemed quite satisfied with this answer.

Wen Xishu didn’t expect to stumble upon something.

”This doctor...I clearly don’t remember who I am, yet he thinks it’s good? It seems this isn’t any proper treatment.”

As his name ”Zhou Fei” appeared, some memories seemed to flood into his mind.

Zhou Fei, a top student. Outstanding learning ability, but with a reclusive personality, not fond of talking, always lived at his uncle’s house in the countryside.

Had a cousin very similar to him, named Zhou Ming.

The arrival of these memories felt strange.

Chris’s memory Wen Xishu found quite reasonable, first remembering he was a veteran with combat PTSD, hence not fitting in with others.

Coming here was probably to treat something, at least the background is consistent.

But Zhou Fei’s memory greatly surprised Wen Xishu, in this extreme environment, Zhou Fei’s first memory was having a brother.

Wen Xishu’s thoughts were quickly interrupted.

Because the following events were slightly frightening.

The doctor stood up and clapped his hands.

As the clapping sound subsided, a sound of rubber soles scraping across the floor echoed from the corridor. Subconsciously, Wen Xishu felt fear, actually inducing a desire to shrink into the corner of the iron-framed bed.

A woman in a white coat floated in with a tray. Her steps had no rise and fall, the calves exposed under her skirt gleaming with a wax-like sheen.

Soon, the woman arrived beside Wen Xishu.

”Open your mouth.” Her eyeballs remained still behind the lenses.

Wen Xishu didn’t want to open his mouth, prompting the male doctor beside her to start tilting his head to scrutinize Wen Xishu:

”Perhaps he’s just pretending; he should be sent to the Severe Illness Area, locked up with that Chris?”

The female doctor maintained that indifferent look:

”Feed him the medicine first, not everyone can survive in the Severe Illness Area.”

The male doctor nodded:

”Zhou Fei, open your mouth.”

Wen Xishu began facing a choice.

He realized one thing—

If he refused to cooperate, it might nullify some previous efforts... The Zhou Fei he played was a top student, could a top student be dumb?

Although he surely couldn’t compare to Horn, he must also have a survival way.

Of course, if he refused to cooperate, he would be able to meet Chris. Wen Xishu also realized, the reason Chris is the Hero is because he can survive in the Severe Illness Area.

In other words, the Wise character Wen Xishu was currently playing was in the Moderate Illness Area, the Hero was in the Severe Illness Area...

The Benevolent was likely in the Mild Illness Area.
