Three Towers Game

Evelyn sighed:

”Actually, I shouldn’t be telling you this, Albert. Old Jin has always reminded me not to speak of it.”

Wen Xishu said:

”Should I... excuse myself?”

Evelyn shook her head:

”Let’s head to the academy first.”

Albert didn’t say anything, but it was clear he was anxious.

Anything concerning Mr. Jin was of great importance to Albert.

This friend was truly mysterious.

Mr. Jin unified the language of the Bunker, standardized its currency, and consolidated various systems within the Bunker.

In a way, Mr. Jin was the foremost figure of the former Bunker, while Albert was a subsequent pursuer.

In Albert’s eyes, Mr. Jin in the early days was akin to a demigod.

Climbing the towers was always the fastest path to achieve level ascension.

Before the appearance of the Deceit Tower, Mr. Jin was almost like a superhuman. Back then, without the Deceit Tower, the Slaughter Tower was synonymous with death.

People feared facing the Slaughter Tower, but Mr. Jin was completely different.

Albert remembered Old Jin resolutely arranging for many people to climb the Slaughter Tower, even forcing numerous individuals to do so...

It was during that time that the privileged heirs and nobles could climb the Desire Tower, which seemed reasonable to Albert.

Because the poor had only one path to ascend—through risking their lives.

Once a merit-based system for military achievements was established, the number of people climbing the Slaughter Tower naturally increased.

Overall, at that time Mr. Jin constantly climbed the towers, leaving everyone behind, and he also brought back facilities of various levels.

The only person who could keep up with his pace was Albert Napolitano.

Back then, Albert was purely a prodigy, with many around Mr. Jin, but only Albert managed to draw his attention.

Albert still remembered Mr. Jin once said:

”I can only be responsible for the early stages, but you can handle the mid-stages... no, perhaps you can do even better. Your talent far surpasses mine, Albert, you are a gift to humanity from the heavens.”

Mr. Jin was indeed right.

He and Albert were like the twin heroes of their era, madly climbing the towers.

Albert relied on extraordinary talents in combat and learning.

While Mr. Jin seemed to possess formidable strategies right from the start.

Although they didn’t start from the same point, Albert was always able to follow in Mr. Jin’s footsteps.

By the time they reached the ninetieth floor, this was a real chasm and turning point, Albert became the only one capable of accompanying Mr. Jin.

That was many years ago.

Albert couldn’t help but reminisce about those days, when he finally caught up with the gap between them and finally had the ability to fight alongside Old Jin.

But after the ninetieth floor... Old Jin began to grow increasingly negative.

As Old Jin forcefully moved several of his old subordinates past the ninetieth floor... Old Jin himself became more and more discouraged, as if avoiding something.

Then one day, while the Bunker saw the emergence of the Five Elders, the original emperor was missing.

Albert, just as Mr. Jin had predicted, held on during the mid-stage without him.

He even endured into the late stage.

Sometimes Albert thought...

Perhaps he had already surpassed Old Jin, but he always fondly remembered that omnipotent figure whom he had to exhaust all his talents to keep up with.

The Three Towers Academy, Desire Tower System Area Forbidden Grounds.

With everyone having gone to see the sea, the Three Towers Academy was very quiet.

No sound of students’ frolicking could be heard within the forbidden grounds.

Albert, Wen Xishu, and Evelyn sat together in a triangular position.

For Wen Xishu, it was his first time in this place, alongside such two truly foremost figures of the Bunker.

Suddenly, he realized...

Isn’t this a conversation among the top figures of the Deceit Tower, the Desire Tower, and the Slaughter Tower?

Evelyn also perceived this, glancing at Wen Xishu:

”It’s truly fascinating. Who would’ve thought the one to catch up with us would be such a young man.”

Evelyn naturally admired Wen Xishu.

Based on previous conversations in the elevator with Albert, Wen Xishu also learned about Evelyn’s strength.

The Desire Tower and the Slaughter Tower are not the same thing.

But Wen Xishu was certain... starting from the sixtieth floor, the Desire Tower was at times even more maddening than the Deceit Tower.

Wen Xishu was very humble:

”I am still far from you two.”

He deliberately placed Evelyn and Albert on the same level because while Albert didn’t mind, the Five Elders probably desired to be on par with the twin heroes of the past.

But Evelyn said:

”I am not as remarkable as Albert and Old Jin. The Desire Tower is different from the other two towers, and perhaps you’ve had very interesting... or even bizarre experiences in the Desire Tower.”

”But we have different entry points. I am far from many stories. Wen Xishu, you are a true legend.”

Wen Xishu had indeed heard Wenren Mirror express similar sentiments.

The general idea was that Wen Xishu seemed to approach core objectives closely without needing any luck factor...

The Desire Tower is a vast world containing many missions.

For instance, regarding the Reversed Seven Apartments, others entering the related Desire Tower would receive missions ensuring that one of the seven people found happiness.

But Wen Xishu directly associated with the An Family Brothers.

For Wen Xishu, it seemed he didn’t need a vast amount of luck points to achieve the true ”main storyline.”

Others needed to expend a lot of luck points just to ensure their ”side quests” didn’t deviate too much.

Wen Xishu thought about it and attributed all of this to climbing the Deceit Tower.
